Ronaldo, Messi and Neymar have paid tribute to the dead Kobe Bryant

Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has died in a helicopter crash on Sunday. The 41-year-old was travelling with his daughter Gianna. Bryant and Gianna along with 7 others were all killed when their helicopter crashed near the Californian city of Calabasas in Los Angeles County.

Kobe Bryant was a basketball legend, who won the NBA 5 times. He has spent his entire 20-year playing career with the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant retired in 2016 but still, he was the face of the Lakers.

Bryant earned MVP honours in 2008, while he was named the Most Valuable Player in the 2009 and 2010 NBA Finals. He was also an 18-time All-Star to go with numerous other accolades, including two Olympic Games gold medals with the United States.

The death of Kobe Bryant has caused worldwide mourning. Everyone has offered their condolences for the untimely death of a ‘true legend’. Football greats Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. have also paid tribute to this basketball legend.

Cristiano Ronaldo tweeted: “So sad to hear the heartbreaking news of the deaths of Kobe and his daughter Gianna. Kobe was a true legend and inspiration to so many. Sending my condolences to his family and friends and the families of all who lost their lives in the crash. RIP Legend.”

Lionel Messi wrote on Instagram: “I have no words… all my love for Kobe’s family and friends. It was a pleasure to meet you and share good times together. You were a genius like few others.”

Neymar dedicated his second goal against Lille to Kobe Bryant by holding up two fingers on one hand and four on the other. Bryant used to wear the number 24 jersey for the Los Angeles Lakers.

After the 2-0 win, Neymar told Canal+: “I looked at the messages at half-time. This is a time of immense sadness for the world of sport and for all of us, not just basketball fans. I knew him and I made this celebration to pay tribute to him. I hope he rests in peace.”

Kobe Bryant isn’t among us now, but his legacy will live on for ages.

POCO X2 is launching on 4th February | Official Specs hints

POCO ha finally declared the official name of their next device which is POCO X2 and it is coming on 4th February 12 PM. All the information has been revealed by a social media post from the brand. In the post, they have also mentioned that the device is going to be “Smooth AF”, this indicates that the upcoming device is going to have a smoother display than most of the device in the market.

From the post shared by the brand in their official accounts of Facebook and Twitter, we noticed that if we open the link with a smartphone of 60Hz refresh rate display provided there the link showing the refresh rate of the display of that phone with which it is opened. This is not the only thing, then it also says that to experience something more smooth than this and then by clicking on “BeSmoothAF” it directs to a page where most of the important details about the POCO X2 is provided.

From all the specs highlights mentioned the main thing the brand is focusing on the refresh rate of the display of the phone. We can understand that the phone is going to come with a display refresh rate of 90Hz or more. Still, nothing is officially declared by the brand.

Apart from the display information, the smartphone will pack a dual-camera set-up, powered by a Snapdragon processor, liquid cooling technology like the POCO F1, and will come a type-C charging port for a quick juice up. All these are informed by the POCO website, but no exact information has been passed still. Stay tuned for more news on POCO X2.

The HP ProBook x360 435 G7 2-in-1 laptop features 13.3-inch FHD touchscreen display has 1000-nit peak brightness. It also features the latest Intel AX200 Wi-Fi 6 and coupled with up to 16 GB of user-removable DDR4-3200 RAM. HP will be offering the laptop with Ryzen 3 4300U to up to the octa-core Ryzen 7 4700U but not the 16 threaded Ryzen 7 4800U.

This laptop will not feature any PRO-level CPUs as AMD has not yet released Ryzen 4000 PRO processors with enterprise-level security features.

AMD Ryzen 7 4700U Geekbench scores pop up, Intel to face tough competition this time

With days we are getting more and more leaks as well as benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile processors off recently. The real-world performance is expected to be impressive especially being based on the 7nm Zen 2 architecture.

Now we have a leaked benchmark of the 8 core and 8 threaded Ryzen 7 4700U that is said to be one of the best APUs by AMD but does lack the SMT support which is present in the Ryzen 7 4800U.

The leaked Geekbench benchmark shows the Ryzen 7 4700U running on a Lenovo device. The APU scores an impressive 4,910 in single-core and 21,693 in multi-core. It features a 2GHz base clock speed and a 4.2GHz boost along with 12MB of the total cache.

