Manchester United are ready to welcome fans into Old Trafford

0

Football without fans can never be fulfilled. But because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to allow anyone into the stadium.

But UEFA has already told that 1/3rd of the fans can be allowed by maintaining the social distancing norms and rules of local government.

Germany and France’s government have already allowed fans in their matches. But the English Government has still not allowed fans in the stadium. But they are considering the matter.

Manchester United’s Chief Operating Officer, Collette Roche in an interview with Sky Sports said, “We were really disappointed when the government decided not to allow fans back in the stadium in October because we’ve got everything in place to make sure we can do so safely.”

“We’ve got all the COVID security measures and other processes ready to go. We spent around two months working with the government guidelines to develop the right processes and measures to make sure that we can have around 23,500 people in this stadium safely social distancing.”

Roche has completely described the plans to welcome the fans into the stadium after the green signal from the government.

“It’s quite bemusing to understand why people can gather in other settings such as on an airplane or a restaurant, or even in a cinema to watch football when we know we’ve got the plans and the process is ready to deliver a matchday here safely.”

“The government gave us guidelines and it’s those guidelines that we have followed. I’m convinced that would be able to do so safely.”- Roche added.

Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in Europe. The voice of the fans in the stadium adds a perfect flavour.

Apple to reportedly cut-ties with its assembler

0

Foxconn is the world’s largest assembler of electronics, and the company has rightfully earned its reputation as the best in the business. The assemble and Apple has been in a relationship for a long time, and Foxconn is the primary assembler for Apple’s devices.

Reports claim that this long time relationship between Apple and Foxconn may be in jeopardy. The reason could very well be that apple enjoys premium profits on all of its products and that Foxconn is probably unhappy with its share in profits.

According to sources, Apple gets a 40% profit while Foxconn only gets a single-digit mark. However, now, the assembler is looking for other companies to increase their profits.

Foxconn is sending reports to apple to get more profit margin from the Cupertino giants. But the company has reported the number of employees and how many people are working on assembling apple’s products. The numbers can be fake, not just this, but Foxconn also uses Apple equipment to manufacture and make Apples’ smartphone rivals. Now, this is something no company will tolerate, and we are talking about apple, who isn’t even afraid to go against google if need be.

Now all this has forced Apple to undertake specific measures against Foxconn finally. According to sources, Apple is keeping a close watch on Foxconn, its employees. And its daily activities to see whether the product testing is going according to its requirements.

No reports indicate that Apple and Foxconn have reached a mutual understanding, but knowing Apple will not tolerate this behavior. Reports suggest that the Cupertino giant has a few backups and may give the assembling contract to some other company.

It is true that apple hogs more profit for its products, but it is the company’s products, but it has the right to get a higher margin.

What is going wrong with Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign?

0

Once the conquerors of the world, Real Madrid have been a shadow of their former selves since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from the Spanish capital.

Despite managing to win their 34th league title last season under Zinedine Zidane, Los Blancos have struggled to make an impact in the Champions League, a competition that Zidane himself won with Real Madrid three times in a row.

However, it must be kept in mind that Real Madrid are a very different team today than they were in 2018. Sure, many of the same faces are there, but without the attacking threats of the likes of Ronaldo and Bale on either wing, the offensive output has taken a hit.

ronaldo bale What is going wrong with Real Madrid's Champions League campaign?

But that isn’t the only reason why Real Madrid have endured a poor Champions League campaign in recent years.

Consecutive defeats to Manchester City in last season’s quarter-finals and opening the 20/21 season with a defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk at home, Real Madrid had lost three of their four last games in the competition.

Last night, they looked like making it 4 in a row, but late goals from Casemiro and Karim Benzema saved the day for the 13-time Champions League winners.

Borussia Mönchengladbach were unlucky to not beat their opponents on the day but would be happy to settle for a point against their toughest opponents in the group.

Real Madrid have transformed into one of the most defensively compact teams in Europe. The proof lies in the fact that they conceded the least amount of goals in the league last season.

Could it be that the Real Madrid squad have become over-confident in their abilities?

Could it be that Karim Benzema needs more support up front to deliver the goals that Madrid need?

Questions are being asked of Zinedine Zidane and his current run at Real Madrid, and those questions need answering soon if Real are to progress to the knockout stages of the competition.

This is because even a Europa League drop would be shameful for the 13-time Champions League winners and the quality of their squad.

