Gareth Bale has never asked to leave Real Madrid

Bale’s agent has confirmed that he has never asked to leave Real Madrid.

Gareth Bale and Zinedine Zidane do not have a good relationship. Zidane publicly told last summer that he wanted the Welshman out of the squad. It was all set for Bale to move to China’s Jiangsu Suning last summer. But the transfer broke down at the last minute and Bale is still at Real Madrid.

Since then Zidane has given Bale another chance to prove his worth to the club. He was playing well until he was out of the team injured. But he has now returned to the club and trying to get to his peak.

After Wales’ EURO 2020 qualifier match against Hungary, Bale held out a flag written “Wales.Golf.Madrid.”, which seemed to be the priority list of his life. It created a huge controversy.

Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett told the BBC’s Euro Leagues Podcast: “It was directed only to the media because they had been writing very infantile and stupid stories from people that do not know him. The truth is he has done fantastically for Real Madrid in the years he has been there and helped them win so much.”

Barnett also said that Gareth Bale has never asked to leave Real Madrid even though he is not ecstatic at the club. He said: “He has never asked to leave.”

“He has a contract with Real Madrid and as long as they want him, there’s not much anyone can do about it. No-one has ever accused him of not giving 100 percent and a 100 percent Gareth Bale is one of the best players in the world. The coach should be happy and honoured he is on the pitch for him.”

“There’s no guarantee he is leaving. If the right opportunity came along for him and it’s something he wants to do, we have to have a chat with the president of Real Madrid and see where we are.”

“He’s not ecstatic. He has got a contract and as long as he is a Real Madrid player he will play at 100 per cent – and do very well. He wants to win the championship and the European championship and everything else. It will not affect his performance.
The facts and figures prove if he is on the field for Real Madrid they have a better chance of winning.”

Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 & Snapdragon 765G SoC with X52 5G modem launched

The mid-range chipsets by Qualcomm also get a handsome upgrade over last gen and now will be known as Snapdragon 765 and Snapdragon 765G. The 765 will be the normal one and the 765G will timidly be more powerful and gaming-centric, the best part being these two SoCs will be powered by the integrated Qualcomm X52 5G modem.

Surprisingly, Qualcomm opted for Samsung’s 7nm EUV process instead of TSMC, and Qualcomm believes that these two chips are a big step in commercialising 5G globally. The integrated 5G modem supports a peak download speed of up to 3.7Gbps and upload speeds of up to 1.6Gbps.

Like its brother X55 modem, used in Snapdragon 865, the X52 also supports all key 5G connectivity features such as mmWave, sub-6GHz, 5G SA and NSA modes, TDD and FDD bands with DSS, 5G roaming and multi-SIM support.

Now, coming to the architecture of the SoCs, the Snapdragon 765 will still use the Cortex-A76 performance cores (rather than A77, as seen in Snapdragon 865 chipset). There are still the two of these cores, but they’re now clocked differently.

As per the architecture, there’s the prime core that goes up to 2.3 GHz in the 765 and 2.4 GHz in the 765G, and the other performance core reaches 2.2 GHz. The six other Cortex-A55 based efficiency cores still go up to 1.8 GHz, not a huge improvement as compared to Snapdragon 730 in clock speeds.

The biggest highlight of this SoC is the inclusion of Adreno 620 GPU, which promises up to 20% improvement over the last generation. The Snapdragon 765’s Adreno 620 GPU has 20% better performance than the Adreno 618 in the 730, while the Snapdragon 765G sees a 38% improvement in graphics performance.

Both the Snapdragon 765 and 765G support 2133MHz LPDDR4X RAM, on the other hand, the dual 14-bit Spectra 355 ISP can support one 192 MP main camera sensor or a 36 MP shooter with zero shutter lag. It has also support for two 22 MP cameras with zero shutter lag.

On the video recording front, you are still capped at 4K at 30fps, and there’s also support for 1080p at 120fps. Like its brother Snapdragon 865, Qualcomm’s 5th generation AI engine and low-power Sensing Hub to give your device contextual awareness of voice commands, without excessive battery drain. 

