Today Amazon announced a Prime Video feature in the US for the co-viewing purpose. It is called ‘Watch Party’ that allows Amazon Prime Subscribers to watch any of the available content together at the same time. The control of the playback will be in the host’s hands.
The host’s activity on the playback will be directly reflected to the other screens throughout the session as all are synced there. Each time maximum of 100 users can join. All of them need to have a Prime subscription and location within the US during the Party.
Along with the viewing facility, there is also a chat section where the viewers can communicate with others through text as well as built-in emojis.
To start hosting a ‘Watch Party’ one needs to go to his/her favorite show page and select the Watch Party icon. The system will provide a link that can be shared with others to join the session. Point to note, this facility is available only to the web version (accessible through all browsers except Apple’s Safari). Other platforms like mobiles, TVs, tablets are not supported currently.
In the case of range, the ‘Watch Party’ facility is available across more than 70 Amazon Prime Video titles and they are adding more. But it would not be available for the rented or purchased titles.
This feature, probably, is in Beat format and may expand its availability after getting ready for the customers.

England all-rounder Ben Stokes says he hasn’t “dived into the whole idea” of captaincy yet, but will consider it a “huge honour” if he gets to lead England for a Test match.
Ben Stokes will take over as the captain Joe Root will be missing the test due to birth of his second child. Stokes is yet to get the confirmation of him being the captain.
“I haven’t really dived into it yet,” Stokes said during a virtual press conference. “For me, at the moment it’s all about preparing and getting to the level I want to be two to three days out before the first Test match starts. But I know, because we’ve got such a big squad at the moment that there’s so many players that you’ve got to keep your eye on. Because we’re in split training at the moment it’s tough to be able to see everybody.
Captain Joe Root is awaiting the birth of his second child, and so is expected to miss at least one Test during England’s upcoming three-match series against West Indies.
“I haven’t fully dived into the whole idea yet, on purpose. I’m just waiting for the right time to do that. It’s still a long way off, so when it gets a little bit closer and it’s 100 per cent confirmed I will be in charge, I’m sure the mindset will change.”

Moroccan right-back Achraf Hakimi is set to join Inter Milan from Real Madrid for a reported β¬50 million after spending 2 seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
Hakimi was photographed arriving in Milan on Tuesday to get a medical for the Inter transfer. A report in AS said the 21-year-old is about to sign a five-year contract with Inter.
A product of Real’s academy, Hakimi made 16 appearances for their first-team in the 2017-18 season, but his long term prospects were limited from the consistency of Dani Carvajal along with the signing of Alvaro Odriozola in 2018.
Hakimi has made 45 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 10 assists to help the team finish second in the Bundesliga. He has become a world-class right-wing-back at Dortmund.
Hakimi has published a farewell letter to the Dortmund fans on his Twitter account. He wrote: “The time has come to close a very beautiful stage in my life. After two wonderful years, I’m ready to leave this club that has given me so much joy.”

Inter Milan have agreed on a reported β¬40-50 million move for Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid. The boAt Airdopes 441 TWS Ear-Buds are wireless earbuds powered by Bluetooth 5.0 and are designed very well to fit in the ear. It has a very soft rubber ear tips which are adjustable with two pairs of dedicated ear tips that are given in the box. Both the earbuds are lightweight and each of them is slightly equivalent to two A4 papers combined. So they feel very comfortable with the designer rubber grip and the rubber support that looks like net is really comfortable in the ear. Overall it will not feel a burden on your ears if you are willing to wear it for a longer time.
The carry case has a very pleasant matt finish and has a Type-C charging port at the back of the case. The design looks very premium.

Barcelona announced on Tuesday that Getafe has taken up their purchase option to sign on-loan youngster Marc Cucurella.
The 21-year-old joins Jos Bordalas team for β¬10m and Barcelona hold the right to 10 percent of the transfer fee of the player in the future. The initial agreement was β¬6m + 40 percent of any future sale. But Barcelona has given up 30 percent of any future sale in exchange for β¬4m now.
Cucurella started his professional career in 2017 at Barcelona but ended up being sold to Eibar two seasons later after failing to break into the senior squad.
But surprisingly, the Blaugrana performed a swift U-turn and triggered the β¬4 million buy-back clause in the Spaniard’s contract only 16 days after his departure, before sending him directly on loan to Getafe for this current season.
Cucurella has played in all, but one of Getafe’s La Liga matches this season, picking up one goal and six assists along the way. The team had a strong campaign and is currently fifth in the LaLiga table.
It isn’t a major surprise to see him join Getafe permanently, although there were reports suggesting that Barcelona were thinking about bringing the left-back to provide cover for Jordi Alba.
Cucurella has been deployed on the left-wing under Jose Bordalas at Coliseum Alfonso Perez. He would have given a lot of versatility to the Barcelona manager if he returned to the Camp Nou next season. Given the amount of impact he is having at Getafe, selling him just for β¬10m seems to be a major blunder done by the Barcelona board.

Cucurella has been fairly critical of Barcelona’s treatment of youngsters. He explained in February how he felt the young players do not get the opportunities they deserve in the Camp Nou.
He now joins the list of youngsters Carles Perez, Abel Ruiz in departing this season, while speculation indicates Jean Clair Todibo might be following the exit door as well.
Cucurella had been linked with a transfer to the Premier League earlier this year, with Chelsea allegedly among his possible suitors. Barcelona will get 10 percent of the transfer fee if the versatile left-back decides to switch clubs again in the future.
