Barcelona vs Real Madrid: When and Where to watch the El Clasico live?

Barcelona will host Real Madrid in this season’s first El Clasico. So here’s how you can watch the El Clasico live in India?

The first El Clasico of this season was due to held on 26th October at Camp Nou. But the match was postponed due to the ongoing disturbances in the Catalan region in north-east Spain.

So, Barcelona, Real Madrid and LaLiga have agreed on a new El Clasico date. This season’s first El Clasico will now take place at the Camp Nou on 18th December 2019, which will kick-off at 20:00 CET.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are both tied with 35 points at the top of the league. Barcelona just edging Madrid in terms of goal difference. The Catalans are chasing their 3rd consecutive LaLiga while Real Madrid aim to win their 1st LaLiga title in 3 years. With the league running as close as it has come to the year-end, the results of the two El Clasico’s could determine who ends up becoming the Spanish Champions at the end of this season.

While Real Madrid will badly miss their star signing Eden Hazard along with James Rodriguez and Marcelo, Barcelona have a strong squad to choose from only with the exception of Dembele and Arthur.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes thinks Ronaldo would have won the Ballon d’Or if he was still playing for Real Madrid

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has won 5 Ballon d’Or in his whole career. But his last Ballon d’Or was in 2017 when he was a Real Madrid player. In 2018, Luka Modric broke the Ronaldo-Messi duopoly on the prize and this year Messi has won it again to take his total to 6 Ballon d’Or wins.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes said: “Cristiano deserved to win the Ballon d’Or at least once in the last two years. If he had played at Real Madrid, he would have won it, but next year I think he can win it again.

“For me it is an injustice [that Cristiano hasn’t won the Ballon d’Or]. He won the Nations League and he is a champion. But he knows what he should do and then we will see what happens in 2020.”

Ronaldo has enjoyed an illustrious career that other players could only dream of. He has won five Champions League trophies, the Premier League, Serie A and LaLiga. He has also won the Euro 2016 and the Nations League with Portugal.

Mendes further added: “Cristiano for me is the best player in the history of world football. Portugal before Cristiano had won nothing.
With Cristiano, they have won the European Championship and Nations League, [while] in 2004 they were a finalist in the European Championship too.”

“He transformed world football. We are talking about Portugal, a small country that has changed a lot thanks to Cristiano.”

Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved is also backing Ronaldo to perform this season like the earlier seasons. Nedved said about Ronaldo after Monday’s draw: “He is a champion and when he’s needed, he’s always there. He had some physical problems and is now back in good form.

“It’s nice to see Cristiano, Dybala and Higuain all playing together, and they can all be on the pitch at once if all three run and sacrifice themselves like they did yesterday against Udinese.
The coach naturally evaluates the state of form of each one when he makes his choices and, at the moment, they are all in form and you can see it.”

Juventus have been drawn against Lyon in the Champions League round of 16, with the first leg taking place in France on 26th February.

Nedved added: “We can’t complain, considering that last year we drew Atletico [Madrid], but if you’re not in form when the Champions League comes back around between February and March, there is little that you can do.”

“The precedents are favourable to us, but they do not count for anything – only the form in the moment counts.
The Champions League must not be an obsession but a concrete goal. We, like other teams, want to win the final, but in the Champions League, one mistake can send you out.”

Who is more powerful: Snapdragon 765G, Kirin 810 or Exynos 980?

The mid-range smartphone lineup is always heated up these days with smartphones like Realme XT or Redmi Note 8 Pro. With some major SoCs in this segment, we are getting smartphones with great performances these days.

The year 2019 has been a great year with some truly amazing smartphones and in 2020 to we expect to get great mid-range smartphones. The recently announced Snapdragon 765 and 765G is all set to power the mid-range smartphones next year along with 5G devices as well.

