The upcoming Apple TV might come with 120 Hz support

According to a few reports, a new-generation Apple TV is in the making and we might see it launched very soon. This TV is reported to have an improved chipset and storage for better streaming for the users. We have always seen rumors of the new Apple TV but now 9to5Mac has found references to 120 Hz support in the tvOS 14.5 beta code.

This suggests that the upcoming Apple TV might sport a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. Terms like “120 Hz” and “supports 120 Hz” have been added to tvOS’s PineBoard in the latest build. This is a huge jump from the Apple TV which is sold in the market currently. It has only up to 4K video at 60 Hz support.

Due to hardware limitations, the current Apple TV cannot stream 120 Hz content. This is because of the HDMI 2.0 port which is not technically sounded to run a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. Now, we might see an HDMI 2.1 port that supports refresh rates on content up to 120 Hz. Not only this but it also an upgraded bandwidth up to 48 Gbps. Apart from this, it has a resolution of up to 10K, Dynamic HDR, eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and a few other features.

To better the streaming experience, a strong GPU and higher RAM capacity is provided to the TV. This helps the content of a high refresh rate to run smoothly. If these reports are believed to be true, we are set to see major improvements in features of Apple TV and this will delight all the Apple users. Although, these are still just some leaks and we should wait for more information and then reach a conclusion.

PUBG Mobile launching a new Karakin Map in which Bombs can even Destroy Buildings

PUBG is banned in India since the September of the previous year but the game is still played by many worldwide. PUBG is not only loved because it provides an amazing gaming experience but also because it keeps on bringing new stuff for the gamers. The new and evolving features in the game aids in keeping the interest of the players alive.

This is what motivates people to continuously play the game. In PUBG global version, a new Karakin map is going to be unveiled today on 7th April. This information, with a glimpse of the map, was shared on Twitter by PUBG Mobile themselves. Karakin is a 2×2 size map. It will make the game more exciting as this map offers very little space for the players to hide. Thus, it will be a very pacy game that will force the players to keep changing their strategies.

The only places where players can hide are the large boulders and some khandar-turned-houses and bunkers. But these are not-so-safe places as well. The new features will force players to keep changing their positions. The map comes with a Demolition Zone in which a siren suddenly starts bombarding the sky after the ringing. In other maps, in their red zones, the building was not destroyed much during bombarding but in this new Karakin map, even if the player is hidden inside the building, he will die due to the bombs.

Not only there are aerial bombs but also sticky bombs. These sticky bombs have the power to break the walls. Thus, even if you are behind the walls, you will be affected due to these bombs. A total of 64 players will be landed at one go but as the space to hide is very less, and also due to the demolition zone, you can expect the game to end much before than usual time.

Rumor: AMD’s Zen 3 based Threadripper 5000 could make its entry in August 2021

We have all been mesmerized and taken away by the performance of AMD’s amazing Zen 3 based Ryzen 5000 series. And as we enjoy the power of the desktop SKUs, it’s a fact that most of us are still unable to get our hands on the new SKUs due to the global semiconductor crisis.

As such, AMD also had to delay the release of its Zen 3 based Threadripper CPUs. However, this might finally be changing. According to a recent rumor, AMD is planning to release its Zen 3 based Threadripper CPUs in August 2021.

According to a leak provided by the leakster Yuko Yoshida (@KittyYYuko on Twitter), AMD will launch the next generation of Threadripper processors in August, meaning CPUs based on the Zen 3 architecture. The Ryzen Threadripper 5000 series (codenamed “Chagall”) is designed for professionals that rely on high-threaded workloads.

The currently available Threadripper 3000 series scales up to 64 cores (128 threads), Threadripper 5000 is expected to have at least this many cores, and they’ll be based on AMD’s refined 7nm+ design present in Zen 3.

However, the August release announcement is not an official announcement from AMD and instead is simply a leak, so it must be taken with a grain of salt. But, there is no use for the Threadripper 5000 whatsoever. And it seems that AMD is also keeping quiet about the new Zen 3 based CPU. However, AMD’s HEDT CPU line is due for an update, so we may see Zen 3 make its way to the monstrous Threadripper line sometime later this year.
