Lenovo Legion smartphone box design and dual linear vibration motors

0

Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone is going to be launched in this month and recently the official Weibo handle of the smartphone brand has posted an image where it has showcased the gaming of the smartphone. The smartphone will use dual x-axis linear motors which should add new depths to in-game vibrating feedback. This will help in better gaming experience. This is a great gaming experience that a gamer can get, even the ouch sensation will work while playing a game.

Sparrows News has shown a unique video of the unboxing of the upcoming gaming smartphone. The box of the gaming smartphone in the video is the original box, but the smartphone in this video is Lenovo Z6 Pro. To give an idea of how the box will look like the video has been prepared. The packing is something extraordinary.

Last month we have seen that the smartphone has passed through the 3C certification. Lenovo’s Legion gaming smartphone is rumored to have a large heatsink as well as an active cooling fan which is required for cooling the high clocked CPU and GPUs within the smartphone making it easier for them to give a better performance. Keeping both CPU and GPUs cool at the same time and releasing all the heat generated while gaming will improve the performance. So we believe it can really make a difference, even in relatively short tests like synthetic benchmarks.

According to some previous rumors, Legion smartphone will come with 5G connectivity as suggested by China’s 3C certification website. It also mentions that the charger will go up to 45W even though earlier teasers suggested the phone will support 90W charging. It is also expected that there will be multiple variants of the Legion phone, but the company confirmed back in April that all variants would have 90W charging. The smartphone will also feature a display with a higher refresh rate.

Lenovo has been teasing its upcoming Legion Gaming Smartphone which according to Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster, will launch sometime in July. This smartphone is going to be a dedicated gaming smartphone as the company’s design and rumors suggest. According to the tipster, this upcoming Legion smartphone may outperform most of the Snapdragon 865+ chipset powered devices out in the market.

Samsung Galaxy M01s spotted with 3GB RAM in Official Support Page

Samsung Official Support Page reveals the upcoming budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy M01s. The landing page of the smartphone in the website mentions “Samsung Galaxy M01s (3GB RAM)” which indicates the 3GB RAM variant of the smartphone. The page mentions the model code SM-M017F/DS and it has also been spotted in different certification websites and reports.

The Support Page of Samsung reveals the code name of the Galaxy M01s where it is mentioned “DS” which refers to ‘Dual Sim’ and the site also mentioned that it will have a 3GB version. Except these two informations the website has not mentioned any other information about the smartphone. Well to think more deeply the company chose this version to appear in the website which clearly tells that it will be the highest version in case of RAM. For that case if 3GB is the highest RAM version of the device then it will be a cheaper in terms of price.

Samsung is also preparing to launch a few more smartphones of the Galaxy M series where the M41 will be the latest. Recently we have received the news that the M41 will have a battery capacity of 6,800mAh and it will definitely be the highest battery capacity for any Samsung smartphone.

The 8 core Ryzen 7 4700G spotted at benchmarks, gives Ryzen 7 3800X like performance

0

The upcoming Renoir seems everywhere around the internet as it approaches the launch period which we are all waiting for, hopefully within this or next month, we can see an announcement of this new generation APUs. We had a lot of leaks regarding these APUs and almost all of the specs are now known but what could be the real performance of these upcoming processors?

via Wccftech

This is the thing which everyone will look out for, now, help with that ITCooker (via Xfastest HK unit) has brought some latest benchmarks of the upcoming 8 core, 16 thread Ryzen 7 4700G APU. Also, the chip used is actually the final retail unit of the Ryzen 7 4700G APU, so undoubtedly, more or less this will be the final performance of the processor.

For a quick recap from the CPU-Z screenshot, the Ryzen 7 4700G is based on 7nm based AMD’s Zen 2 architecture. It features 4 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3 cache along with base clock speed of 3.60 GHz and boosts up to 4.45 GHz, which is alike to the previous leaks of the same APU.

Coming to the TDP, much like its predecessors, the 4700G too operates at 65W and features the integrated 7nm Vega GPU which comes with 8 CUs clocked at 2100 MHz, making this the fastest APU we have ever seen both from CPU and GPU power.

Now, we have the Cinebench R20 and Cinebench R15 multi-core performance results which were performed on an ASRock B550 Taichi motherboard with 16 GB of DDR4 memory. The 8 core Ryzen 7 4700G scores 5102 points in Cinebench R20 and 2168 points in Cinebench R15.

As Wccftech points out, the new APU matches the performance of its brother Ryzen 7 3800X with same 8 cores and 16 threads, managing to score around 5000 points in Cinebench R20 & 2100 points in Cinebench R15 benchmark, all of these are multi-core test results. This is huge because as we know the 3800X operates at 95W while the APU runs at just 65W.

Hyper Scape – The new Fast-Paced Battle Royale by Ubisoft

0

In the current gaming market, Battle Royales are in trend. Not only on mobile, but on PC, and other platforms too. In the case of the mobile version, Call of Duty: Mobile gets the most downloads in the first eight months. It is enough, I guess, to define the popularity. There is the same condition on PC, Xbox, and other platforms.

