Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series including Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max was launched in India last month with a bunch of amazing specifications and a surprisingly a low price range.

This time Xiaomi announced the global launch of the Redmi Note 9 series on April 30 from 20:00 GMT. The launch will be held online via Xiaomi’s official accounts – Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and others.

The announcement tweet does not specify which smartphones the company will launch but we know few Note 9 smartphones which are sold by the company in some countries. In selected countries like India, we have Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and in the global market, we have Redmi Notre 9s which is a similar version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro sold here. But we have not seen any global variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max till now.

Let’s wait till April 30 to know exactly which smartphones will be made official under this series. Moreover a new smartphone from Redmi rumored as Redmi 10X is surfacing with specs and images may also be included in the series as it has similar design like the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Xiaomi also mentioned  “other great products” in the announcement other than the smartphone. This means the company will launch a few accessories along with the smartphone series.

AMD Ryzen 3 3300X beats the upcoming Intel Core i3-10300 in Time Spy benchmark

0

Yesterday, we got some Geekbench scores of the new Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X processors. It was compared with an old Core i7-7700K which the Ryzen CPU completely destroyed (Ryzen 3 3300X) even though we know how cheap these new CPUs will be.

Now we have a fair comparison, because the latest leak by @TUM_APISAK gives the right comparison to this new Matisse chip. The Ryzen 3 3300X is up against the upcoming Intel Core i3-10300 at the 3DMark’s Time Spy benchmark.

In the coming weeks it’s very likely for us to see more Comet Lake-S desktop CPUs up against various Ryzen processors because soon the Intel CPUs will be making through the market. However, these two new budget Matisse CPUs can be very troublesome for Intel.

AMD Ryzen 3 3300XIntel Core i3-10300
Cores/threads/TDP4/8/65 W4/8/62 W
Time Spy CPU score5,395 points5,221 points
PriceUS$120US$150?

The question until now that prevailed was whether the new Ryzen 3 3300X is powerful than the new 10the Gen Core i3, and yes it is. The AMD Ryzen 3 3300X scored 5,395 points while the Core i3-10300 managed to grab only 5,221 points.

It’s not a huge difference but still the Ryzen CPU wins by 3.3% but ultimately there will be a lot of factors which will make users decide which side do they want to go for. Obviously the Matisse CPU will draw lesser power due to the 7nm process even though rated at 65W TDP.

AMD Ryzen 3 3300X destroys the Intel Core i7-7700K in Geekbench scores

While the Intel counterpart which is rumoured to have 62W TDP is bound to draw more power because of its poor architecture. Both of the CPUs have same 4 cores and 8 threads along with similar clock speeds, 3.8/4.3 (AMD) vs. 3.7/4.3 (Intel).

But one thing to notice will be that the Intel CPU is supposed to cost $150 whereas the AMD one is just $120. Also the fact remains that the new Intel CPUs will have a costlier motherboard than the cheaper AMD solutions, now the choice will be yours to pick your side.

Google trashes the Tipping Feature for Sites

google-website-donation-feature_TechnoSports.co.in

In this pandemic situation, maximum organizations are shuttered down. Adds and contributions of viewers supply oxygen to bloggers, publishers, and similar peoples at present. But for now, Google just trashed the tool service by which viewers could donate an amount one-time to their satisfactory articles.

The tool was under development for around a year and maybe going to attach to Google Contributors. The tool would allow readers to donate one time from $0.20 to $5. Basically to support the creators.

Google agreed to their work on this tool, but they shifted from it later. It said to TechCrunch, “We recognize that there isn’t a single business model that works for all publishers today and think it’s critical to explore new technologies that can help publishers make more money. Funding choice is a great example of a product we have invested in significantly and will continue to evolve to support publishers and their monetization strategies.”

So, it is concluded Google Contributors and adds are the only hopes for the content creators and online publishers. Just for info, paying through Google Contributors allow the payer adds-free visit to the particular site.

LaLiga president reveals Barcelona are not currently negotiating deals for Neymar or Lautaro Martinez

The football leagues have been suspended due to the Coronavirus pandemic. So the clubs are utilising this time off the pitch to plan for the next season. Many transfer speculations have begun recently.

