Swap deals will be more prevalent this summer as the financial situation of all football clubs are in question. So, new reports say that Barca wants to swap right-back Nelson Semedo for Manchester City’s Joao Cancelo in the summer transfer window.
According to , due to the coronavirus pandemic means clubs around Europe will be looking to swap players this summer and Barca are keen to bring the 25-year-old.
Semedo’s had an uncertain future for a little while and there was regular rumors that Barcelona are willing to offload him in the next transfer window.
The Portugal international’s devastating pace and dribbling has helped the Blaugranas many a times but his defensive duties have been questioned always. He has featured in 21 of Barca’s 27 La Liga games in 2019-20 and said in February thay his new manager Quique Setien has lot of trust in him.
Yet new report suggests that he could be replaced by Cancelo, who switched from Juventus to Manchester City in August 2019 but has struggled to make much of an impact at the Etihad Stadium.
Cancelo has only made eight Premier League starts since then because of their preferred right-back Kyle Walker and may welcome a new challenge if this sep transfer completes this summer.
It’s no longer secret! The Blaugranas are whole heartedly trying to bring the Inter sensation Lautaro Martinez as well their former Brazilian winger Neymar Jr.
Obviously the pursuit of Neymar and Lautaro Martinez continues to make headlines in Spain with the Inter Milan forward once again in the front page news.
Mundo Deportivo has reported that Barcelona believes that it will be easier for them sign the Argentinian this summer than bringing Neymar back to the Camp Nou from Paris Saint-Germain. Both will have high price tags considering the fact how crucial they are for their respective clubs.
Barcelona’s highest priority this summer will be to bring in a replacement for 33-year-old Luis Surarez. Martinez is the “chosen one” by the board and is liked by his captain Leo Messi, he himself also is only keen to move to Barca only.
The 22-year old is far more affordable than Neymar, who is considering one of the bests after Leo and Cristiano. Lautaro currently earns €2m at Inter Milan, while Barca are planning to offer him a lucrative €7m wage.
To have both of them on one side, Neymar will have to lower his wages significantly, considering the current financial crisis of the club, to achieve a move to Barcelona. He is said to aksing a salary of €36m.
MD also reckons the fact that age may play a key factor in Barcelona’s decison. Neymar has turned 28 in February, while Martinez is still only 22, Barca will try to bring both of them but if they have to choose any one of them, the current situation will urge board to bring Lautaro only.

According to some new reports Google has partnered with Samsung in a project of making a custom Exynos chipset for them (Google). It is said that Google had explored several alternative vendors then after checking and comparing everything the company has decided to go with the Exynos chipset, which also has gained popularity in the market.
The custom Exynos chip will feature two Cortex-A78, two A76, and four A55 cores. The GPU will be a Mali MP20 based on a new architecture from ARM, code-named Borr. The A78 and Borr cores are yet to be officially announced. The Cortex-A78 will be very powerful even more than A77. The chip will reportedly be built on Samsung’s 5nm EUV node. Even though we have talked about a 3nm chip that Samsung was preparing to make and got delayed due to COVID-19 may also be linked with this project.
The “custom chip is said to feature Google’s Visual Core ISP and NPU on board (replacing Samsung’s designs)” according to GSMarena. If this happens all the Google photos that took time to render and processing, YouTube videos that need transcribing, language translation from phones and the Chrome browser and even in some other works as well, it will be able to do everything in a more reduced time.
Some reports also claim that even Facebook can make use of the Exynos chipsets in their upcoming Oculus AR and VR products.
Realme got a certification for another smartphone, this time they are working on a smartphone from the X series. The smartphone is rumored to be the next next X series device which surfaced with the name Realme X3 Super Zoom. The SuperZoom model is supposed to be the advanced version of the Realme X3 on which the company is working. We spotted this on Thailand’s NBTC certification website but this time, we have a name attached to the listing. The listing only mentions the model number RMX2086 and the corresponding name attached with it and some few minor details about the brand and device.
Now coming to Geekbench listing we saw there are two listings with the same model number and surprisingly both are done on the same day and if you think it is a mistake then, to be honest, they are not mistakes. Both the listings have different single as well as multiple scores which are quite surprising. The first listing shows a score of 792 for a single-core and 2507 for multi-core, another listing shows a single-core score of 788 whereas a multi-core score of 2624.
The phone has also been certified in India back in February and the company’s CMO Francis Wang confirmed that the X3 exists in a tweet, where he said that the phone will hold the crown of X series. He also said that he does not know when the phone is going to come due to the present lockdown situation in India amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Don't wait for X3 as I am also not sure when it can be launched due to the current situation. Though it's an amazing phone, it holds the crown of X.
Bruno Fernandes has quickly become a key figure since arriving at Manchester United from Sporting CP in January in a deal worth £67.6million (€80m).
He has proved to be a perfect fit for the United midfield along with Fred and McTominay. When Paul Pogba returns from injury it will add another dynamic to their midfield.
The Portugal international is yet to taste defeat in his 9 appearances for the club. He has already scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists. Fernandes has injected energy to the United team. He is always looking for the ball to try and force his way into the opponent’s box or finding a teammate.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed Fernandes from the very beginning since he arrived at Old Trafford. Fernandes said he would have been ready to give “200 per cent” to force himself into the manager’s plans in different circumstances.
Bruno Fernandes told: “For me, the most important was obviously the confidence of the coach. I need to know I am backed from the coach, because sometimes when you change club, not every time the coach wants you. Not like I need to come because the coach wants me to play, no, not like this, but I want to feel the confidence from the coach: ‘You come, you are a choice for me and you come. I need you, I want you.'”
“It’s not like you come and I ask, ‘But I will play?’ No, this for me is not the point. For me, the point is the confidence he has in me. If he has confidence in me, then the rest is working.”
He further added: “I feel the confidence from the club and I feel also the confidence from the coach, Ole, and also if maybe the choice was not from the coach, I come. I come and I will show to the coach I can play, I can be a choice for him because sometimes you need to press yourself to be better and give more.”
“Maybe if I come and I am not the choice for the coach, I will know I need to give not 100 per cent, 200 per cent because the coach needs to see, he needs to see me, he needs to understand that I need to play, I want to play more than the others. In your mind, you want to play more than the others, but the others are thinking the same way with you.”
“This is the confidence we need to have to keep improving, to keep training more and the healthy battles you need in the team. You are competing with someone, this one, this one and this one. You need to give more than him and he will be thinking the same way with me and then, if you’re thinking the same way, you can be much better. Me and him.”
“It doesn’t matter who plays, you will train better, I will train better and so the team will be better.”