The newer GPU along with 5G capabilities and improved efficiency seems to be the biggest change with the Snapdragon 765 and 765G. Overall, bringing the 5G capabilities to mid-range along with modest improvements might be a great choice for mid-range smartphone lovers. Hopefully, in the coming months of 2020, we will see more of Snapdragon 765 chipset powered smartphones.

The Merseyside derby win extended Liverpool’s unbeaten run in the Premier League to 32 matches. It a new record in Liverpool’s history. The previous best was 31 match unbeaten streak. It was under Kenny Dalglish from May 1987 to March 1988.

Arsenal (49) and Chelsea (40) are the only two teams who have longer unbeaten runs than this Liverpool side in the Premier League history.

This win also saw Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp became the 2nd fastest coach to reach the 100th Premier League wins milestone. He has done so in just 159 games.

Klopp has achieved this ahead of Premier League’s iconic managers, Alex Ferguson (162), Arsene Wenger (179) and Rafael Benitez (181). Only Jose Mourinho achieved this feat ahead of him in 142 matches.

The all-new 5G based Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 based on 7nm is here, promises to provide 25% faster CPU & 20% faster graphics performance

Qualcomm on Tuesday announced its new 5G capable Snapdragon 865 mobile chip in its Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. One its first day of launch Qualcomm revealed a handful of details but on the 2nd day, they have revealed a lot more about the chipset, giving us a better idea of its performance improvements over last gen.

Having been in works for almost 2 years now, the Snapdragon 865 is only now going into production. Surprisingly, the new chipset will be based on TSMC 7nm process rather than the improved 7nm+ which is used for the A13 Bionic.

Undoubtedly, the Snapdragon 865 chip will be used in the flagship smartphones of 2020 and so the performance will also be great than the last-gen. The new chipset features the new Kryo 585 CPU and Adreno 650 GPU.

The design architecture of this SoC remains pretty same compared to last-gen, even the clock speeds staying unchanged between generations. The only major difference being the usage of the ARM Cortex-A77 performance cores (than the A76 in the 855).

As the design stands, there’s still a prime core in the eight-core configuration, named as Kryo 585 clocked up to 2.84 GHz. Also, there are 3 of the performance cores having the same Kryo 585 but clocked up to 2.4 GHz. These highly clocked CPUs help while gaming or any high-performance tasks.

There are 4x Kryo 385 (based on Cortex-A55) Efficiency cores clocked up to 1.8 GHz that help you while you do our daily tasks and handle all simple apps. Overall, the Snapdragon 865 promises to give 25% faster CPU performance and 20% faster graphics compared to last gen’s Snapdragon 855.

The chipset is also very efficient compared to last-gen, 25% more CPU power-efficient and 35% greater GPU power efficient.

The all-new Adreno 650 GPU supports up to QHD+ resolution on 144Hz refresh rate screens (or up to UHD resolution at 60Hz). The Spectra 480 ISP supports up to 200 MP primary rear cameras (or 64 MP with zero shutter lag), or up to 25 MP dual cameras.

On the video recording front, you get support for 4K HDR @60fps video capture with 64MP burst images or 4K @ 120 fps, or 8K @ 30 fps, along with unlimited capture of 720p footage at 960fps.

The Qualcomm X55 modem comes bundled with the SoC (even though it’s not on the same die as the SoC), providing you with both the options for 4G and 5G connectivity. The modem achieves a theoretical maximum download speed of up to 7.5Gbps on 5G and 2.5Gbps on 4G.

The X55 modem supports both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks, as well as both sub-6 and mmWave developments. Another great thing about the SoC is that it supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standards that can eventually provide you with blazing fast download speeds.

It also supports Bluetooth 5.1, aptX TWS, aptX Adaptive, aptX Voice, the Super Wide Band voice over Bluetooth and TrueWireless Stereo Plus that can connect to each truly wireless earbud independently for a more stable connection. 

The Snapdragon 865 SoC uses Qualcomm’s 5th generation AI engine, powered by a new Hexagon Tensor Accelerator that promises four times the TOPS (Trillion Operations Per Second) performance over its predecessor, still having 35% better efficiency.

