From the past years, what we have seen the biggest flaw of PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) is a very less amount of expense on what PCB has done for its domestic cricketers. The coaching problem is another issue of Pakistan’s cricket. That’s why from the past couple of years, the world is witnessing a dark stage of Pakistan Cricket compared to the age of Akhtar, Afridi, and even before the lethal bowling department of Pakistan by Wasim Akram and many others.
To get rid of this problem and to upgrade the cricket in Pakistan, PCB has announced an 83% pay-hike for the domestic cricketers. Now the top domestic cricketers have an opportunity to earn as much as PKR 3.2 million (Rs14 lakh INR) over the course of the season. This also includes a monthly retainer of PKR 150,000 (Rs 66k INR) according to the pay structure announced by the PCB on Tuesday.
“Once the lowly paid top domestic cricket performers now have the opportunity to earn as high as PKR3.2million, which is 83 per cent more than 2019-20, and as low as PKR1.8million, still a seven per cent increase from what the players in the highest category received last year,” PCB said in a release on Tuesday.
The cricket board of Pakistan has also announced a new pay structure, that will increase the domestic players earnings “more than seven percent” of what they received in the 2019-20 season.
“With each of the 10 A+ category players to receive PKR150,000 as a monthly retainer for 12 months and a match fee of PKR40,000 for National T20 Cup and Pakistan Cup each, and PKR60,000 for Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, players maintaining and displaying high levels of professionalism throughout the season will earn PKR3.2million.”
The board also added, “monthly retainer of D category domestic players is PKR40,000 but they will get the same match fee as the highest category player, which means any D category player who features in all the 30 First XI league matches will earn PKR1.8million.”
If we check the statistics, we can see that last year, the monthly retainer of all domestic first XI players.
White-ball cricket match fee: PKR40,000 Red-ball cricket match fee: PKR75,000
“The PCB is aware that Pakistan cricketers are not the highest-paid in the world, but it is our endeavor to slowly and gradually improve their contracts so that they can get the best returns for their talent and also plan their futures,” PCB Director Nadeem Khan said.
“I am confident that domestic cricketers will see these enhancements as a morale and confidence booster, and they will not only aim to perform better than last year but this will introduce an element of competition between these players in pursuit of improved contracts next year.”
The 2020-21 and enhanced monthly retainer structure is:
Category A+ = 10 players, PKR150,000 per month (66k INR)
Category A = 38 players, PKR85,000 per month (37K INR)
Category B = 48 players, PKR75,000 per month (33k INR)
Category C = 72 players, PKR65,000 per month (28k INR)
Category D = 24 players, PKR40,000 per month. (17.5k INR).
As AMD recently made it official that its new AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs based on Zen 3 and Radeon RX 6000 series RDNA 2 GPUs will be launching in October. One thing you should have missed is the short launch trailer that they posted on its Radeon RX twitter account and gives a sneak peek of its updated Radeon logo.
AMD #RDNA2 architecture and Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards will bring the best of Radeon to gamers worldwide. Learn more October 28. pic.twitter.com/CZJRxTBe6m
Yes, AMD is changing is Radeon logo to match with the same font that its “Ryzen” logo uses, and this was previously spotted already and we also reported that it will mark a new beginning for the company. AMD’s new RDNA 2 based GPUs will bring significant improvements over last-gen in terms of performance and most importantly use hardware-based Ray tracing which NVIDIA always brags about.
As per the leaks till now, Big Navi GPUs should come with a lot of memory like NVIDIA’s, a lot more shading units to implement ray tracing and huge bandwidth. The competition is a lot more exciting now as AMD is trying to edge NVIDIA with value and if somehow we can get Big Navi at less than $499 (RTX 3070’s price also Xbox Series X‘s price), then this can be a mouthwatering deal as well.
AMD’s GPUs has not been well received in comparison to NVIDIA, however, AMD wants to change this thinking with their advanced RDNA 2 architecture that will drive the next-gen consoles as well. So, it will be interesting to see how AMD competes against NVIDIA’s mighty Ampere and lure gamers, well, if you are a gamer then you have a lot of things to celebrate and choose for.
Dirt 5 has been delayed eventually again by three weeks. So, now the release date is shifted to November 6, 2020, from the month of October. The game is releasing on PC, PS4, and Xbox One consoles and it will release on next-gen consoles next year.
It’s not the first time the developers delayed the game. The developers have asserted on Twitter that- “DIRT 5 will now launch on November 6 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. #XboxSeriesX and #PS5 versions still launching later this year,” and also stated that “Our road trip just got a little bit longer. Thank you for being part of the journey with us”.