In this competitive market, Ubisoft comes with their new battle royale game Hyper Scape. It joins the race yesterday. All the basic things or facilities, you can think of in all battle royale games, are present in it. In a single game, there will be another 99 players you need to compete with. A team can be formed with a maximum of three members.

After landing to the battleground, you have to look for the weapons, medical kits, and all to eliminate enemies until you or your team become the last one standing there. Though, there is another way to win the game. Coming to that later.

Let’s have a look the Signatures that separate it from other battle royales –

GamePlay & Map:

First of all, the entire environment is not realistic, that other maximum of the games are trying to do. The field is basically a highly developed sci-fi city with plenty of buildings.

During the game, you will find tools or gadgets for ‘hacks’ like making yourself invisible, teleportation, armors, and more. To make the fights more challenging, Hyper Scape enables unlimited ammo, and each player location detection facility. You can also counter your enemies with two guns at a time.

Match Winning Process:

As all other battle royale games, here, you can also win by eliminating all your opponents. But it’s not necessary. You can win without taking all down and for that, you need to collect the crown. But it’s not that simple at all. You need to keep it for 45 seconds too. The crown appears a certain time before the game ends.

Respawn Beacon:

When you get a kill, you can see a respawn beacon to collect. It appears at the same place where the player was knocked down.

For now, Ubisoft rolled out the PC version of Hyper Scape only and that also is in Beta. There is no announcement for the stable version. But it will release this year later for sure along with the Xbox and PS4 versions.

Rather than playing, you can also observe the players’ game. There is no limited time for that. Hyper Scape already noted more than 500,000 viewers.

Liverpool set to sign Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara

Liverpool has already been crowned as the Premier League champions of the 2019-20 season. This win has ended their 30 years long wait for the top-flight title. Unfortunately, they have been eliminated from the Champions League by Atletico Madrid, so now they are focussing on planning for the next season.

The midfield of Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita are known for their energy rather than for their quality on the ball. Liverpool could benefit from the signing of a playmaker who can provide more quality on the ball.

Bayern Munich’s chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has admitted Thiago Alcantara is seeking a new challenge, and therefore he could leave the German giants at the end of this season. He is out of contract at the Allianz Arena in 2021. Bayern is reluctant to lose him for free. So they would rather sell the Spanish international this summer.

The 29-year-old has won 9 major league titles in his career so far. He won two LaLiga titles with Barcelona and has won seven Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich. He has also won one Champions League title during his time at the Camp Nou.

According to many reports, Liverpool has agreed on personal terms with the midfielder. They are going to pay €35m to Bayern for Thiago.

The La Masia [Barcelona’s youth academy] graduate would be a superb addition to Klopp’s squad if Liverpool could get the deal done.

Thiago Alcantara has been one of the best passing midfielders in Europe over the past few seasons. He still has 3-4 years left playing at the top level so he would definitely add more quality to the Liverpool midfield and strengthen their grip as one the European powerhouses.

Samsung seems to be skipping the 4nm process to head over to 3nm instead

0

The South Korean giant is known to make its own SoCs and has its own manufacturing plant as well where fabrication is actually done. In the recent years, Samsung has made huge progress, thanks to its R&D and its huge investments that have helped it to grow, back in 2017 the company announced its chip production plans, going from 10nm to a more refined 4nm process.

This year Samsung will be bringing 5nm based chips for its smartphones, whose mass production is scheduled to start from August. The Exynos 992 will be the first chip to based out of 5nm process and the Galaxy Note 20 series will be using the SoC for the first time.

A brand new report released by DigiTimes and imputed to business sources states that Samsung might be planning against investing in the node that is 4nm. Instead, the South Korean giant will leap from the 5nm procedure to 3nm which is the complete reverse of what TSMC is planning, and with its 4nm N4 process anticipated to be complete by 2023, it’ll provide the Taiwanese firm’s partners ample alternatives to choose from.

Samsung quietly lists Exynos 850 SoC for budget smartphones

TSMC has allegedly procured a $20 billion investment for its 3nm chip production centre, with a report stating that it should be operational by 2022. Although Samsung is the only maker that could keep up with TSMC with regards to technology, it carries on to lag behind with regards to progression.

TSMC has already secured orders from the likes of Apple, Qualcomm, MediaTek and previously from Huawei, although Samsung has appeared to have made some kind of ground. It had been lately reported that Samsung was given some requests to mass create 5nm processors for Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G modem. Some orders will allegedly be given to TSMC too so as to minimize danger, profit better pricing leverage, and total shipments in a specified time.

Samsung is expected to keep its 5nm production throughout 2021 when the company is rumoured to announce the Exynos 1000 series SoCs. While TSMC declared to be using 4nm process after 5nm and if Samsung somehow manages to leap ahead of TSMC it will attract more companies to use their manufacturing nodes.
