WPBL On Tour: 50+ Pickleball Events Across India

Pickleball fever is sweeping across India, and the World Pickleball League (WPBL) is leading the charge. Today, WPBL announced a massive expansion of its WPBL On Tour initiative, bringing over 50 events to communities nationwide over the next four months.

What’s WPBL On Tour All About?

In partnership with KheloMore, Panda Plays Pickle × Swiggy Scenes, FerroHub Sports, and Sisters-In-Sweat, WPBL is creating a pickleball movement that goes beyond just tournaments. Think starter camps for beginners, high-energy social gatherings, and women-focused programs—all designed to make the sport accessible to everyone.

Building Communities, Not Just Competitions

“Through 57 events with our partners leading up to Season 2, we are creating meaningful engagement for communities,” says Gaurav Natekar, WPBL Founder & CEO. The initiative aims to strengthen franchises while inspiring healthier lifestyles across India.

Whether you’re a casual enthusiast or an aspiring pro, there’s something for you. From Bengaluru’s community-driven gatherings to nationwide women-focused sessions, WPBL On Tour is democratizing access to India’s fastest-growing sport.

What’s Next for WPBL?

With Season 2 scheduled for January 2026, this initiative lays the groundwork for long-term growth. Founded by former India No. 1 tennis players Gaurav Natekar and Arati Ponnappa Natekar, and backed by Sony Corporation, WPBL is transforming how Indians experience pickleball.

The league works closely with the All-India Pickleball Association and the International Pickleball Federation to build a vibrant, community-driven ecosystem.