The game will be still available for early access three days before the game’s actual release. So, the users who made prepurchase will be able to play the game 72 hours before the release i.e. on November 3.
News: DIRT 5 will now launch on November 6 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. #XboxSeriesX and #PS5 versions still launching later this year.

If Dirt 5 gets delayed for the next-gen consoles as well, that could mean that Both Microsoft’s Forza and Sony’s Gran Tourismo currently have no scheduled release dates.
If the game gets delayed for the Xbox Series X and Play Station 5 as well, then that could be a major issue for both Sony and Microsoft, believing Dirt 5 is the sole major racing game that’s on-course to be released around the same timeline as the Xbox Series X and Play Station 5.
Dirt 5 is an upcoming racing video game developed and published by Codemasters. It is the fourteenth game in the Colin McRae Rally series and the eighth game to carry the Dirt title. Hoping that the game does not get delayed more. The game will also be launching in Google Stadia next year.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 is just around the corner!
IPL has always been like a factory, churning world-class talent for the Indian national team. Despite our Indian cricket possessing a robust domestic system like Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, etc, IPL has still launched cricketers to new heights. Many cricketers like Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Ambati Rayadu, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, and many more have been a find of IPL only.
Today we look at a few young upcoming cricketers who are expected to make their debuts in the upcoming season. If the proper investment is made upon them, they will definitely be seen in blue jerseys in the near future.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (Rajasthan Royals)
The 18-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal’s name stands apart as one of the upcoming cricketers to watch out for. The U-19 star was the best player for India in the U-19 World Cup. He was the highest run-scorer in the World Cup. He then made a record of becoming the youngest cricketer to score a List-A double century. He smashed an impressive 203 off 154 balls against Jharkhand in a Vijay Hazare match.
There was a biding war for the young man as he was signed by Royals for ₹2.4 Crore. We might see him get a start as well in the absence of Ajinkya Rahane.
(PC- Times of India)
Ravi Bishnoi (Kings XI Punjab)
Ravi Bishnoi, along with Yashasvi Jaiswal, was one of the finds of the U-19 World Cup. He was the highest wicket-taker of the World Cup.
Bishnoi’s quick bowling action will be extremely fruitful in T20 and especially on UAE pitches. He was bought by the Kings XI Punjab for ₹2 crores. He will be under the watchful eyes of India’s leading wicket-taker in tests Anil Kumble.
(PC- naidunia.com)
Priyam Garg (Sunrisers Hyderabad)
Priyam Garg happens to be another U-19 World Cup find. Garg was the captain of the U-19 World Cup team that steamed their way to the finals.
Garg has already played in tournaments like Ranji, Vijay Hazare, and Syed Mushtaq Ali at the tender age of 20. He also has a double century in Ranji Trophy, hence is fairly tested. He was bought by Sunrisers for a decent sum of ₹1.9 crores. He can provide assistance in the middle-order of SRH.
PC- CricShots.com)
Kartik Tyagi (Rajasthan Royals)
The U-19 talent continues to make their presence felt in the IPL auction. Another such young talent happens to be the medium-pacer Kartik Tyagi.
He has been playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for almost 3 years and represented India at the U-19 CWC. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals for ₹1.3 crores. He can be a key asset to the Royals’ bowling lineup along with Jaydev Unadkat as they have a lot of foreign seam bowling options.
(PC- DNA India)
Ishan Porel (Kings XI Punjab)
Ishan Porel showed immense calibre in the previous edition of U-19 World Cup as well. He is known for his pace and can bowl both bouncers and yorkers at will.
He was bought by KXIP for ₹20 lakh. Porel along with Mohammed Shami and overseas players like Mohammed Shami, Hardus Viljoen, Sheldon Cottrell, and Chris Jordan, will be a dangerous bowling lineup.
World-class foreign talent as well!
IPL is not only known for its Indian talent. Many foreign cricketers like David Miller, Shaun Marsh, and Chris Morris have made their place in national teams on the basis of their IPL performances.
Josh Phillipe (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
The 22-year old Aussie has been creating some buzz around the year. He was a part of Sydney Sixers that won the Big Bash League. Phillipe scored around 500 runs. RCB can use him in the middle-order and even as an opener in place of Parthiv Patel as Phillipe can keep as well.
Daniel Sams (Delhi Capitals)
Daniel Sams made a name for himself at the Big Bash League as well. Sams took 30+ wickets in the Big Bash League playing for Sydney Thunder. He can be a handy batsman as well.
