Vu launches new 4K smart TVs in India starting from ₹25,999

Smart TVs are everywhere in the market nowadays. Mainly the smartphone brands are in the front line. Though the traditional TV makers are also joining the race already. Vu Televisions, the California based television manufacturer founded by an Indian, comes withe its new Smart TV range in India. The specialty of this series TVs is all are equipped with 4K display panels.

Vu called its new TV range the Ultra 4K TVs. This line is made up of four models of different sizes. Starting from the 43 inches, which is priced ₹25,999. Next in sequence comes 50 inches model, then 55 inches, and the last one is 65 inches.

The company is using the 4K displays against the other smart TV market rulers by providing at such lower prices. Rather, they added some more to make sure customer satisfaction. As per the Vu authority, they enhanced the brightness level by 40% along with the white balance improvement. The Pro Picture Calibration mode, in it, allows users to adjust the color temperature, dynamic range, and gamma correction too.

Lastly for the display, as the panel itself doesn’t have any frame, the TVs also don’t get any bezel. The 4K displays also have the support of Dolby Vision and also the HDR10 color profiles.

HyperX to Air Weekly Competitions Between Some of the World’s Largest Entertainment, Music, Sports and Gaming Personalities

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, has announced a new series of online gaming events – the HyperX Showdown.

It will feature celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, music, sports and gaming. Well-known streamers are also scheduled to participate and play during this series of gaming events.

The HyperX Showdown will continue throughout eight weeks and will include music, sports and gaming stars playing games like Call of Duty: Warzone, NBA 2K, Fortnite, Madden, and others.

The first gaming event is scheduled to air on Tuesday, June 16 at 3 p.m. ET featuring two influential global music stars, Afrojack vs. Nicky Romero, paired with two pro players from the London Royal Ravens playing Call of Duty: Warzone. Hitman game series has been one of the most popular game series till date and its last instalment of Hitman 2 was launched back in 2018 and now we have a glimpse of the upcoming Hitman 3 which will be released in January 2021.

Yesterday, at the PS5 reveal event, there were a handful of games that are set to debut on PS5 including the Hitman 3. So, IO Interactive was very generous to show the trailer and a bit of gameplay of the next Hitman series game.

Agent 47’s next game is touted to be the “most intimate and professional contract in his entire career.” As per the Playstation blog, Travis Barbour, IO Interactive senior community manager said:

It was coming, the Google Stadia would soon make its way to smartphones as per previous leaks with touchscreen gamepad, now works only with controllers on smartphones that too in a kind of “experimental” state.

Adding to the list of officially supported devices, Google Stadia will now support on just about every OnePlus smartphone as well. In the “This Week in Stadia” post, Google did announce a handful of new features including the touch controls, resolution controls on Chromecast, and much more.

In that post, Stadia team also confirmed that they are expanded support for various OnePlus smartphones:

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S6 Lite recently launched in India and now from leaked renders, it seems the South Korean giant’s next tablet is already in works. Thanks to @OnLeaks and Pigtou for the leaked renders, we actually get the design of the upcoming flagship tablet by Samsung.

As because the leaks of both the sources are quite accurate, you can actually count on the leaked renders and get a overview of the upcoming device.

As per the leaked renders, the Galaxy Tab S7 will be around 253.7 mm long, 165.3 mm in width and 6.3 mm thick. This tablet is slightly larger than the 2020 iPad Pro and also thicker than Apple’s flagship tablet, also if you do notice the overall design and aesthetics look very similar to that of the Samsung’s previous tablets.

However, the Galaxy Tab S7 seems thicker if the rear camera module included, in fact, increasing the thickness to 7.7 mm. Also, we see that there’s a dual-camera at the rear end along with flash and the bezels at the edge of the display are quite big. The Samsung logo is at the back of the device, parallel to the camera module.

The facets seem to be quite thin and have a completely metallic case, also, there are antenna lines around both the top and bottom of the back of the tablet. Apart from design, some technical details have also been revealed including an 11-inch display and a huge 7,760 mAh battery. 

A 360-degree render of the device is seen, however this may not be the final device that we are seeing but gives us a fair idea of it. The Galaxy Tab S7 is speculated to support 5G connectivity, at least in the US and Europe and they are supposed to be launched in July of this year with a price tag ranging from $650 to $700.

Sony reveals the futuristic PS5 officially

Yesterday, finally, Sony revealed their new PS5 officially and yes it looks gorgeous & futuristic. It will be the successor to the popular PS4 series and this new gaming console series will feature two variants: the normal Playstation 5 featuring a traditional optical disc drive along with ‘Digital Edition’ that is targeted towards gamers who seem happy to download games.

Most probably, the PS5 digital edition will have a lower price than the other one but the pricing still remains unclear. Previously, Sony unveiled the PS5 controller, name it ‘Dualsense’, the company revealed the DualSense charging station for it, which can be really handy for charging the controller on the go.

Apart from these, also there’s a compact HD camera, a Pulse 3D wireless gaming headset and a media remote control. Accessories aside, the PS5 will feature a custom AMD Zen 2 based octa-core CPU with an integrated AMD RDNA 2 graphics that promises to deliver strong 4K gaming experience.

The PS5 to feature 10.28 TFLOPS of precision floating point performance but is less powerful than its rival Xbox Series One X console. Learn more about the PS5’s hardware from here.

Also, the PS5 is said to feature 825 GB of internal SSD storage which connects to a custom flash via a 12-channel interface delivering a 5.5 GB/s of raw throughput. Lenovo’s Legion Gaming Smartphone to outperform other Snapdragon 865 powered phones

Lenovo has been teasing its upcoming Legion Gaming Smartphone which according to Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, will launch sometime in July. This smartphone is going to be a dedicated gaming smartphone as the company’s design and rumors suggest. According to the tipster, this upcoming Legion smartphone may outperform most of the Snapdragon 865 chipset powered devices out in the market.

Now to take a deeper look into this matter Lenovo Legion may feature a plus version of the flagship Snapdragon chipset or can get a better cooling tech for such a high performance. But Qualcomm has already declared that they are not going to launch the Plus version Of SD-865 so the odds are it will be the latter. This smartphone will feature better cooling tech that will be much more helpful for the CPU as well as the GPU to give a better performance.

This upcoming Lenovo’s Legion gaming smartphone is rumored to have a large heatsink as well as an active cooling fan which is required for cooling the high clocked CPU and GPUs within the smartphone making it easier for them to give a better performance. Keeping both CPU and GPUs cool at the same time and releasing all the heat generated while gaming will improve the performance. So we believe it can really make a difference, even in relatively short tests like synthetic benchmarks.

So according to some previous rumors, Legion smartphone will come with 5G connectivity as suggested by China’s 3C certification website. It also mentions that the charger will go up to 45W even though earlier teasers suggested the phone will support 90W charging. It is also expected that there will be multiple variants of the Legion phone, but the company confirmed back in April that all variants would have 90W charging. The smartphone will also feature a display with a higher refresh rate.
