So, finally, Apple fans can rejoice today because it seems the rumour that has been surrounding the launch of upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros at WWDC is finally confirmed by Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives.
If you have an idea about WWDC, you know it’s more of a developer conference where new iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS, and other software stuff are announced. However, this time we will also see some hardware, including Apple’s upcoming new M1X chipset and obviously the MacBook Pros powered by the M1X.
So in a note to investors seen by MacRumors, Ives has said alongside the normally expected announcement of new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, Apple is planning for some surprises which indeed points to new MacBook Pros. However, Ives thinks the M1 chip will power them, but MacRumors completely denies it.
The reflections in the #WWDC21 graphic are different emoji symbols:
It’s not the first time we have been hinted at the upcoming MacBook Pro launch at WWDC because Apple also seemed to have confirmed to bring new MacBook Pros at WWDC with its poster. Also, reliable Apple tipster Jon Prosser even confirmed this, who even completely made the new Mac mini naked.
These redesigned upcoming 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will sport a new edge-to-edge display, no Touch Bar, and we could see the return of MagSafe magnetic power cable as well as HDMI port and SD card slot. A new industrial design is also expected to feature when the new machines ship.
via MacRumors
The biggest highlight has to be that Apple is expected to ship these laptops with new mini-LED displays. The mini-LED panels will also enable HDR through local dimming, and this why the advanced display tech is expensive and likely to delay mini LEDs adaption across devices.
So, you can expect more colour accuracy and high brightness displays are with mini-LED backlighting, and the new MacBook Pros will get a major revamp in the display and its design. A lot of excitement surrounds the upcoming MacBook Pros, and as WWDC kicks off in a few days, you can expect more surprise launches at the event as well.

The BMW i4 comes in two variants the base model being i4 eDrive 40 having 335 horsepower, goes from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds along with rear wheel drive and has an estimated range of 300 miles.
While the performance model is the i4 M50 which comes with a 536 horsepower engine, goes from 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds with all wheel drive and has a range up to 240 miles.
Both ranges are based upon EPA standard of testing.

TSMC has shared the latest information about the company’s leading-edge manufacturing nodes. Dr. Yuh Jier Mii, TSMC’s senior vice president of research and development, has shared the info about the latest semiconductor manufacturing processes of fab, as well as its N3, N4, N5, and N6 process nodes.
Dr. Mii highlighted TSMC’s increased research and development spending and headcount to stand at record levels. He stated that since the fab brought the 7nm process in 2018, it has successfully shipped more than one billion chips manufactured by it.
Coming to the 6nm process node of TSMC, Dr. Mii said, this process improves logic density by 18% over the N7 process and uses more layers with supreme ultraviolet lithography at the time of the production process. Fewer masks usage hints that TSMC might increase EUV adoption with the latest process, and the executive also said that N4 risk production will begin in the third quarter of 2021.
Dr. Mii said that comparing to the N5, the N3 process has seen more than twice the tape-outs in its first year. In the semiconductor industry, a tape-out refers to chip designers finalizing their designs before sending them over to a fab.
Dr. Mii has highlighted that nanosheet transistors were able to implement tighter threshold voltage control. According to the executive, the nanosheet transistors have managed to “demonstrate nanosheet transistors with more than 15% lower Vt variations as shown in blue compared to that of a very good FinFET transistor as shown in red.“
Earlier this year, Dr. Mark Liu, the chairman of TSMC focused on the carbon nanotube transistors at the ISSC 2021 conference, where he pointed out new material development as a key breakthrough in the area.

The online launch event will begin at 7 PM IST on OnePlus’ YouTube as well as social media channels on the slated date. Ahead of the launch, the company plans to reveal new details every day via a new teaser, starting today.
The June 1 teaser reveals details of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G design. Some more details like RAM, storage, and colour options have also been revealed via the ongoing Amazon quiz. This news comes from an Amazon quiz that took place for Indian users, which was a basic five-question quiz that had the OnePlus Nord CE 5G as the prize. OnePlus Nord CE 5G specifications and details
As per the latest teaser, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G will come packed with a “sleek and streamlined” design. Unfortunately, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer provides only a glimpse of the upcoming OnePlus Nord smartphone. While the brand has not revealed the smartphone completely, we see a pill-shaped rear camera module just like the original OnePlus Nord, launched last year.

Information like the price and battery capacity are still missing, but it will be revealed when it officially launches.
