The transfer rumour involving Jadon Sancho and Manchester United has been looming large this summer. The Premier League club was said to have made Sancho their primary transfer target. Sancho also seemed to be interested in returning to his homeland.
The transfer saga has taken a sudden turn with Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc telling the press that Sancho will be staying at Dortmund in the upcoming seasons after signing a contract extension.
Michael Zorc told reporters on Monday: “Jadon Sancho will play for us in the upcoming season. The decision is final. I think that answers all your questions.”
“Last summer we already raised Jadon’s wage to fit his development. In connection with that, we extended his contract to 2023.”
Manchester United was hoping to sign Sancho this summer but had reportedly been unwilling to meet Dortmund’s €120m asking price. They thought they could reach an agreement with Dortmund but this contract extension has turned the transfer upside down.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replied when asked about Sancho: “I can’t comment on other team’s players, I can’t do that. You know that. I never do.”
According to various reports, Borussia Dortmund had set Manchester United a deadline on 10th August to submit a reasonable offer but it seems the Premier League club has not taken the deadline seriously.
Jadon Sancho who had a terrific Bundesliga campaign will remain in Germany for the upcoming season. He will now help Dortmund to challenge for the Bundesliga and Champions League titles next season.
Real Madrid has put forward a strong youth policy. The scouts identify the emerging talents at a very young age and sign them for the club and then loan them out to various clubs or keep them in their second-team.
Recent examples of these youth signings are Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, Reinier Jesus and Takefuso Kubo among many others.
Real Madrid signed Takefuso Kubo from FC Tokyo for €2m in 2019. They signed him on a five-year deal with a salary of €1m per season.
Takefusa Kubo was previously at Barcelona’s academy and has been dubbed the ‘Japanese Messi’. Barcelona tried to sign him in 2014 but had their efforts curtailed by a FIFA ban. The 19-year-old is considered as one of Asia’s most exciting young talents.
Kubo was sent to RCD Mallorca on loan for the whole 2019-20 season. He has impressed in LaLiga last season. He played 35 LaLiga matches last season scoring 4 goals and providing 4 assists.
Real Madrid has now made an official announcement that Kubo will be joining Villarreal on a one-year loan deal. They stated: “Real Madrid C. F. and Villarreal C. F. have reached an agreement over the loan of Takefusa Kubo for next season in a deal running up until 30 June 2021.”
Takefuso Kubo will now join Unai Emery’s side who will play in Europa League next season, so Kubo would also gain some important European experience. He will play alongside quality players like Gerard Moreno, Paco Alcacer, Samu Chukwueze, Ontiveros, Parejo, Coquelin, and Pau Torres among others.
Kubo considers Lionel Messi as his reference point. He said: “I didn’t know [Messi] in person but he is a reference for many young players who want to be footballers and also young players who are footballers. When I was young, I watched his videos. He is a great footballer.”
“He is a reference point for me and for many left-footed players who aren’t very tall and whose main characteristics are dribbling and the way they control the ball. Messi is the peak of that.”
Real Madrid consider Kubo as a long-term prospect so they are allowing him to get maximum game time by loaning him out to other LaLiga clubs.
There’s not much time left before Apple’s formal announcement of the upcoming A14 Bionic chip, which will first feature on the new iPhone 12 series, but now we have some leaks suggesting the performance of these flagship SoCs. Apple’s last-gen A13 Bionic chip is a true flagship and even the new Qualcomm 865+ that offers 10% better CPU and GPU performance than 865 cannot beat Apple’s chip. Despite all this, the exciting fact is that the new Apple A14 Bionic is coming and according to @komiya_kj Apple A14 will be almost 40% faster than A13 in CPU performance.
This is type of improvement is insane and not only on the CPU front, but also the new chip will deliver 50% better GPU performance than A13. Qualcomm even cannot come near to Apple’s performance, as the Snapdragon 865+ is already 25% behind Apple A13 in the single-core performance and so if this rumor comes out to be true then Qualcomm might face huge problems to keep with the Cupertino giant.
As mspoweruser points out, the upcoming Apple A14 Bionic chips might reach a mighty 3.1 GHz frequency, that is almost 400MHz higher than Apple’s A13. This is not unusual because shifting from 7nm process to TSMC’s 5nm should indeed give better performance along with greater power efficiency.
Overall, if the leaks are to be believed the next set of 5nm based Apple Silicon chip will be truly powerful and now as Apple will be using their own ARM-based chips for Macs, these performance gains might be game-changing for the company. Apple is one of the few smartphone-makers who make their own SoCs, so obviously there are a lot of expectations from them, hopefully we will get more info about these new A14 chips in the coming days.
AMD has launched the Ryzen 4000 APUs in 2020 and these processors have brought a new revolution in the laptop market. However, it seems AMD is not stopping just yet with its Ryzen 4000U/H mobile processors, they are well planned with their upcoming AMD Ryzen 5000 Cezanne Zen 3 APUs.
These new AMD Ryzen 5000 APUs have been leaked by our reliable tipster @_rogame wherein we see the entry of the integrated Vega graphics only. We see a SiSoftware database entry with reference to the “Celadon CZN Renoir” platform.
As per the leak, the upcoming integrated Radeon graphics will feature a total of 8 CUs and 512 shaders. Interestingly, the clock speed of the GPU is as high as 1.85GHz. This type of clock speeds we have already seen on the newer Ryzen 4000G processors and so AMD is capable of implementing that surely.
Although there’s a bump in graphics frequency by 100MHz but sadly, there’s no Navi integrated graphics but you get the same Vega graphics. The Coronavirus pandemic has dealt a heavy blow to economical conditions. Almost every organization has faced a financial crisis during this period. Due to this massive suspension, Formula 1 has made a massive revenue loss. According to a report by Inside Sport, Liberty Media released Formula 1’s revenue figures on Monday. Formula 1’s revenues crashed by a record 96% year-on-year during the 2020 Q2 period.
No race was held in the 2020 Q2 period. Revenue during that period was just $24m, compared to the $620m earned in 2019. F1 made a $14m profit in Q2 2019, but it has made a $136m loss in Q2 2020. The Coronavirus pandemic has heavily affected the Formula 1.

