GST Benefits Drive Major Savings
Sellers passed on GST benefits worth crores through the #GSTBachatUtsav storefront, covering appliances, fashion, and daily essentials. Kitchen appliances saw 50% more eco-friendly units sold year-over-year, while grocery essentials grew 15% following GST reductions.
Air conditioners and dishwashers experienced double-digit growth, with inverter batteries growing 2X as customers capitalized on reduced taxation.
Premium Product Surge: “Bharat Going Premium”
Indian consumers demonstrated strong preference for premium products. Smartphones above ₹20,000 grew 50% year-over-year, while premium TVs showed impressive momentum with QLED models up 23% and Mini-LED TVs growing 27%.

Small Business Success Story
Over two-thirds of sellers came from tier 2 and 3 cities including Ghaziabad, Udupi, Rajkot, Ajmer, Faridabad, and Howrah. More than 16,000 SMBs tripled their sales, with the highest-ever number crossing the ₹10 lakh milestone.
“We witnessed a 7X increase in our daily sales volume with orders from across India,” said Abhishek Dhanwani from Rajasthan Kraft India.
Digital Payments Growth
Amazon Pay facilitated massive transaction volumes, with one in four customers using the platform during the event. International flight bookings surged 45% compared to last year, while UPI usage grew 18% year-over-year.
One in three customers leveraged SBI credit card EMI offers, with 80% choosing no-cost EMI options predominantly across mobile, appliance, and electronics categories.
The festival continues until Diwali with daily deals and offers across categories.
