Apple plans to give its MacBook models a revamp with plans of ARM updates

Apple has released many devices this year and also its much-anticipated iPhone 12 5G. The company also released its A14 Bionic, which has taken the throne as the most powerful processor in the market.

Now, the company has announced the hardware features for its upcoming MacBook. The company recently launched its macOS 11.0.1 beta, and the stable version of its OS will be launched with the release of its three new Mac models. According to sources, the iPhone maker plans to launch a new version of its MacBook Pro 16.

Now, however, various Mac models of the company have gone out of stock. Apple is now offering six weeks of delivery time on some of its devices, including the iMac Pro.

The list of devices that are currently out of stock in the US market is given below:

  • MacBook Pro 13
  • MacBook Pro 16
  • iMac 21.5-inch
  • iMac 27-inch
  • iMac Pro

The scenario in which the apple devices have gone out of stock. It indicates that Apple is planning to make a complete refresh of its devices. We already know that Apple plans to release its first ARM-based Mac model this year. But according to sources, the iPhone maker will only unveil its entry-level MacBook this year.

However, sources claim that the unveiling of Apple’s new ARM-based MacBook will be unveiled on November 10.

It is still not straightforward as to which model of its product line will get the update of ARM. However, expressly exact that MacBook Pro 16 will not be the one to receive the ARM-based update. There are also rumors of the company planning to launch a new 12-inch MacBook.

According to various leaks, the company’s upcoming ARM-based MacBook offers plenty of performance upgrades over its predecessors. It is also believed that the ARM-based MacBook’s will feature a customized version of Apple’s A14 Bionic chipset.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has completed his 100th game as a manager last Sunday against Arsenal, in which they lost 1-0.

Manchester United finished third in the league last season and was in the top 4 in all the cup competitions. They even beat Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig in UEFA Champions League this season. Ole should definitely be given some more time to prove his plans to take the club to new heights.

Velocity Gaming was crowned champions in every single tournament they participated in until now. They will also represent India in Singapore in PVP Tournament this December. Before the hectic schedule, the team needed a break from tournament pressure. So, they decided to not participate in any tournament.

Velocity Gaming’s comeback will be against Global Esports in Nodwin Agni Series semi-final. Interestingly the last match VLT played before their break was also against Global Esports. VLT beat GE in that tie. Since then there were multiple changes made to both teams. Debanjan ‘Deathmaker’ Das of GE decided to stick with Counter-Strike and Sagnik ‘Helff’ Roy joined VLT from GE. It will be an opportunity for Sagnik ‘Helff’ Roy to play against his old teams in the comeback game VLT.

In the other semi-final Reckoning Esports will face God Particles. The winner of both ties will face each other in the finals. The tournament will be telecasted live on Nodwin Gaming’s youtube channel.  The matches will start at 5 pm.

In the meantime, Velocity Gaming has formed its boot camp in Hyderabad. Some people suggest that the VLT boot camp is one of the best boot camps in India. VLT players are currently staying at that boot camp.

The tournament was scheduled to be played on 2nd November. But it was postponed to 4th November as there was a scheduled patch update in the game. After this update, the new character ‘Skye’ is now live in India.

Airtel surpasses Jio in terms of net subscriber additions for the first time

When reliance Jio entered the telecom market, it shook the industry to its core. Most of the telecoms either gave up or merged with other businesses to secure their future. Bharti Airtel is the one telecom that has stood tall against the onslaught from Jio for four years now.

Now it seems that Airtel is shifting towards an offensive against Jio. With subscriber additions, expanding its postpaid customer base, from taking on Jio in the broadband fiber-to-the-home market, and developing its own 5G free radio access network. Airtel seems to be in the mood of not backing down.

Recently, Airtel announced its second-quarter 2020-21 (FY21) results, and to everyone’s surprise, the company declared its net subscriber addition of 13.9 million, most of which are in 4G. The numbers are almost double what Jio managed to acquire in the same quarter.

This is the first time that Airtel has surpassed Jio in terms of net additions.

With the increase in subscribers, Airtel’s average revenue per user (ARPU) is 3 percent. It is partly because of 4G subscriber additions and also due to an increase in postpaid users.

According to sources, the slowing down of Jio in net additions is because of the company reducing its 4G phone offering. Its 4G phone bundling attracted 2G customers to upgrade to its 4G network at a low cost.

Jio has recently announced its joint venture with Google to launch a low-cost smartphone powered by Android. But reports claim that the production is still three to four months far away.

This gap may very well serve as a boon for Airtel, which can leverage Jio’s lack of bundle offering and attract even more subscribers to its network.

Airtel increasing its customer base is an indication that the telecom is gearing up to take on Jio in a big way. As to what will happen in this head-to-head collision between India’s two telecom giants will only be known after Jio releases its new smartphone bundle.

Just before the new AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors‘ actual availability, we are seeing a lot of benchmarks and numbers floating across the internet. Both the upcoming Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 5 5600X have been spotted on Userbenchmark, and now finally, we see the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X in action.

Like all other benchmarks, this one too is courtesy of @TUM_APISAK who has spotted this upcoming Zen 3 based CPU coupled with an RTX 3080.

As we see, the Ryzen 7 5800X is 7% better with just 2 benchmarks, and the margin should increase in the coming days. The thing that you should see is that the gaming performance difference, for gaming, desktop as well as productivity, in all aspects it defeats the eight-core Intel competitor.

You can also overclock it with proper cooling to get the most out of the upcoming 8-core beast from team Red. As a whole, much like its brother CPUs, the upcoming Ryzen 7 5800X is better than Intel in gaming as well as productivity!!!

The Blue team is quite busy to refine its mobile chips and its new Xe graphics embedded onto it to tackle AMD’s Ryzen 4000 processors. In the meantime, they seem to be refining their embedded Intel HD graphics as well.

Finally, we have spotted the new Intel Gen12 HD graphics benchmark, which is supposed to be featured on the Ice Lake-based Whitley server platform. This is an upcoming server CPU series from Intel, which seems to have decent integrated graphics.

As we see in the Geekbench OpenCL benchmark, the Intel Gen12 HD Graphics NEO seems to have a decent score of 25475 points, and this is because two server CPUs are running together. As we see, the upcoming Ice Lake-SP processors are running on Ubuntu with 48 cores and 96 threads, meaning each server CPU having 24 cores and 48 threads, paired with 128GB RAM.

That’s why we see the Intel Gen12 HD Graphics NEO with 512 Compute Units, 1.15GHz max frequency, and about 6.36GB VRAM. The new Ice Lake-based Intel Whitley server platform seems to be good enough on basic graphics requirements, whereas we have no idea about the CPU bound performance as of now.

Having appeared on the benchmarks does prove the reality of the upcoming server platform from Intel and we can expect a launch sometime in 2021.