Liberty Media said in a statement: “Since there were no events held during the second quarter of 2020, revenue recognition was limited, with recognised primary F1 revenue in the period consisting only of the elements of sponsorship contracts associated with non-race related rights.”
As Formula 1’s revenues dropped by a massive 96%, they have also cut-off their expenses. They made no payments to teams during this period and saved $335m compared to last year. Other revenue-related costs also declined by 85% from $106m to $16m.
Liberty Media said: “Selling, general and administrative expense decreased due to lower personnel costs and lower discretionary marketing expenditures, partially offset by the effects of foreign exchange-related losses. F1 implemented certain cost-cutting measures in the second quarter, including the elimination or deferral of non-essential expenditures, salary reductions and lower bonus accruals.”

You may know, the US’s President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that restricts any transaction with the parent company of TikTok i.e. ByteDance. The victim company, then, probably planning to fight against this decision.
NPR reported about this plan and reveals TikTok may sue the US Government the earliest by this Tuesday and as per a directly involved lawsuit, this will be filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of California.
TikTok’s point is the US government didn’t give them a chance to respond which is unconstitutional. Rather, the reason for the ban is also baseless.
As per the source’s voice, “It’s based on pure speculation and conjecture. The order has no findings of fact, just reiterates rhetoric about China that has been kicking around.”
The White House is quite still and declined to comment on this report. Though one spokesperson Judd Deere said, “The Administration is committed to protecting the American people from all cyber related threats to critical infrastructure, public health and safety, and our economic and national security.”

OnePlus is working on its next OS and has named it H2OS11 which converts to “Hydrogen OS 11”. The OS is under development and will be revealed in China first on August 10 at 2 pm.
