The gaming world is buzzing with excitement as fresh Battlefield 6 leaks reveal a revolutionary new game mode called ‘Gauntlet’ – designed to compete directly with Call of Duty‘s Warzone dominance.

What is Battlefield 6’s Gauntlet Mode?

Serial leaker ‘temporyal’ has unveiled details about this innovative free-to-play battle royale mode that promises to shake up the genre. Unlike traditional BR formats, Gauntlet combines multiple mission types into one dynamic experience set on the California-based ‘Granite’ map.

How Gauntlet Mode Works

Feature	Details
Team Size	Squad-based gameplay
Mission Count	4 randomly selected objectives
Elimination	Lowest-scoring team eliminated each round
Victory Condition	First to reach points target in final mission
Map	California-based ‘Granite’

Mission Types Leaked So Far

The leak reveals eight distinct mission types that will keep players engaged:

Combat Missions:

Vendetta – Eliminate marked enemies or survive as high-value target
Contract – Hunt and eliminate enemy squads completely

Objective-Based Missions:

Heist – Capture intel from hostile headquarters
Extraction – Retrieve data drives for drone delivery
Wreckage – Plant bombs to destroy M-COM stations

Territory Control:

Circuit – Capture and hold strategic nodes
Deadlock – Secure multiple zones with your squad
Decryption – Find and decrypt enemy beacons

Game-Changing Modifiers

To amplify the excitement, missions feature special modifiers like Sudden Elimination (instant death on squad wipe) and Point Multiplier (double points in final minutes).

Why This Matters for Battle Royale Fans

Every successful BR needs companion modes – Warzone has Plunder, Apex offers Control, and Fortnite provides endless variety. Gauntlet could be Battlefield’s answer to breaking traditional BR monotony.

With EA’s official Battlefield franchise plans still under wraps, these leaks suggest the publisher is serious about challenging Warzone’s throne. The randomized mission system and elimination format create a unique twist that could attract both casual and competitive players.

While these details remain unconfirmed, the leak aligns with previous Battlefield 6 battle royale reports surfacing from ongoing playtests.