Spain has been badly hit by the Coronavirus pandemic. The clubs are facing financial crisis as they have stopped receiving matchday earnings and sponsorship fees.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have already put the wage reduction schemes in action to ensure all the non-playing staffs are paid 100% of their salary.
According to AS, Real Madrid were holding off from drastic cost-cutting measures as the board considered the club’s financial position to be strong enough to withstand the initial impact of the pandemic.
But now, Real Madrid has followed the same path, though they have implemented minimum wage reductions. The players and coaches from Real’s first-team football and basketball squads along with other main executives have voluntarily agreed to lower their salary. They will forfeit between 10% to 20% of their wage, depending on how circumstances impact the finalising of the 2019/20 campaign.
Real Madrid released a statement: “The wage reductions will be between 10 and 20 per cent depending on the circumstances that may affect the closing of the 2019-20 season. This decision, taken by players, coaches and employees, avoids traumatic measures that affect the rest of the workers, as well as contributing to the economic objectives of the entity in view of the decrease in income that it is suffering these months as a result of the suspension of competitions and the paralysis of a large part of its commercial activities.”
“The club’s business committee strongly supports this decision, which it considers responsible and exemplary. Real Madrid is proud of all those who make up this great family and of its unwavering culture of values, which is especially valuable in difficult times such as these.”
“In the same way, Real Madrid, its members and fans, want to show all their love and solidarity to those who have suffered the direct consequences of this disease that is hitting us all, especially those who have lost a family member or loved one.”
“The club wishes a quick recovery to all the sick people and wants to transmit its deepest gratitude to all the people who are playing an essential, exemplary and solidary role in the fight against COVID-19.”
“From Real Madrid, we offer all our support and strength with the conviction that together we will overcome, without a doubt, this difficult moment.”
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos wrote on Twitter: “From the first moment, my opinion, you know me well, is this: if we can help the workers and areas of the club, I see it as logical to renounce part of our salary, something that could be proven today.”

LG has revealed a new minimalistic smartphone design language more like an sketch of a smartphone they are working on. The design is said to be inspired from the nature where the rear camera sensors are inspired from rain drops, as the cameras sensors are getting smaller from top to bottom. The main camera sits slightly above the surface while the other two lens lie seamlessly under the smooth glass. This tactilely pleasing design layout offers the added benefit of taking up less space on the rear of the phone for a cleaner, sleeker overall look.
Another noticeable design is the 3D Arc Design which shows the symmetric curves at the sides of the smartphone which will help the phone to stay comfortably in the hands and will give natural feeling in the hand than previous LG phones. This design also gives a smooth edge designs for the smartphone which looks more natural than sharp edged designs.
Cha Yong-duk who serves as LG’s head of Mobile Communications Design said that handset will be a first-look at the competitive edge we will be bringing to every LG smartphone going forward. He also added “Our upcoming smartphone will draw on the rich history of classic LG designs which have always been distinctive at first touch,” which means this will be a new design.
LG has also confirmed that they are going to launch a new series of smartphone to replace the “G” series where smartphones of different price range will be available including a dual screen smartphone to replace the LG G8x ThinQ.
Premier League clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have been heavily criticised for taking advantage of the government’s furlough scheme. Instead of using their own resources, most of the top-flight clubs have wealthy owners, they have placed their staffs on furlough scheme so that they receive 80% of their salary.
Liverpool also made that decision of placing their staffs on furlough scheme but after their former players questioned the decision, Liverpool has changed their decision and will now pay their employees themselves.

Southampton released a statement for their fans. They are the first Premier League side to announce an agreement on wage cuts.
The club statement read: “The board of directors, the first-team manager, his coaching staff and the first-team squad have agreed to defer part of their salaries for the months of April, May and June to help protect the future of the club, the staff that work within it and the community we serve.”
“Furthermore, the club can confirm that it will not use the government’s Job Retention Scheme during April, May and June. Our owners, Mr. Gao and Katharina Liebherr, have put measures in place to ensure that all staff not deferring part of their salaries will continue to receive 100% of their pay, paid in the normal way until 30th June. Any decision on the future beyond this date will be made in advance of this, but only when more information is known.”
“Everyone at the club remains fully committed to the community we value so highly in Southampton. We will continue to offer our full support to the city of Southampton through the work of the Saints Foundation and provide any further assistance we can.”
“Meanwhile, we will continue to prepare our club for a return to the pitch and make sure that, when safe, we are ready to play and serve the people of Southampton again. Until then, We March On. Together.”
This is a very good gesture from a top-flight English club. Southampton’s non-playing staffs will continue to receive 100% of their wage until at least 30th June.
