The largest global semiconductor contract manufacturing and design company looks to break record steadily each month of 2020 despite the pandemic. In July, TSMC gained $72 billion in shares to become the world’s 10th most valuable company.
Now, as per its latest revenue report, TSMC has shown a consolidated revenue of NT$127.59 billion (US$4.44 billion) for September 2020 itself. As reported by Digitimes, this is a 3.8% sequential increase which is indeed impressive, mostly soared due to the high demands from its big clients like Apple, AMD, MediaTek and others.
Each year the company is setting new benchmarks because this growth is almost 24.9% YoY. Its revenue totalled to NT$977.72 billion (US$34 billion) for the first nine months of the year. This is almost a 29.9% rise from the same period last year.
TSMC posted total third-quarter revenue for NT$356.43 billion (US$10.48 billion), up by 14.7% compared to the last quarter. This is pretty solid figures, and the company itself never expected this, which predicted a 9.3% sequential increase at the midpoint, however, hit an all-time high.
Now as the 5nm process will be the next big thing for the silicon market, TSMC’s growth will be increasing in the next quarter as well. TSMC seems to be on track to expect its 2020 revenue climb by over 20% year-on-year, this is next-level of growth, truly!

But in a recent interview, Luis Suarez has told something which shows a dark side of the Barca board.
Suarez told in an interview with ESPN‘s ’90 Minutes’ on Friday: “There are a lot of contradictions. I would have looked for a solution if it was a financial problem and if it was a sporting issue I could have understood. It is not clear to me why they took the decision they took.”
“I think they wanted to remove me from Messi’s side. Maybe it annoyed them that I had a good relationship with Leo. Perhaps they didn’t want him to be with me so much. I can’t find any reason to think that would damage the team, though.”
“We looked for each other constantly on the pitch, but for the good of the team. Maybe they wanted him to play with more teammates. That could have something to do with it. I can’t find any other reason to want to separate us because we got on well on the pitch.”
Lionel Messi told that he wanted to leave the club. But the Barca board somehow managed to keep him by the contract loopholes.
Suarez said about the matter: “They should have respected his decision to leave.”
“Leo’s aware of what he means to Barcelona. He’s given things to the club you could never imagine. He must carry on being the No.1, being the best and [being] happy.”
“Maybe there’s the possibility that he plays for another club, but if he feels comfortable and happy and a new board comes in, he will want to stay at the club. As a friend, I will be happy if things go well for him there, but also if he has to go to another club.”.
Earlier Messi was critical about Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu. Lui Suarez also supports his friend, Messi. He also criticized Bartomeu for his decisions.
The Uruguayan added: “It really hurt me and my family the way they did it. It wasn’t right. That a coach [Ronald Koeman] comes in and says he doesn’t count on me when the board had already said there were going to be big changes generate doubts. Koeman called me to tell me that I wasn’t in his plans, but I’d known what was coming for 10 days. He just confirmed what I’d seen in the media.”
“I always said the club needed a young striker, but they never brought anyone in to compete with me even. For years, they’ve wanted to bring more forwards because they wanted to kick me out.”
“It had been coming but I at least deserved for them to phone me and explain [why they wanted me gone] before learning of it through the media.”

Apple even accounts for more than half of Pegatron’s business and if its application is approved, Pegatron will be setting up its first factory in Chennai which will be PLI scheme approved.

Samsung’s Exynos processor is the core of Samsungs semiconductor manufacturing industry. The chipsets have seen their fair share of market ups and downs this year. But, Exynos processors are still unable to match up to its competitors.
The chipsets have fallen behind several of its competitors, including Qualcomm and MediaTek. Apple’s A13 Bionic still owns not to mention the highest performing processor title. With the A14 Bionic on the verge of being released in the market, Samsung has been under immense pressure to keep its footing in the ever-increasing semiconductor market.

Samsung’s China R&D institute announced the new chipset based on an ARM would be dubbed the Exynos 1080. The new ARM-based chipset will debut in the China market but not in a Samsung Smartphone.
The Exynos 1080 Could be a 5nm Chipset
Sources claim that the smartphone which will be the debuting ground for the new chipset is going to be a Vivo branded smartphone. As of now, no details have been revealed about the specs of the smartphone but Exynos 1080 will exclusive for the Chinese market.
It is not really unusual for Samsung as the company has done it before, and this also happens with the camera sensors.
Samsung is also reportedly working on the new Exynos 2100, which will be based on the 5nm process. However, the Exynos 1080 is limited to the Chinese market while the Exynos 2100 will be targeting the global market.
Reports have claimed that the highest performing core on the new Exynos 2100 could go as high as 3.0GHz, which is really fast and can give its competitors a run for their money. However, this is just only a piece of rumoured information, and there is no concrete confirmation available at the moment.
The company’s Exynos 990 has been a major let down, while initially expected to level all its competitors, the processor sure embarrassed Samsung in a big way.

Microsoft is not the first tech company to announce a permanent work from home rule; Facebook has already made arrangements for most of its employees to adopt a work from home culture permanently.