One of the biggest transfer speculations going around is that Barcelona wants to resign their former player Neymar. They also want to bring Inter striker Lautaro Martinez to the Camp Nou as a long-term replacement for the ageing Suarez.

Many people surrounding the clubs have given their opinions about the transfers but there have not been any official confirmations from the clubs or players.

messi neymar

LaLiga president Javier Tebas has now revealed that Barcelona are not negotiating any deals for Neymar or Martinez and they have other priorities amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Tebas told the Adea Conecta forum on Friday: “It’s not true that Barca are currently in negotiation processes in the signing of these two players.”

“They are most focused on when the season can resume as opposed to new acquisitions. There will be swap deals in the short-term future, but transfers are not high on the priority of European clubs at present.”

“They want to limit the damage caused by the halt in activity, but everything is still on hold. No Neymar nor Lautaro, these names are not high on the priority list at present for Barca. The club at present don’t have the capacity to make these signings, at present it’s completely impossible.”

Real Madrid still want to sign PSG star Neymar

Neymar is certainly one of the best players. After Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, Neymar is there at the top with Mbappe. Real Madrid always wants to sign the best players, so it’s not surprising to see Real Madrid still wants to sign former Barcelona player Neymar.

Wagner Ribeiro, Neymar’s former agent has admitted that Real Madrid unsuccessfully attempted bringing Neymar to the club several times.

neymar

Ribeiro spoke to ESPN’s ‘Canal do Nicola’: “Real Madrid called me on a number of occasions because Florentino dreamed about signing Neymar. I was with him last year, in May, in his office, and he told me then he still dreamed about signing Neymar.”

“We received offers from all over the world. We received an official offer from Chelsea when we were in New York, the day Neymar made his debut for Brazil in 2010. We studied the offer but didn’t decide anything. On that occasion, like in many others, we passed it onto Neymar and his father to decide.
Later they were offers from Bayern Munich, Juventus – and we even had a meeting in Turin.”

According to Ribeiro, Neymar is better than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He told: “He’s a lot better than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I’ve never seen Neymar play badly. He always made the difference at Santos, despite getting kicked, as he either scored or assisted. We saw that at both Barcelona and PSG.”

Ribeiro has also revealed Neymar’s current transfer price. He said: “It will cost you €164m to sign Neymar today. That price didn’t exist a year ago.”

Facebook official: Messenger Rooms announced, will support Video Calls up to 50 members

Finally Facebook has responded to the rising popularity of the Zoom app amid lockdown for COVID-19. Zoom is being used by several organizations for creating an online conference gathering. As reported by several agencies Zoom is not a safe platform for its users as millions of users’ data is being hacked by hackers from Zoom.

Facebook is now coming into the scene with a new feature known as Messenger Room, an innovative idea to rival Zoom and to provide utmost security unlike the later. Though it is still unknown if we can share our screen just like Zoom and the latest feature of Messenger app during a video call. This is the main thing needed during a conference group call for an organization.

Messenger Rooms can be created by any individual or within a Facebook group. The creator of the group can see, add, and remove anyone anytime. One can also join the meeting even if they do not have any Facebook account. They have to accept the meeting link shared by someone and can by clicking on it they can directly enter the video conference. Interestingly the Room can accommodate up to 50 members within it with no time limit, unlike Zoom.

Facebook launches Messenger Rooms for video chats with up to 50 people

The creator can lock the room totally anytime to prevent the addition of any participants. Although the group room will remain open for its members by default. If anyone joins a Room through the Messenger app, they can play with AR effects and new features like immersive backgrounds and mood lighting in it.

The features of Rooms are yet not “end-to-end encrypted” as “there are significant challenges” while providing such advanced and complex encryption for video calling with large groups of people. Messenger Room content is encrypted between participants and the Facebook servers, that are “placed in only a handful of countries that have strong rule of law”. The company also promised that it will not monitor or record the video calls.

Facebook is still actively working in the process of “end-to-end encryption” for more security purposes as it is a great challenge for the company while managing it over a large group of people. Messenger Rooms feature is rolling out in few countries this week and will roll out for the rest of the countries in the coming weeks.
