A couple of days ago, the first look of the Vivo V20 Series was out of the box, confirmed 44MP Selfie camera, and the support of 5G. That means it was confirmed earlier that Vivo is going to launch its V20 series soon. But recently, official news about a particular smartphone of that series that came up, the Vivo V20 SE. This phone is pretty close to its launch date as its official promo teaser had already been outed.
So far, there is nothing officially confirmed whether the Vivo V20 SE will share the same design as the Vivo V20. However, we’ve come across some of its specifications for sure (Courtesy of its earlier Geekbench listing). Moreover, the X50 Pro model of Vivo has a gimbal stabilization. There is no confirmed news if the Vivo V20 would get the famed gimbal stabilization feature. Another confirmed news is this phone will support the 5G connectivity.
Now coming to the internal specifications of this phone. The Vivo V20 SE will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC, quite a handful of Vivo’s mid-range smartphones. This will feature the RAM variant of 8GB.
On Geekbench 5.2, the device has managed to secure a moderate score of 316 points and 1,377 points respectively for its single-core and multi-core performance tests. Looking at the specifications, it is quite similar to the Vivo S1 Pro. That’s why there is a possibility of the rebranding of that device which will make its entry with new color variants.

Chelsea had a very busy summer transfer market this season after completing a one-year transfer ban last season. To continue the process of rebuilding the squad Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has already signed some big names like Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva. Now they are interested to sign Eduardo Mendy from Rennes.
Chelsea has faced multiple problems in the goalkeeping position in the last two seasons. The performance of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero was not up to the mark. Kepa has faced a disastrous season last year. It was expected that Frank Lampard will try to end the goalkeeper problems this summer.
According to multiple reports in Europe, Chelsea wants to sign Eduardo Mandy before the season kicks off. Rennes president Holveck confirmed, “We’ve started official negotiations with Chelsea to sell Edouard Mendy. We know the player wants to leave [and join Chelsea]. But the agreement at the moment is not 100% completed between the three parts.”
Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano tweeted, “Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Mendy few days ago – new bid expected soon to complete the agreement with Rennes. Deal still expected to be done soon. No chances for Oblak as always said [Atlético will keep him].”

At first, it was rumoured that Chelsea is trying to sign Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid. But Atletico is not ready to sell their star goalkeeper. So Chelsea is now going for Mendy.
The 28 years old French goalkeeper has kept 13 clean sheets for Rennes in his 33 appearances last season. Chelsea has tabled a bid of 20 million euros which was rejected by Rennes as per some reports. Blues are ready to push up to 28 million euros.
The deal will be completed in next few days if both the clubs come to an agreement.
Infinix is all set to launch its new mid-range Android smartphone, the Infinix Hot 10. Though the company has not given any official poster or information about this phone, a promotional poster has been leaked featuring the specs of that device. Let’s just take a look at the leaked promotional poster for the upcoming Infinix Hot 10.
The leaked promotional poster of that phone has been spotted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo for the very first time. From the poster, we can assume the front and back look of the phone. At the front, it will feature a single punch-hole selfie camera at the top left side of the display and on the backside, this phone will have a rectangular camera module setup, which will house a quadruple rear camera setup and an LED flash.
The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the device and the SIM tray will be on the left side (expected). Looking at the poster, it is quite tough to assume what kind of fingerprint scanner the phone will feature. But we can assume that the Infinix Hot 10 will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Now coming to the OS part. This phone is expected to run on the Android 10 OS and will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 processor (as per the leaked promotional poster). There is no leaked or confirmed news about the RAM and the internal storage variants of the phone.
Regarding the pricing, there is no confirmed information about this. In that poster, we can see that the price of the device is mentioned, but since there is no currency symbol, we cannot really say for sure as to what country it will launch in. If we assume the price like >Rs.20,000, there is a pretty less possibility of it being China or India, as it won’t justify the processor in that price range.
Now that’s all about the information we’ve got from the leaked promotional poster. We will get to know more about this phone in the upcoming days for sure.
Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement from both international and domestic cricket last year. He last played for India in 2017.
But former World Cup-winning all-rounder has decided to come out of retirement to keep the request of the Punjab Cricket Association [PCA].
PCA secretary Puneet Bali approached Yuvi to come out of retirement for the benefit of Punjab cricket. Yuvraj is considering a return to cricket for his state at least in T-20 format.