CSK CEO reveals his confidence of MS Dhoni leading the team in IPL 2021 ahead of squad revamp

In what comes as a big news ahead of next year’s IPL, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Vishwanathan has stated that he expects captain MS Dhoni to continue to lead the side in the next edition of the lucrative T20 cricketing league.

Speaking in a brief interview, Vishwanathan is quoted as saying, “Yes, definitely. I am very confident that Dhoni will lead CSK in 2021. He has won three titles for us in the IPL. This is the first year we have not qualified for the playoffs. No other team has done that. One bad year does not mean we will have to change everything,”.

IPL 2020: MS Dhoni returns with a changed, muscular appearance | Cricket News – India TV

Things have not panned out for CSK as they would have expected it to in the 2020 IPL season. Sitting rank bottom of the pile in with 8 points, several reasons have contributed to the team’s downfall, which has led them to deliver abject performances.

The victory against RCB did cheer and give hope to some of its fans, but RR’s win against MI that very evening meant that CSK were out of the Playoffs reckoning for the first time in their 11 seasons’ history.

As a result of this, big decisions and calls await the Chennai franchise’s management – and making Dhoni captain for another season sees their on-field leadership department sorted.

IPL 2020: CSK Players and Support Staff Test Negative for Coronavirus, Must Undergo One More Test

What will concern them, however, is the declining ability and lack of agility rooted through to most of the key players. Understandably, players like Watson, Tahir, Harbhajan, Raina and Piyush Chawla who are part of the roster are past their prime, which could mean a mass release of players and refreshment of the squad at the 2021 IPL Auctions.

In addition, the team also needs to look at areas like opening batsmen and Indian pace and spin bowling contingent, which can galvanize the balance of an outfit ready to compete with the other teams next year.

It will consist of games revolving around all three formats, with 3 ODIs, 3 T20s and 4 Test matches.

India Tour of Australia 2020: BCCI announces Team India squads for the Australia tour

The full schedule of the tour is as follows –

  • 2nd ODI: November 29 – SCG (D/N)
  • 3rd ODI: December 2 – Canberra (D/N)

  • 2nd Test: December 26-30 – MCG

  • 4th Test: January 15-19 – Brisbane

India have picked quite a strong squad keeping in mind the skills and attributes of players that are contracted and have performed in the various domestic competitions as well as the Indian Premier League.

The biggest doubt and source of confusion, however, is proving to be whether Rohit Sharma will be match fit to face Australia following his “temporary exclusion” from the squad.

Regardless, more information with time will be able to clarify that particular situation, and it will be a huge loss for India if they were not to have ‘Hitman’ while facing a very strong opponent.

India should be able to win at least two World Cups out of three coming up: Rohit Sharma | Cricket News – India TV

The Indian team is expected to fly out to Sydney on November 12, just a couple days after the IPL 2020 final is concluded in Abu Dhabi. Although that would seem a little tight for players not being able to properly recuperate, they will have some time to recharge their batteries before the first ODI on November 27. Nevertheless, Virat Kohli’s men will attempt to reclaim dominance on foreign soil, across all three series.

In case you missed it, these are the squads declared by the BCCI for all the three formats:

Zoom finally launches End-to-End Encryption for video meetings

0

Due to the raging pandemic, our lives have been changed drastically. With most of the professions being driven by Work from Home culture, the video meeting platforms have seen a sudden surge in popularity. One such platform is Zoom, which rosed to prominence due to massive demand for online video meetings, especially in education.

But the service was criticized for its lack of security and privacy features. Well, it seems that things are finally changing. Zoom has brought forth its much-awaited end-to-end encryption. It allows both the free and paid users to secure their meetings so that their discussions can only be accessed by the meeting participants and not by any third party, including zoom.

The encryption feature of Zoom is supported by the app across all platforms that includes Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android devices. But the E2EE is not available for the apps web client or the third party clients that use Zoom SDK.

The new E2EE  feature supports a meeting of a maximum of 200 participants. That won’t affect much of its users who are on Zoom’s basic or pro plans. But it could pose a problem for business or enterprise subscribers with a participant limit of up to 300 or 500.

Zoom earlier announced that its end-to-end encryption feature would not be available for free users, but it soon backtracked its statement. However, the company has stated that to use the E2EE part; free users will have to verify their mobile number using SMS. Along with this, free users need to have a valid billing option associated with their zoom accounts.

The E2EE feature will be available to all of Zoom’s users in one month. Reports claim that this is the initial launch of zooms’ upcoming plan for improving its video meeting service. The company is also working on features like better identity management and support for single sign-on. The new features will be reportedly launched next year.