In 2020 we expect these SoCs: Exynos 980, Kirin 810 and Snapdragon 765G to be powering most of the mid-range smartphones. So how about getting a brief idea of these SoCs? Let’s see how these chipsets lineup against each other:

The prototypes are seen in these benchmarks include Vivo X30 and Oppo Reno 3 Pro, as well as Huawei Nova 5i Pro, took part in the test. All three of these smartphones have 8 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC is a 7nm octa-core SoC that packs one Kryo 475 Prime (Cortex-A76) CPU running at 2.4GHz with one Kryo 475 Gold (Cortex-A76) core clocked at 2.2GHz. Also, there are six Kryo 475 Silver (Cortex-A55) cores clocked at 1.8GHz.

The Kirin 810 is a 7nm based SoC which sports 2 ARM Cortex-A76 CPU cores clocked at a maximum frequency of 2.27GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at a maximum frequency of 1.55GHz.

Who is more powerful: Snapdragon 765G, Kirin 810 or Exynos 980?

The South Korean giant has made the Exynos 980 SoC using 2 high-performance Cortex-A77 CPU cores and 6 efficient Cortex-A55 cores. With a total of 8 cores, the Exynos 980 can deliver a fast and complex computing power required in the 5G era.

Here the leader in the overall benchmarks is Samsung’s Exynos 980 with a whopping score of 332541 points. Then we have the 7nm based Kirin 810 and in third place, we have the Snapdragon 765G. This was too obvious because of the Snapdragon 765G and Kirin 810 uses the Cortex-A76 cores while Samsung uses Cortex-A77 CPU cores.

On the graphics front, the SD765G comes equipped with Adreno GPU that promises 38% improved performance than the predecessor Adreno 618 GPU that came with Snapdragon 730 last year. The Adreno GPU takes over the others using Mali GPUs in their chipsets.

Former Manchester United great Rooney thinks he can still play in the Premier League.

Wayne Rooney left Premier League club Everton last summer to join the MLS club, DC United. But he has now accepted an 18 months contract with Derby County as a player-coach role in support of Rams boss Phillip Cocu.

He had a very successful career with Manchester United. He is still the top scorer of United. He first burst into the Premier League scene with Everton, where he returned again from United on a free transfer in 2017. He has a total of 208 goals in the Premier League.

Rooney, now 33-years-old said after watching Derby County lose 1-0 to Millwall at Pride Park on Saturday: “If I’m being honest, I know quality-wise, I can still play in the Premier League. I know that. I’ve always been a confident person, and so I have high expectations of myself. And yeah, I’ve come here expecting to do well. And I think there was a surprise from people who have their opinions, which is fair enough, but I never doubted myself at all.”

“I still felt I could do it when I was at Everton, but other people made their decisions on that. Now my ambition is to get Derby back in the Premier League and hopefully play my part there for them.”

“Ryan Giggs was able to play into his late thirties in the Premier League and Gareth Barry says he wants to do it at 40. Given the right team around me, then I could still play in the Premier League.”

“It’s important to understand football. It is not all about running around, it is about using your head to play the game. Sometimes that gets lost because you don’t score as many goals or whatever.”

“The two teams I played for in the Premier League were Manchester United and Everton. I am at Derby now, and hopefully we can get there with them.”

His former club Manchester United had a turn around of their fortunes. They currently have nine wins and a draw from their last 10 games. The Red Devils’ remarkable recent run has come under interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who took charge of the club after Jose Mourinho was sacked in December.

Rooney has played with the Norwegian at Old Trafford between 2004 and 2007 before Solskjaer was forced to retire due to injury. His return to United as manager has proved hugely popular given his status as a club legend having scored a last-gasp winner in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final.

However, Solskjaer is still only in charge on a caretaker basis. Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been widely touted as United’s No. 1 choice to fill the role long term.

Rooney commented on who should be Manchester United’s manager on a permanent basis: “Ole Gunnar’s a fantastic person. I think the club will have a decision to make at the end of the season, and it’d be nice to see if Ole’s going to continue with this form, and get a shot at the job on a permanent basis.
But if not, if the club go to choose from somewhere else, then I think in my opinion Pochettino would be the right guy.”

Coutinho scored a hat-trick and provided two assists in Bayern Munich’s 6-1 win over Werder Bremen.

Bayern Munich headed into this match on the back of consecutive Bundesliga losses to Bayern Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach. Werder Bremen deservedly led at the Allianz Arena through a fabulous Milot Rashica strike but their joy was ended by Coutinho’s brilliance.