When compared this with the high performing 15W Core i7-1065G7 Intel Ice Lake CPU which scores about 5752 points in single-core and about 18,772 points in multi-core in Geekbench 4. This is almost neck to neck to Intel’s latest 10nm offering.

On the other hand, the 14nm based Comet Lake-U Core i7-10710U CPU scores about 5,366 in single-core and 22,182 in multi-core. We do have to keep in mind that the scores are sometimes deceiving because the scores depend on the specs and thermals of the laptop.

But apart from that, it’s great to see the new AMD APU giving Intel a hard time with it’s latest offerings against Intel’s best laptop CPUs. Although being a quad-core CPU the Core i7-1065G7 delivers excellent performance.

Also, we have to keep in mind the AMD CPU lacks SMT support which the Intel ones have but are devoid of as many cores that AMD is offering. The Ryzen 7 4800U will surely give better performance than the 4700U and will likely take on the Intel opponents.

To sum up, everything all we can say is that AMD has improved a lot with the Zen 2 architecture and in 2020 we can expect more and more powerful and thin laptops thanks to both Team Blue and AMD.

A reputable leakster hinted at a brand new Motorola device called Edge+, supposedly high-end, heading to Verizon. Today, the very same source posted a render of a mysterious Motorola handset and it is yet unknown whether this is the Edge+ or a completely different smartphone. According to the render, this Motorola device is going to have a stylus and can be the first device from the brand to have a Stylus with it.

The new model has been leaked online and could be called the Moto G Stylus if we believe a listing on the Canadian government site. Motorola last year unveiled its Moto G7 smartphones in February. This suggests that we may see the new Motorola phone with a stylus pen sometime in the coming weeks. In addition to the new smartphone, the Lenovo-owned company is currently in the rumors for working on its flagship model called the Motorola Edge+.

Welsh international Gareth Bale hasn’t still won over the Bernabeu crowd since his record €100m move from Tottenham in 2013. Bale has faced many injuries in his playing career which hasn’t allowed him to settle into the team.

Along with the injuries, his passion for golf and some careless attitude has also stood in his way of becoming the torchbearer of Real Madrid after Ronaldo left for Juventus in 2018.

The 30-year-old celebrated with a flag bearing the message “WALES. GOLF. MADRID… IN THAT ORDER” following Wales’ qualification for Euro 2020. This incident created a widespread criticism of Bale in the Madrid fanbase.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has now stood by Gareth Bale and insisted that Bale is not a trouble-causer at Real Madrid and he will always back his players.

Zidane told at a news conference: “I always defend my players. It’s not that I need to. They train every day, they work hard and want to defend the Real Madrid badge. So I don’t share the same opinion. It’s true he’s [Bale] had a few injuries but you can’t do anything when a player is injured.”

“Hopefully he can string together more games, a few training sessions, get minutes under his belt and get back into playing and training at the same pace as his team-mates. When he is fit we want him to come back and be in good shape. It is a shame. He is not happy because he wants to be training with the side.”

“I am always worried when a player is injured, it’s something I don’t like to see. I have 25 players here and it is tough for me because I have to pick a side, but I don’t want players injured. Gareth’s injury isn’t serious, a slight sprain and he’ll be back soon.”

“You’re entitled to think what you want, but when I am with the player, I have spoken to him and he wants to be with the team and wants to play, but the other day he suffered a slight injury.”

There’s good news for Real Madrid fans as Eden Hazard is back at training. But it’s not sure if the Belgium international would be fit to play against Atletico Madrid on 1st February.

Zidane said: “I can’t confirm a comeback date as he has just started training with the ball. There is very little or no pain there now. He will no doubt improve and hopefully be back with the team soon. It is excellent for the player to be able to train with the team, it’s good for his morale and confidence, but I can’t confirm a date.”

Real Madrid have finally found their foot back after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Eden Hazard is also back from injury, which will bolster the chances of Zidane’s men to win the LaLiga and regain the Champions League trophy.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are arguably the best team in Europe considering their recent form. Liverpool are still unbeaten this season. They have won 22 out of 23 league games this season.

Their incredible form continued as they edged past Wolves by 2-1 in a tight contest on Thursday. They currently lead the Premier League title race by 16 points. It would take a miracle to stop Klopp’s men from getting their hands on the Premier League trophy this season.

But the Liverpool squad wants to have their feet on the ground and take game by game without thinking much about the future. Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk thinks that Liverpool can still work on few areas and improve.

