Samsung’s groundbreaking Galaxy empowered program has officially launched in Mumbai, bringing cutting-edge AI and technology training to teachers across Maharashtra. After successfully certifying over 2,700 teachers in New Delhi, this innovative initiative aims to transform India’s educational landscape one classroom at a time.

Empowering 20,000 Teachers by 2025

The Mumbai launch event witnessed overwhelming participation from 350+ teachers and school leaders representing 250 schools across Maharashtra. With ambitious plans to empower 20,000 educators by 2025, Samsung is positioning itself at the forefront of India’s educational transformation.

“Mumbai represents the spirit of innovation in Indian education,” said Raju Pullan, Senior VP, MX Business, Samsung India. “We’re equipping educators with tools to engage students, inspire curiosity, and drive meaningful classroom change.”

Three-Pillar Training Framework

Pillar	Focus Area	Benefits
AI & Technology Upskilling	Digital tools, classroom apps, virtual environments	Hands-on training through flexible online modules
Experiential Learning	Lesson design, teaching innovation, educator well-being	In-person workshops and certification support
Peer Networking	Community building, mentorship	Access to national network of peers and experts

Aligned with National Education Policy

The program directly supports India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2030 goals, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and classroom innovation. As Shri Vishal V. Sharma, India’s Ambassador to UNESCO highlighted, the initiative reinforces India’s leadership in building a resilient, forward-thinking education system.

Free Access, Premium Benefits

Galaxy empowered eliminates barriers by offering completely free training to educators and institutions. Participants receive exclusive perks including:

Special pricing on Samsung smartphones and tablets
Extended warranties and free insurance options
Access to curated workshops and certifications
Mentorship from Samsung experts

Future-Ready Skills for AI Era

With generative AI transforming education globally, the program addresses crucial skill gaps. Shri Himanshu Gupta, CBSE Secretary, emphasized how “AI can serve as a strategic enabler in content development, assessment processes, and classroom engagement.”

The training covers computational thinking from elementary levels, preparing educators for an AI-driven future where technology enhances rather than replaces human creativity.
