AMD plants Radeon 6000 Easter Egg in Fortnite

Yes, Big Navi is coming

When most people out there are thinking that AMD might have gone blind with the launch of NVIDIA’s RTX 30-series GPUs, it seems Lisa Su’s team is ready to battle against their sole rival Jensen Huang. Big Navi is the next big thing expected from AMD’s side and it seems they are confident enough against the likes of the mighty RTX 3070 that will be both cheaper and powerful.

AMD has always never tried to dominate NVIDIA at the top-of-the-line, whereas their focus always remained on efficient low cost GPUs that are value for money. AMD’s Navi based Radeon RX 5700 & 5700XT were the best 1440p gaming GPU last year and the price at which they came totally dominated RTX 2070’s market. So, a lot of expectation surrounds around Big Navi as well because it is touted to overtake the might RTX 2080 Ti from last year as well.

This means a similar GPU with RTX 3070 like performance is expected from AMD but the fact remains how they will price it against NVIDIA’s lucrative pricing of $499. Now, in between all these rumors, AMD has planted a major easter egg by planting in a Fortnite map, which was found by a streamer passing via the AMD Battle Arena that was launched a few days ago. 

The game streamer GinaDarling found a teasing text that stated “Something big is coming to the AMD battle arena,” after having entered a passcode “6000” into a terminal to proceed. Although this is just a hit but via this easter egg one thing is clear that AMD’s ‘Big Navi’ is real and will be named after Radeon 6000 series.

Now, if you think this is quite irrelevant, then don’t be because AMD’s Scott Herkelman, CVP & GM at AMD Radeon, as even congratulated Gina on finding the easter egg, so this actually means something. So, the AMD Radeon 6000 series GPUs are surely arriving soon along with the Zen 3 based Ryzen 4000 CPUs as well and rumors point out that the launch might happen on October 7th rather than the previous date in September. So, we could expect a big announcement from AMD as well.

LG K52 renders leaked along with some specs

A render of the LG K52 is leaked and that looks an official one. One of the noted leaker Evan Blass shared an image as well as some specs of this smartphone on his Patreon page.

As per the image, there are two color variants – Blue and White. Rather than this, the smartphone has a 6.6-inch display and a 4,000mAh battery.

If you observe the image closely, there is a quad-camera setup at the rear side. It seems a large size flash is also added with it. In the front, you can see a punch-hole camera at the top-center position.

The screen is surrounded by very thin bezels, though the chin part the large a bit. The power button is visible on the right side, no fingerprint sensor spotted yet.

There are no further details available regarding the camera resolution, display resolution, processer, charging facility, and RAM+internal storage variants. But as LG’s K series is a budget segment, we can expect this LG K52 will also come in this list.

Xiaomi listed its Mi TV Horizon edition on the Amazon India in the last month. From then on, the company was teasing its features like PatchWall UI, ‘Quintessential’ display, and access to more than 5,000 apps, nothing more than that. The launch date in India is scheduled for 7th September. But before that maximum of the specs are leaked by a tipster Ishan Agarwal. So, here are the leaked key specifications.

As per the details, the new Horizon edition Mi TV is coming with a 43-inch LED display having Full HD resolution. On top of it, the bezel-less design will enhance the viewing experience. The company already teased regarding the PatchWall UI that is based on Android TV 9, the leak is also saying the same. A cortex A53 processor is powering the TV with the collaboration with 1GB of RAM. For app data and installation 8GB of internal storage is given.

It was quite clear he is unhappy with his current club and wants to live as soon as possible. It is fully up to Real Madrid now.

Apple will be introducing its new flagship series iPhone 12 which will be the first phone supported by the 5G network. Previously we tipped some news about the arrival of this new flagship series of Apple, now another news is reported that the new iPhone series will come with a support of mmWave 5G.

A tipster goes by pseudonym on Twitter has leaked some basic specifications of this expected handset. The tipster has posted a branch of screenshots that clearly compare the iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 11 Pro Max. It is predicted that Apple may introduce its new handset in September. iPhone 12 Pro Max is identically the same as iPhone 11 Pro Max.

According to the source, only the iPhone 12 Pro Max has enough place extra antennas that will handle 26-28GHz high-frequency signals. As we all know that mmWave 5G has a high power draw, so the smaller battery will not cut it.

Apple needs a high-speed connection to resolve these problems- Gigabytes speed or higher, at least hundred of megabytes in practice. All handsets of the iPhone 12 series will be supported by the 5G network.

