Necrofluid Gauntlet: This versatile new weapon system excels at both close-quarters combat and long-range engagements, giving players unprecedented flexibility in zombie slaying strategies. The dual-range functionality addresses a persistent challenge in Zombies—maintaining effectiveness across varying engagement distances.

Fireworks Ammo Mod: Transform your arsenal into a spectacular explosive light show. Every bullet triggers area-of-effect explosive damage, perfect for crowd control when hordes overwhelm your position. This mod adds visual flair while delivering devastating practical benefits.

66 New Augments: The upgrade system receives massive expansion with 66 brand-new Augments. These modify weapons and perks in unique ways, creating countless build possibilities. Expect synergies between specific Augments and weapons that reward experimental loadouts.

Toxic Growth Returns: The beloved Field Upgrade makes a comeback with enhanced Augment support, allowing greater customization of its barrier and damage properties.

Wisp Tea Perk-a-Cola: Your Ethereal Companion

The newest addition to Zombies’ iconic Perk machine lineup, Wisp Tea summons a spectral companion that autonomously attacks nearby zombies for a limited duration. This perk provides:

Temporary crowd control during intense rounds
Solo player support when reviving teammates
Breathing room for strategic repositioning
Synergy potential with other offensive perks

The Wisp mechanic introduces AI ally dynamics rarely seen in Zombies mode, potentially revolutionizing solo survival strategies.

Maps & Modes: Classic Meets Innovation

Ashes of the Damned: The flagship round-based map arriving in Season 1 promises the traditional escalating difficulty and easter egg secrets fans crave.

Survival Mode Returns: Making its first appearance since Black Ops 2, Survival Mode delivers pure, unfiltered zombie combat without quest objectives—just you, your weapons, and endless undead hordes. This streamlined experience appeals to players seeking intense action over puzzle-solving.

Classic Map Remasters: Fan-favorite maps receive visual overhauls, bringing them to current-generation graphical standards while preserving original layouts and Easter eggs.

The open beta includes two Survival maps, giving players early access to test weapons and strategies before full launch.

Terrifying New Threats

Ravagers: These pack-hunting smaller enemies attack in coordinated swarms, forcing players to manage multiple threats simultaneously. Their speed and numbers make traditional camping strategies less effective.

Zursa (Zombie Bear): Perhaps the most horrifying addition, the Zursa is a massive undead bear covered in a writhing hive of zombified bees. Expect this bullet sponge to require coordinated team focus fire and strategic positioning to defeat.

Ol’ Tessie: The Wonder Vehicle Revolution

Black Ops 7 introduces the franchise’s first fully upgradeable Wonder Vehicle. Ol’ Tessie traverses the Ashes of the Damned map, providing:

Fast transportation across large map sections
Pack-a-Punch compatibility (a series first!)
Multiple upgrade tiers enhancing durability and offensive capabilities
New tactical possibilities for objective completion and escape routes

The Pack-a-Punch upgrade for a vehicle represents groundbreaking innovation in Zombies mobility options.

Mastery Camo Showcase

Four new Mastery Camos were revealed in the atmospheric zombie environments:

Gold Dragon: Shimmering metallic finish with draconic motifs
Bloodstone: Crimson crystalline appearance
Doomsteel: Dark metallic armor aesthetic
Infestation: Organic, corrupted design

These ultra-rare skins reward dedication and mastery across the Zombies experience.

FAQs

Q: Will Black Ops 7 Zombies support cross-platform play?

A: Yes, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 features full cross-platform support across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can team up with friends regardless of platform, with cross-progression ensuring your Zombies unlocks, weapon levels, and Mastery Camos carry across all systems. This unified ecosystem creates healthy matchmaking populations and flexible squad-building options.

Q: Can I play Black Ops 7 Zombies solo, or is it designed for teams?

A: Zombies mode fully supports solo play with balanced difficulty scaling. The new Wisp Tea Perk and Ol’ Tessie Wonder Vehicle specifically enhance solo viability by providing AI assistance and mobility.