Tom Banton (Kolkata Knight Riders)
The Englishman actually made his name from the Big Bash League. Banton was recently selected in the England T20 team against Pakistan. He made a quickfire fifty while opening the innings. Banton can also handle middle-order, hence KKR can use him sparingly in place of, maybe Eoin Morgan if he’s unavailable.
New AMD Ryzen 4000 CPUs based on Zen 3 coming on October 8th and Radeon RX 6000 series RDNA 2 GPUs to launch on October 28
Recently, we thought something is coming with, especially in the GPU segment when AMD planted an Easter Egg in Fortnite revealing the Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs and yesterday’s tweet from Frank Azor just confirmed the fact. So, it’s official and now we get to know that it was the reveal date that AMD announced today.
Its next-gen CPUs and GPUs will be launching in October, strangely the date of revelation coincides with Xbox’s pricing announcement. So, as expected, AMD will be launching its next-gen Zen 3 based CPUs on October 8 while launching the Radeon RX 6000 series RDNA 2 GPUs on October 28th.
AMD’s official account and Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD tweeted the new era of AMD:
A new era of leadership performance across computing and graphics is coming. The journey begins on October 8. pic.twitter.com/58I288iN30
Unlike NVIDIA who is hurrying to launch their GPUs as they fear that gamers will tend to go for the new Xbox Series and PS5 gaming consoles, AMD is having a gala time as these consoles will also be powered by AMD hardware. So, it has no hurry to launch their own CPUs and GPUs, and this is the reason they will launch them for the fall which coincides with the launch of the new gaming consoles.
Obviously, everyone is pumped up for both Zen 3 and Big Navi because as we know AMD is the price-to-performance king, so what it matters is performance improvements. Its new AMD Ryzen 4000U APUs are amazing and they are even facing hard times to match up with the unprecedented demand, so Zen 3 is exciting as well, on the other hand, its the Big Navi that has made NVIDIA announce the RTX 3070 for as low as $499.
A new journey definitely awaits for AMD and gamers prepare yourself a lot of AMD hardware in the form of CPUs, GPUs, and gaming consoles are incoming next month!!!
Outside China, T-Mobile’s LG Velvet is the first smartphone that is powered by a Dimensity chipset. The chipset is used by the phone is the Dimensity 1000C and most importantly it is a brand new chip of the flagship 1000-series. Now, let’s talk about the performance of that chip.
Recently, T-Mobile’s LG Velvet 5G appeared on Geekbench. It features the capability of the CPU, which has four Cortex-A77 cores, which are exclusive to the Dimensity 1000 chips while the 800 and 700 models use A76. The ARM claims that the A77 is 20% faster than that of the A76 at equal clock speed. The frequency is 2.0Ghz in terms of the Dimensity 1000C, which matches the clock speed of the A76 in the Dimensity 800. The vanilla 1000 runs its A77 cores at 2.6 GHz, the lower binned 1000L at 2.2 GHz.
We see only an 11% increase in single-core performance if we compare it to the Honor X10 Max result. The increasing percentage is 8% in the case of multi-core performance. Dimensity 1000C has also some extra advantages.
The Mali-G57 GPU has an extra core compared to the 800 chip. Theoretically, the core gives it 25% more performance (more or less, depending on clock speed). However, the other Dimensity 1000 chips use the more powerful G77 graphics core.
Apart from this, T-Mobile’s LG Velvet will come with the 6GB RAM variant. Regarding the availability, this phone will be available tomorrow on LG.com. The pricing of the phone is around $588. A monthly installment process is also available which is $24.50 per month.
From a couple of weeks, there has been a discussion about the Google Pixel 5 in the market. Google is going to launch this new phone in the upcoming days. Recently, there are a couple of images of the Google Pixel 5 surfaced in the media. A set of Google Pixel 5 renders has revealed the design in full last week. By those, we can get clearer information about this upcoming phone from Google.
There is a lot of mystery regarding the images of the Google Pixel 5. This phone could be called Pixel 5s too. It is confirmed that the phone will have a triple rear camera module with an LED flash. We can also witness the fingerprint scanner, which is on the rear side of the phone. That means it will have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It is also confirmed that this phone will feature a punch-hole design for the front-facing selfie camera. The front camera will be on the top left corner of the display of the phone.
One of the images shows the “About phone” menu in which the Pixel 5s moniker appears twice. For this, a number of tipsters are expecting a sudden change in the name of the smartphone that can be the “Pixel 5s”. There is nothing we can confirm about this phone looking at those images. The back panel also looks like a unibody chassis and there is no antenna lines insight. That’s why it is expected that this phone will feature a plastic build body.