In an interview with Cricbuzz Yuvi said, “Initially, I wasn’t sure that I wanted to take up the offer. I was done with domestic cricket, though I did want to continue to play in other domestic franchise-based leagues worldwide if I got permission from the BCCI. But I also couldn’t ignore Mr. Bali’s request. I gave it a lot of thought, for nearly three or four weeks, and it was almost as if I didn’t even have to make a conscious decision in the end.”
Yuvraj was recently working with Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabh Simran Singh, and Anmolpreet Singh in the last few days. While mentoring them in the net Yuvi found his playing spirit back again as well. PCA also wants him in the team for one more year. They think Yuvraj’s experience is highly needed in the team. It will eventually help all the other young players to shine more.
“I know he has written a letter to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly wanting to come out of retirement. We want him in the team and the way he mentored four young boys Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Prabh Simran Singh, and Anmolpreet Singh was exceptional. I told him that please give at least one more year of your life to Punjab cricket.”, Bali said.
Yograj Singh, Yuvi’s father is also happy with the decision of his son. “He is a giver. In these times, in the scorching heat, he trained Shubman, Prabh and Abhishek for five hours each day. The way he hit sixes at the new PCA stadium in Mullanpur, everyone wanted him to come back. If he plays at least three years for Punjab, he will give back at two 2 world-class players to Indian cricket. So he must play.”, he said.
It’s a very good news for the Yuvi fans. His fans are waiting to see him back in the crease again.
Reliance Jio is preparing to manufacture around 100 million low-cost 4G smartphones that will be built on the Android platform. Along with smartphones, data packs will also be bundled. Reports are saying these phones will come to the Indian market by December or early next year.
Hope you know, Jio and Google recently partnered to develop high-quality entry-level and affordable 4G and 5G enabled smartphones. Needless to say, all these will run on Android OS.
An analyst told ET that the jointly developed products can shake up the Indian smartphone market and challenge the dominance of Chinese brands that control over 80% of the market.
While partnering with Jio, Google pours $4.5 billion earlier. Along with Google, let you know, the US-based chipset designer Qualcomm also invested Rs.730 crore to Jio in return of 0.15% stake. That clearly indicates it is also working with Jio closely. So, we can also expect the upcoming 4G and 5G smartphone by Jio will be powered by Qualcomm SoCs.
Manchester United is currently focusing on their youth academy. They have been signing numerous talented youngsters for their youth academy.
United have turned their eye on Spain’s talents. They have already signed Alvaro Fernandes from Real Madrid and Marc Jurado from Barcelona. Now they have signed another youngster from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
The Premier League club has signed Alejandro Garnacho from Atletico. They had beaten off competition from Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid.
Garnacho wants to play for Manchester United in which his idol Cristiano Ronaldo began to stand out. So he has accepted the offer from the English club and signed a five-year deal.
The young striker is often described as Atletico Madrid’s ‘jewel’, but he may have to wait for his chance to break into the United first team.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer focuses on youth so he will feel there will be an opportunity on the horizon at Old Trafford.
The Taiwanese semiconductor foundry who is the leader in making silicon wafers for huge companies like Apple, AMD, MediaTek, Qualcomm, and NVIDIA, has finally shred some light on manufacturing of its much anticipated 5nm SoCs, thanks to DigiTimes. One of its biggest customer, Apple, is scheduled to launch its iPhone 12 series with the latest 5nm based Apple A14 chip built on TSMC’s wafers.
Not only will the iPhone 12 series but also all of their upcoming products like Apple MacBook Air, Pro 13-inch, iPad, and others will use the same chip built by TSMC. So, TSMC has a lot of work. So, it is set to start mass production of Apple Silicon in the Q4 of 2020, along with a monthly capacity of 5,000 to 6,000 wafers based on the new 5nm process node.

Apple is completely changing its entire game with its own chips that are said to be way faster than Intel’s at lower prices, so if you are an Apple fan, do wait before you buy an Intel-powered Mac. Both the Apple A14 Bionic and A14X chips are said to be way more powerful than last gen’s A13 that was already advanced than most other SoCs in the market.
It’s a challenge for the Cupertino giant to deliver better performance than Intel CPUs on its Mac devices that will slowly and steadily be replaced by all of its own chips in the days to come. Apple wants to build its own ecosystem of devices powered by its own SoCs built on the ARM platform running on its native OS to bring the best out of the hardware that they provide.
The defending champions definitely come across as the most in-form side in the Spanish top flight. Zinedine Zidane has completely transformed the way Los Blancos dictate their matches with his display in the 19-20 season.
While Real struggled to deal with the absence of Ronaldo under Lopetegui and Solari, Zidane has been the one to finally make the team work without their best goal-getter of all time. Let’s take a look at how the 2020-21 season will look like for the reigning La Liga winners.