The new Sensing Hub promises to use a lesser battery for always-on tasks such as waking up your virtual assistant with a voice command. The SoC has support for LPDDR5 memory but that depends on the OEMs who can choose to use LPDDR4 memory to cut down costs.

Next year we can see a bunch of smartphones from OnePlus, Xiaomi, Realme and Oppo to bring 5G enabled smartphone for consumers. 5G smartphones availability will depend on the region if it’s 5G ready or not.

Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk said some insulting comments about Cristiano Ronaldo during the Ballon d’Or gala.

Cristiano Ronaldo avoided the Ballon d’Or gala in Paris on Monday where Lionel Messi won a record 6th time Ballon d’Or. He instead attended the annual Gran Gala del Calcio in Milan where he received the award for the best player in Serie A for the last season.

France Football declared that Lionel Messi’s record 6th Ballon d’Or is one of the narrowest wins in the 63-year history of the prestigious prize. He has beaten Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk by just 7 points.

Ballon d’Or 2019 runner-up Van Dijk praised Messi’s “unnatural” ability and said he had complete respect for the 32-year-old. But when asked about five-time winner Ronaldo’s absence, he joked: “Was he a candidate?”

Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister, singer Katia Aveiro, failed to see the funny side of the light-hearted comment. She gave a fitting reply back to the Dutchman in a lengthy Instagram post.

She wrote: “Now, dear Virgil, where you are going, Cristiano Ronaldo has gone and has come a thousand times.

“You see, my dear Virgil, that Cristiano Ronaldo was a three-time champion in the country where you have been playing for years and you still haven’t got your hand on the trophy.

“Cristiano Ronaldo was even the best player and best scorer in the country where you play Virgil. By the way, he was even younger than you. Then, dear Virgil, Cristiano Ronaldo went to other places and became the greatest player in the history of a club… this club, with this Cristiano guy, even beat you in the Champions League final.

“Of these [Ballons d’Or], Ronaldo already has five, Virgil.”

Virgil Van Dijk should really need to learn how to respect the legends of this beautiful game of football. Ronaldo has given us numerous moments of pure joy and still continues to entertain us in ways that others can’t. He has also beaten Van Dijk’s Netherlands in the first-ever Nations League final.

On the day, Messi won his 6th Ballon d’Or, Ronaldo won the Best Player in Serie A for the last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo avoided the Ballon d’Or gala in Paris on Monday where Lionel Messi won a record 6th time Ballon d’Or. He instead attended the annual Gran Gala del Calcio in Milan where he received the award for the best player in Serie A for the last season.

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018. In his maiden season in Turin, he scored 21 league goals to guide the Bianconeri to an eighth successive Scudetto.

Ronaldo succeeded Mauro Icardi who was playing for Inter in the last season, as the best player in Serie A.

Cristiano Ronaldo said while receiving the award: “It is a proud moment to win this award. I want to thank my Juventus team-mates. It was my first year in Serie A, a difficult league, and I am very happy. Thank you for voting for me.
I will now try to repeat what I’ve done over the next year.”

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici told Sky Sport Italia about Ronaldo’s future at Juventus: “This talk makes me smile because there are other problems. Mourinho told at a media conference: “This [Manchester United] is a closed chapter for me. I left the club and took my time to process everything that happened. I took my time to prepare myself for the next challenge. Honestly, Manchester United for me now is in my book of experiences; it’s in my history book.”

“I feel good. I like to play big matches; I like to play against the best teams and that is the most important thing. Going back to Old Trafford is to go back to a place where I was happy. I can say that I was happy. I have a great relationship with Manchester United supporters. I went back as a pundit, which is a different perspective. I was really humbled by such a beautiful reception.”

“On Wednesday, I go back as the coach of the team that is going is try to beat Manchester United and that maybe gives a different perspective.”

He further added: “I don’t think whoever the manager of the opposition team is will change [the players’] motivation. Lionel Messi has won his 6th Ballon d’Or on Tuesday. He has surpassed his previous record of 5 Ballon d’Or, a record he jointly held with his long term rival Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi has now the highest no of Ballon d’Or.