Countinho’s masterclass turned the tables for Bayern Munich. He put on an amazing display against Werder Bremen. He was also on the scoresheet in the midweek 3-1 win over Tottenham in the Champions League.

Coutinho has endured a mixed start to life in Bavaria. But the Barcelona loanee was absolutely sensational at the weekend, scoring a sumptuous hat-trick including a brilliant curled effort to complete his treble.

Bayern Munich interim head coach Hansi Flick enjoyed this performance as his players bounced back emphatically from back-to-back defeats in the league.

He told a news conference about Coutinho’s amazing performance: “I think everyone in the stadium enjoyed his performance. It made me especially happy that the whole team celebrated together with him and shared his happiness from the heart.
He scored three goals and assisted twice. This is amazing. We are very happy with his performance.”

Robert Lewandowski also continued his amazing goal scoring run with 2 goals against Werder Bremen and Muller added another to complete the 6-1 rout of Werder Bremen. Lewandowski and Coutinho linked up brilliantly against Werder Bremen and threatened an even greater margin of victory.

The Poland striker told Bayern’s official website about Coutinho: “That was his game today, with the ball, with the movement. How he did it was outstanding.
We need such a player. I am very pleased that he showed how good he is and what great potential he has.”

Coutinho, a former Liverpool star was one of the best emerging players. During the middle of the 2017-18 season, Barcelona signed him for a whopping €160 m. But the playmaker found it very difficult to make it to the Barcelona starting XI.

His form dropped and he was far away from the Coutinho we saw at Liverpool. While his former club Liverpool was playing in consecutive Champions League finals and winning the latter one, Coutinho was struggling at the Camp Nou.

Coutinho finally decided to go on loan to Bayern Munich at the start of this season. He grabbed all his chances at Bayern and it seems he has finally found his feet at the Allianz Arena. The old Coutinho is back with a bang.

After having the tough year of 2019, the Chinese smartphone giant is not stopping its gear in 2020. It seems they are up to launching their new flagship SoC in 2020 that is likely to be the year of 5G smartphones.

In September this year, they launched the Kiri 990 and Kirin 990 5G chipsets powering their flagship Mate 30 series. Although the 7nm chip seems to be powerful enough but not against the likes of Qualcomm and Apple.

The Kirin 990 chip was built on TSMC’s 7nm node, the same which is used by Apple and AMD. Huawei chips do have a strong reputation for its performance in the market, but the Kirin 990 failed against the likes of Snapdragon 855+.

So to make a stronger SoC for its flagship devices in 2020, Huawei seems to be making the new Kirin 1020 codenamed Baltimore which apparently suggests providing 50% better performance than the Kirin 990.

Though we have a fair idea that the Kirin 1020 will use the ARM Cortex-A78 cores, skipping the Cortex-A77 cores which will be used by the coming flagship SoCs such as MediaTek 1000 Dimensity or the Snapdragon 865. So using a superior core architecture might lead to better performance, can be up to 50% as well.

No regarding the specs have been received but yes this advanced SoC can use TSMC 7++ node or its upcoming 5nm node to improve both performance and efficiency. Nothing has been leaked regarding the GPU, but you can expect a big upgrade for it as well.

Dell has a premium gaming desktop line under the name of Alienware but they did lack great gaming PC at a budget. With the new G5 Gaming Desktop range, Dell is targeting more gamers who have a low budget yet they want a great gaming PC.

This gaming desktop line is upgradable for users who always want to stay updated. These are based on Intel’s H370 chipset which means that these CPUs lack the support for overclocking which again reduces the TDP quite significantly.

The company seems to expand its gaming desktop portfolio in India with the latest desktop series. Inheriting the features from the Alienware series, the Dell G5 gaming desktop promises extreme gaming performance.

Sadly there’s no AMD option in India and you can only get up to octa-core Intel Core i7-9700K that peaks at 4.9GHz and has 12MB cache. On the other hand, for graphics, you have both the option of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1600-series and GeForce RTX 2000-series GPUs.