5G mmWave is hard and new technology most importantly many countries do not have the operational network yet, that’s why only the US, South Korea, and Japan will be getting the mmWave model. Other regions will receive a sub 6 version of the phone instead.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is expected to have an all-new, A14 Bionic Chip with 4th generation Neural Engine. According to the source, the phone may have the longest battery life in an iPhone that could last up to two hours longer than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The tipster also revealed that the iPhone 12 Pro Max may be launched with Face ID to recognize the facial feature of the users and even the handset is lying flat on a table. Apple is expected to introduce its new smartphone in October.

PREMIER LEAGUE 2020-21 SEASON PREVIEW: Can Wolves climb any higher up the table?

Ahead of the new Premier League season, Wolves were dealt a significant blow by the Financial Control Body of UEFA – stating that the club had violated FFP guidelines. This meant that they would have a restricted squad for the next two seasons, should they qualify for European competitions. So with rival contenders strengthening and driven by demanding and ambitious owners, what can Wolves look to do in the league?

Transfer Activity

Wolves sold Helder Costa and Matt Doherty to Leeds and Tottenham respectively, in what can be considered very cheap and cut-price deals. They are yet to make a signing of the significant impact that could raise the quality of the first team. However there is still about a month to go for the window to slam shut, and recent transfer news indicates that they are close to completing a deal for Estoril defender Toti Gomes. Furthermore, Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam is also on the club’s shortlist – after losing Jonny Otto to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Strength

The good news for Wolves is that bar Doherty, so far no important player is seeking a transfer away from the club. The group core of Patricio, Neves, Jota, Coady, and hitman Raul Jimenez are all expected to stay and fight for top half glory, at the very least. Further, the familiarity with Nuno Espirito Santo’s tactics means that the team chemistry will only improve further and they will be a thorn in many PL sides’ ambitions. Another stat to be aware of is that Wolves remained undefeated for 15/19 games played at their home ground Molineux, which means they will yet again build on that form when the season begins.

Weakness

Pundits have indicated that Wolves’ squad might be growing weaker in important positions. This is documented by the fact that we’re there to be injuries to key personnel, it would mean that squad players cannot display the same quality and would struggle to win matches. Another deficit is the fact that their European settlement agreement would mean that they cannot attract and pay top talent from the country and abroad to the extent they would have liked to do so. Current players may also look to force their way out of the club.

Key player

Raul Jimenez will yet again be the talisman for Wolves. With an attacking return of 30 goals and 17 assists over the course of two seasons, his consistency in the form will prove to be the foundation of Wolves’ success in the league. They also pride their strength in defence and once again, all eyes will be on club captain Conor Coady to organise and marshal that backline to prevent the concession of goals and keep their basic tactical aspects intact.

Predicted table finish

8th place: The fact that other leading contenders have improved in the market as well as the fact that Nuno has a good squad at his disposal, would most certainly mean that they will finish in the top half of the table.

The countdown to IPL 2020 has started. The IPL being postponed and many other obstacles due to the COVID-19 pandemic has made the tournament even more exciting.

Today we take a closer look at probably the ‘dark horse’ of the entire IPL, the season one champions, Rajasthan Royals. The Royals finished 7th out of the eight teams last year. This year, however, the management has taken a few major decisions which could completely change the course of the team.

History

We take a quick little trip back to memory lane before focusing on the upcoming season. Royals, as the name suggests, have featured some great players namely Shane Warne, Rahul Dravid, Shane Watson, Graeme Smith, and many more. The team started off as underdogs in season one back in 2008. Against the odds, they shocked the world by winning season one of the IPL under the captaincy of Shane Warne.

The Royals, however, have struggled to make the same impact ever since. They have mostly been in the bottom tier of the table. The team wasn’t active been 2015-2017 due to the infamous spot-fixing allegations. Here how they placed during the past 12 years.

How will they perform in IPL 2020?

BATTING – The management has made some radical changes in the team management that have made it more T20 specific. The team has let off with long-time opener Ajinkya Rahane. Even though Rahane played extremely well over the years, the overall strike rate has always been an issue for him. They will have the services of an experienced Robin Uthappa and IPL tested Manan Vohra to fill that spot. However, many believe the currently highly regarded Yashasvi Jaiswal may get the nod as well. They will accompany the hard-hitting opener, Jos Buttler, with captain Steve Smith at number three.

The middle-order will comprise of Sanju Samson, Ben Stokes, and the X-factor Riyan Parag. The Royals have had some issue with deciding the position for Samson, however, with openers fixed, he can operate in the middle order.

