Next month, we will be witnessing AMD’s next-gen mobile gaming processors in the form of Ryzen 5000H series and we have more leaks on our way. This time we have the AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor with 6 cores and 12 threads featuring 3.30 GHz base clock speed and 4.24 GHz boost frequencies.
Again thanks to @TUM_APISAK we have the Geekbench score of this upcoming budget gaming APU by AMD. The Ryzen 5 5600H was spotted on a TIMI Laptop again with 16GB RAM and a healthy 16MB L3 cache.
The processor managed to grab a healthy score of 1372 points on single-core and 5713 points in multi-core tests. While the single-core score doesn’t seem that much convincing since we know how good Zen 3 architecture is but the multi-core score seems pretty good, maybe can be improved with better laptop designs.
Although the current scores make the 5600H 37% faster in single-core benchmarks while about 18% faster in multi-core tests against the current Ryzen 5 4600H processor. The only concern remains that the 5600H cannot match Intel Tiger Lake-H’s impressive single-core performance but easily beat in multi-core tests.

Finally, Xiaomi is going to launch its flagship Mi 11 series on 28th December. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC was launched at the beginning of this month and Xiaomi came out first to claim that it will launch the first Snapdragon 888 SoC powered mobile phone in the market. This flagship series will have two smartphones- Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro.
Recently the vanilla version of this upcoming series has appeared on the GeekBench datasheet, which reveals some key specifications of the phone, including- model number, storage configuration, and also gives some concepts of the processor. Let’s check out all these.
First of all, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 carries a model number of Xiaomi M2011K2C. The motherboard of this phone has a codename of ‘Venus’. Regarding the storage configuration, the datasheet reveals that the phone will have a 12GB RAM configuration.
The GeekBench datasheet also reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be powered by Qualcomm’s new flagship chipset Snapdragon 888 SoC, which will be clocked at 1.80GHz. This phone has scored 1135 on the Single-Core test, whereas the result of the Multi-Core test is 3642.
Previously, we have got some renders of this series phone, which reveals, that the Mi 11 Pro will have curved edges and punch hole selfie camera. The Co-Founder and CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun have already confirmed that the Mi 11 will have the newly launched Snapdragon 888 chipset and the Pro version will also have the same SoC.
Both of the Mi 11 series phones are rumored to have a triple rear camera. The Mi 11 will have 108 Megapixels of a primary snapper, a 13 MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 5MP telephoto snapper. Whereas the Mi 11 Pro variant is expected to come with a 50MP primary sensor that could be an output of 4:1 pixel binning and might be a 200MP sensor. This phone may also have a 48MP ultra-wide angle sensor and another 48MP telephoto shooter. Regarding the selfie camera, both the phones are expected to have a 20MP selfie shooter.
According to the source, the Mi 11 will have 4,780 mAh of battery life with a 50W wired and 30W wireless charging facility. Whereas the Pro version could offer 4,500mAh battery life which will get the support of 120W wired and 80W wireless charging.
The company has revealed a poster where they have mentioned that the Mi 11 lineup will be made official on 28th December. As the poster reveals, the Xiaomi Mi 11 series will launch at 7:30 PM (local time) on Dec. 28. Though the company has not shared any further information of the devices officially we expect more images will be shared officially with the nearing launch date along with more feature revelation.
Impressive single-core performance, but worst multi-core scores with just 8 threads
Intel’s upcoming Tiger Lake-H processors have been leaked already and now some are headed to benchmarks as well. We have spotted the Core i7-11370H, thanks to @TUM_APISAK again, Intel seems to be stuck with 4 cores on a Core i7.
However, if you go by the benchmarks scores then you’ll see impressive single-core scores and this was kind of expected from Tiger Lake processors. However, the 4 cores and 8 threads seem not impressive as AMD is way ahead of Intel in that respect.
Obviously, Core i7-11370H will not be the flagship but if it competes against Ryzen 5 5600H, it will easily get beaten because Zen 3 is also very impressive and AMD will offer 12 threads that will post far better multi-core scores surely. The Intel gaming CPU was spotted on a TIMI Laptop with 16GB RAM and featuring 12.0 MB of L3 cache.
The quad-core processor seems to have a 3.30 GHz base clock speed and 4.71 GHz boost frequency. With that, the Core i7-11370H managed to score 1572 points in the single-core score and 4101 points in multi-core tests, obviously the former looks good but the latter seems pretty blunt considering AMD’s upcoming 5000H processors.
It will be interesting to see how all of these new CPUs perform in gaming as the competition gets heated up in 2021. Well, you’ll have to wait no more as in CES 2021, both Intel and AMD’s upcoming mobile gaming processors are supposed to launch, scheduled next month.

Intel’s upcoming 11th Gen Core processors have been leaked several times ahead of the actual launch expected to be next month; now we have the upcoming 8-core Core i7-11700KF in Ashes of The Singularity Benchmark. Previously, the Core i9-11900K had been spotted in the same benchmark.
The results seem almost similar to that of the upcoming flagship Core i9-11900K and are also on par with the new Ryzen 5 5600X. The Core i7-11700KF scores 11300 points in 1440p resolution benchmark with 114 fps on average.
Much like the predecessor Core i7-10700KF, the upcoming CPU also comes with 8 cores and 16 threads along with 16 MB of L3 cache. It only seems that the upcoming Core i7-11700KF will have 100MHz more base clock speed than the Core i9-11900K at 3.60 GHz.
While both these overclockable CPUs will feature the same base TDP of 125W (PL1), the Core i7-11700KF was tested with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card and 64 GB of DDR4 memory. It will not be long enough to see these CPUs in action by Q1 2021.
The launch of the new console generation, specifically Sony’s Play Station 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X, is expected to lead to an increase in shipments of TVs next year. Both the consoles were launched within a close time frame of each other and are now expected to proliferate TV sales globally.
According to a report from TheElec report, market research firm Omdia has projected that the console launches this year will lead to increased TV shipments in 2021. Notably, this year is the second time Sony and Microsoft have launched their gaming consoles in the same year. The last time this occurred was back in November 2013 when the previous generation, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, were launched. In 2014, a 32 percent rise in console shipment was recorded and a 5 percent increase in TV shipments as well, as per Omdia. Therefore, market research assumes that a rise similar to the one in 2014 is expected in 2021.
Furthermore, TV makers such as Samsung and LG, have launched TVs with 8K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate taking advantage of the newer console generation’s improved hardware, this would likely be a catalyst to increased sales as well.
According to Omdia, what makes next year’s shipment outlook to be optimistic is that TV shipments between 2011 and 2013 were dropping before the launch of the two gaming console.
However, there was an exception to this back in 2011 when console shipment rose 1% but TV’s fell 7%, due to the Western European countries completing their transition to digital and the Japanese government giving eco-point incentive for TV purchases.
It is expected that the two consoles will ship 31% more next year compared to this year.