Key Players
Karim Benzema
Eden Hazard
Toni Kroos
Casemiro
Sergio Ramos
Now, I’ll admit that it was difficult choosing the key players given the quality that Real have in every position. However, the top 5 I’ve finally decided on are some of the best footballers on the planet and can turn matches around single-handedly.
Although Eden Hazard has not been able to replicate his form at Chelsea at the Bernabeu, the first season is always a struggle when you’re in new surroundings. The 2020-21 campaign could be the season where Hazard shows the Spanish league exactly why he was the best player in the Premier League.
Winning Points
While it might be up for debate, Real’s biggest asset is a manager that likes to take it simple. When Zidane saw that Madrid were not the same offensive machine that they were in his previous stint at the club, he adapted to the strengths of the players.
In other words, he transformed Los Blancos into the best defensive side in the division. They conceded the least amount of goals en route to their 34th La Liga title, at just 25. Thibaut Courtois has finally found his feet at the club and the numbers prove it as well.
Challenges
Real Madrid’s biggest challenge lies in preparing for the future. Most of their best players are in their thirties. While it does mean that the side has a great amount of experience, the same faces will not be there for too long. The 2020-21 season must be a passing of the torch to the younger generation.
Young players like Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, Martin Odegaard, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. must show their best on the pitch. In addition, they must prove to the fans that they can deliver under pressure and that they have what it takes to be the best side in Europe.
While they have managed to sell James Rodriguez, Achraf Hakimi and Oscar Rodriguez they have also managed to send out the starlets to get some minutes under their belt. Cases in point: Brahim Diaz to AC Milan, Reinier Jesus to Borussia Dortmund and Takefusa Kubo to Villareal.
Credits: Real Madrid twitter
The only player in is Martin Odegaard, who impressed in his loan spell at Real Sociedad last season.
The only thing that they should be concerned about is their millionaire benchwarmer: Gareth Bale.
Now that is not to say that he is a bad player, quite the opposite actually. It is obvious that he doesn’t get along well with Zidane. In addition, he doesn’t want to stay at Real either as he has made it obvious in a recent interview.
The club would be wise to offload the Welshman for good this summer, after blocking his exit last season. Bale can be one of the best when he truly wants to be, and he isn’t in the mood for it at Real.
Although the challenges that Real face are not as daunting as a complete rebuild, they have enough quality to make it 35 this season. Zidane must give some thought to the future of the club during this campaign as well.
All in all, no other side in La Liga has the quality to compete with the extremely balanced Real Madrid that we are looking at right now. However, you can never truly tell in football.
Due to Covid-19, work from home and remote teaching has become the latest norm. With remote teaching opportunities exploding, Chromebooks have seen a surge in demand, especially in the SEA market.
Though Chromebooks are usually equipped with entry-level exponents, hence, they have fewer production costs. But recently many OEMs have been trying to manufacture premium Chromebooks and are trying to beef up their specs.
The beefing up of specs does increase the production costs of the Chromebooks. In order to combat this problem, MediaTek has taken the initiative in its hands. They plan to do so by releasing faster Chromebooks processors that are inexpensive to produce.
Mediatek in its latest announcement has stated that it will continue to further develop patents and hardware. The company terms the year 2020 as a bumper harvest for the Chromebook business.
At the latest Taiwan Education Digital Transformation conference which was attended by Quanta, Acer, MediaTek, and Google Taiwan, the senior vice president of MediaTek announced that it will continue to improve all of its Chromebook-related IP. This will help create more in-expensive Chromebooks in order to support the increasing demand, for the year 2021 and beyond.
Therefore, MediaTek’s cooperation with Acer, Quanta, and Google is a hope to leverage Taiwan’s solid foundation in the global IT industry.
What changes can be expected
Mediatek used a 28-nanometer 8173 processor its first-ever Chromebook, four years ago. But now MediaTek has announced that it will utilize TSMC’s 6nm 8195 processor in its Chromebooks which will be launched in 2021.
Unfortunately, MediaTek’s senior vice president did never tell us the exact specs for the new 6 nm SoC, however, he did mention that it will include powerful AI features. Reports suggest that the latest SoC will also be integrated with Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity to meet the demands for fast video streaming and video conferencing.
MediaTek said it will continue to deploy the Chromebook market in the future, especially under the impact of the epidemic. The Internet demand created by the home office, remote teaching, and the rise in demand for online teaching, this step by MediaTek is a great strategy to boost its industry SEA market.
