What Makes OnePlus 15 Sand Storm Edition Special
The Sand Storm edition introduces aerospace-grade Micro-Arc Oxidation (MAO) technology—an industry first for smartphones. This high-voltage plasma process creates a ceramic coating directly on the metal frame, making it 3.4 times harder than standard aluminum and 1.3 times tougher than titanium.
Desert-Inspired Durability
Inspired by desert landscapes, the design combines a cool ceramic frame with a lightweight fiberglass back, creating a minimalist aesthetic with a warm, silky grip. The MAO process is also environmentally sustainable, aligning with modern eco-conscious manufacturing.
Performance Beast
OnePlus confirmed the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform paired with an advanced cooling system to ensure sustained peak performance and efficiency. The 165Hz LTPO OLED display promises buttery-smooth gaming and scrolling experiences.
Marathon Battery Life
The rumored 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging means you’re looking at multi-day usage even with heavy use. This positions the OnePlus 15 among the longest-lasting flagships in 2026.
Camera Excellence
The triple 50MP camera system includes a periscope telephoto lens for serious zoom capabilities, continuing OnePlus’s partnership with Hasselblad for color science optimization.
With an expected starting price around ₹74,999 in India (approximately $899 globally), the OnePlus 15 aims to undercut competitors while delivering flagship specs. For more flagship smartphone comparisons and the latest Android phone reviews, stay tuned to TechnoSports.