BOWLING – The bowling order, on the other hand, comprises of leg-spinners Shreyas Gopal and Rahul Tewatia. Both of them have shown potential with the bat as well. Also, they will have the services of mystery spinner Mayank Markande. Royals have opted for many T20 specific seam bowling options like Tom Curran, Jaydev Unadkat, and Andrew Tye. The attack will be led by Jofra Archer.

Some weaknesses being the Royals don’t have a lot of variety and experience in spin bowling. With the IPL being in UAE, spin will play an important role. Also, all the responsibility will be on Jofra Archer to provide wickets in the powerplay. Other bowler being known mostly for variations, will come into play later on in the innings.

However, overall with such massive changes, Royals look really good to get above the lower tier of the table. They will have to iron the loopholes as the season progresses.

Today, Philippe Coutinho has returned to Barcelona and has joined the team for the preseason training having thrashed his parent club out the Champions League in that humiliating 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich, where the Brazilian spent a season on loan with an option to buy, although the German giants never bought him even after winning the Champions League.

Things have changed a lot since that match – Abidal and Setien were sacked, a lot of new faces in the technical staff, Messi wanted to leave the club, and a lot more. In the meantime, the Brazilian is back at Barcelona to resume training for the preseason, the new coach Ronald Koeman is fond of Coutinho and his talent, so he wants to give him the natural role as a creative midfielder.

It seems true enough that Countinho will be staying at the club this season and play under Koeman, although, it will be interesting to see if he shines under the Dutch coach or not. Here’s the club’s statement regarding his return at the club:

“There was double good news at the Friday training session following the day off on Thursday. Philippe Coutinho has joined the preseason preparations, working out individually. The Brazilian, who as out on loan to Bayern Munich, was not due to report to the club until September 8 after playing (and winning) the Champions League with the German outfit, but he has decided to cut short his vacation and join the Barça squad.”

“Meanwhile, the rest of the players currently working under the orders of new coach Ronald Koeman were finally able to train as a group in accordance with the protocol set forth by La Liga. So, the team were able to enjoy traditional rondos and possession exercises as one at the Ciutat Esportiva, where they are due back for another session on Monday at 9.30am CEST.”

Predicting the most improved ratings in FIFA 21

FIFA 21 hits shelves in just over a month, globally. In an attempt to build up to the release of the latest title in the franchise, we predict 10 of the most improved ratings in the game.

In no particular order, they are:

1. Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund): 80 to 86

Sancho has shown once again that he is one of the brightest youngsters in all of Europe racking up double digits in goals and assists. A well-deserved upgrade to his FIFA rating for fans to enjoy. 

2. Mason Greenwood (Manchester United): 67 to 74

The 19/20 campaign has been the breakthrough season for the Manchester United Academy product. Fans would certainly want EA to give him a 5-star weak foot for his unbelievable talent. 

3. Brandon Williams (Manchester United): 61 to 72

Another United Academy graduate, the youngster has done well to replace first-team left-back Luke Shaw and has a bright future. At 11 points, one of the highest upgrades on this list. 

4. Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich): 72 to 79

The Canadian wonderkid won the UCL at 19. Something that not many can say they did. Davies is going to be one of the fastest players in the game, and will definitely have a massive potential. 

5. Bukayo Saka (Arsenal): 65 to 74

Saka has been part of Mikel Arteta’s new Arsenal, and the upgrade is going to please a lot of Arsenal fans. Expect Arsenal’s new no. 7 to start a lot of games this season as well. 

6. Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool): 80 to 85

He’s arguably the best right back in the world right now, and he has his sights set on captaining Liverpool as well as the England national team. TAA is going to be one of the most sought after players in the game without a doubt, and the jump in the rating shall seal that deal. 

7. Caglar Soyuncu (Leicester City): 74 to 82

The Turkish international has done a fantastic job of replacing Harry Maguire at the back. He is one of the main reasons why Leicester have been so good this year and EA should finally upgrade his rating to reflect on his real-life performances. 

8. Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes): 70 to 77

The Rennes midfielder has all the tools to one day become the best midfielder in the world. A boost in the base rating and huge potential is the recipe for being a must buy in career mode. 

9. Marcus Thuram (Borussia Monchengladbach): 75 to 81

Marcus Thuram has been a revelation for Gladbach this season. The youngster has a huge potential and will be a star in the years to come. An upgrade to his rating will definitely make him a fan favourite in career mode. 

10. Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund): 68 to 82

He scored a hat trick on his debut in one of the big five leagues and managed to be consistent throughout the second half of Dortmund’s season. Haaland is going to be the most in-demand striker in Fifa next season, ahead of many established names.