Cristiano Ronaldo would like a reunion with his former club Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

Juventus are through to the Champions League round of 16 and so are Real Madrid. Ronaldo scored a goal in his side’s 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday as they finished their Group D campaign with five wins and a draw.

Cristiano Ronaldo has spent nine memorable years in Real Madrid. He had a trophy-laden nine seasons. He won 4 Ballon d’Or during his time at the Bernabeu. Ronaldo also helped Madrid to win against Juventus in the 2017 Champions League final. He won a hat-trick of Champions League with Real Madrid in 2018. It was his 4th Champions League trophy in Madrid. After that, he suddenly headed to Turin in the summer of 2018.

Real Madrid are one of five sides Juventus could face in the round of 16, along with Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Lyon and Tottenham. But Ronaldo is hoping to avoid his former club for now.

Ronaldo told Sky Sport Italia: “Real are an extraordinary team, but if you ask me, I’d rather face them later. In the final? I would sign up now to meet them in the final.”

He was facing a slight injury in the last few weeks but has now fully recovered. He has now scored in his three previous matches. He said: “I feel good, the physical problems I had have passed. It was four weeks that I was playing with a little pain, but now I’m fine.”

“Whether I play with Dybala or Higuain, it is great. I like playing with both of them, we have a lot of fun on the pitch, but the coach is the one who makes the decisions and we must respect them.
But I can’t deny that we have a lot of fun.”

“The team is doing well. We played very well in the second half [against Leverkusen] and are first in the group. Things have improved for me too. I have more confidence and hope to continue like this.”

Napoli have sacked Carlo Ancelotti and have appointed Gennaro Gattuso as their new head coach

Carlo Ancelotti helped Napoli to progress to the Champions League round of 16 but he was still sacked by Napoli.

Napoli’s season has been full of internal friction and there were rumours before Tuesday’s Champions League game that Ancelotti would either resign or will be sacked regardless of the result.

Napoli won 4-0 victory over Genk on Tuesday evening, but Napoli have still sacked Carlo Ancelotti.

The official statement from the club read: “SSC Napoli have decided to part company with first-team coach Carlo Ancelotti. The friendship, esteem and mutual respect between the club, president Aurelio De Laurentiis and Carlo Ancelotti remain intact.”

Ancelotti leaves Napoli with the club 7th in Serie A but their win over Genk means they have qualified for the Champions League last 16 as group runners-up.

Napoli have now appointed former Milan head coach Gennaro Gattuso on an initial six-month contract with an option to renew, although an automatic one-year extension will be triggered if he secures Champions League qualification next season.

The deal is worth €1.5m until next summer, with Gattuso set to make an additional €3m if he stays in charge in 2020/21 season.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis welcomed Gattuso on Twitter on Wednesday evening.

According to many club players, Ancelotti was a “special person” for them. After his sacking, the players have paid tribute to him.

Club captain Lorenzo Insigne had an up-and-down relationship with Ancelotti during October. But he has written on his Instagram account after Ancelotti’s sacking: “Thank you boss – it was an honour to have worked with you and your staff. In these two years I met a special person. I wish you the best!”

Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz has also developed into an important player for Napoli and Spain under Ancelotti. He wrote: “Boss, thanks for everything you did. You have been a special person for me, I wish you the best, wherever you go you deserve the best. A big hug and good luck.”

Allan added: “You were a special person, much more than a coach… I thank you for everything you’ve done in almost two years together… I wish you and all the staff good luck.”

Kostas Manolas, Arkadiusz Milik, Kalidou Koulibaly and Hirving Lozano were among the others to post their thanks to Ancelotti. It seems the three-time Champions League winning coach has retained the respect of his players.

Ancelotti tweeted on Wednesday: “I would like to personally thank the club, its employees, my players, my staff and the president for the opportunity to live an unforgettable experience in a wonderful city such as Naples.”

Gattuso will now replace his former coach. He has played under Ancelotti in Milan. He has won the Champions League as a player with the Rossoneri under Ancelotti in 2003 and 2007.

He has been without a club since being fired by Milan at the end of last season after they missed out on a place in the Champions League by just one point. He will now look to help Napoli to get as far as they can in the Champions League and also secure a top 4 finish in Serie A.