Van Dijk told UK media: “You never feel unbeatable – it is not a feeling that we have. Anything can happen. There were moments against Wolves when things could have been different. They could have scored a second.”

“We always feel we have to keep working hard. We just try to keep improving. Things are going good at the moment and everyone is in a good situation.”

Van Dijk has formed a commendable partnership with Joe Gomez at the back. Their partnership has been one of the key elements of Liverpool’s success.

He further added: “I’ve been so impressed by Joe. We all saw last season, before he got injured, how good he is and how good he can be. He’s someone I get on very well with — on and off the pitch. That helps, of course.”

Jurgen Klopp has built a team made of champions. Last time they conquered Europe and it seems the time has come for them to be crowned the champions of England. As things are going for Salah and co, there’s no stopping them.

Liverpool might as well repeat the feat of the Arsenal’s Invincibles by remaining unbeaten whole season, which now seems quite easy for Klopp’s men considering their recent form.

Barcelona’s lead at the top of the LaLiga table is in danger as they suffered their first defeat under newly appointed manager Quique Setien. The Catalans lost 2-0 to Valencia at the Mestalla despite Ter Stegen saving a penalty from Maxi Gomez.

Before this match, Valencia had won only once against Barcelona in the last 10 meetings in all competitions. Valencia won the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona last season, while their last win in LaLiga goes back to February 2007.

Maxi Gomez failed to convert the penalty but he made up for it as his shot took a deflection of Jordi Alba and found the back of the net. He then scored the all-important second goal with a clinical finish beyond Ter Stegen at the end of a Valencia counter-attack in the 77th minute.

The Barcelona fans had a huge expectation from Setien to see the old Barcelona back. But sadly, the results speak differently. Though Barcelona had lots of possession, they were toothless in the final third.

Quique Setien said: “They [Barcelona players] still do not interpret [instructions] well or maybe we do not explain them well. Nobody likes what we have seen today. Valencia compromised us, they closed us down well. Positionally, there are things that we have to correct. We have given away many aimless passes. We do not work to do this.”

“In the first half, we did not play well at all. The best thing was that we went into half-time at 0-0. In the second half, the team improved somewhat and we were able to get into the game, but this is not enough for us.”

He further added: “It was not a problem of attitude. I have seen how committed they are. We were not well-positioned, we have not understood some things, while Valencia have raised the game. It has cost us.”

Sergio Busquets also agreed that Barcelona need some time to adjust to Setien’s tactics. He said: “I think the players have to adapt to the coaching staff’s ideas. There were good things in this game and others that need to be improved.”

It’s obvious, Quique Setien does need some time to get the squad acquainted with his tactics and style of play. But sadly, they are in the middle of a season and not playing in a pre-season tournament. This loss can affect Barcelona’s claim of retaining the LaLiga. Real Madrid will play Real Valladolid later tonight and they can go three points clear of Barcelona in the league table.

Intel’s upcoming Tiger Lake U chip beats Ryzen 7 3780U in Time Spy Benchmark

Intel’s new Tiger Lake CPUs based on the 10nm process are coming this 2020 and they have been already spotted in benchmarks by the tipster Tum Apisak. The Intel Tiger Lake U chips will be an improved version of the previous Ice which was only limited 4 cores.

This low TDP mobile chip was spotted in the Time Spy benchmark from 3DMark, where it scored an amazing 1,300 points in GPU and 4,400 in CPU.

Now if we compare this to AMD’s previous flagship mobile processor the Ryzen 7 3780U APU that was released in October 2019 scored 1,000 points in the GPU test and 3,100 points in the CPU test. This was quite obvious as the APU was based on AMD’s Zen+ i.e. 12nm architecture.

The Ryzen 7 3780U had 15 W TDP used in this test was spotted in a Microsoft Surface device. Even though this unknown low-powered Tiger Lake processor is celebrating its success but will face a tough competition to the newer and better Ryzen 4000 mobile processors which are even better than few of its Ryzen desktop CPUs.

The new octa-core AMD Renoir processor the Ryzen 7 4800U has a low TDP of 15 W, and AMD already claims that it will perform well in benchmarks like Time Spy. We saw the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with a CPU score of 8,350, although that APU has a TDP of up to 45 W.

The upcoming battle in the mobile CPU market from both companies will be an interesting thing to watch in the coming months.
