Carles Perez says Barcelona ‘prefer to spend millions’ than trusting their youngsters

0

The former Barca player, Carles Perez has spoken rightly about his former club, saying he did not understand why Barcelona allowed him to leave in January which is very true.

Even though Perez couldn’t impress that much like his teammate Ansu but yes his talent was rushed upon giving him no time to prove and show the exit door in January. It has become the habit of the Blaugranas to “spend millions” than trusting their young players.

Carles Perez says Barcelona ‘prefer to spend millions’ than trusting their youngsters

Let’s not forget some of the key performances of the 22-year-old who did have plenty of game time in the first team in 2019-20. Even though he scored three goals, but was allowed to depart in January for Roma.

Also the former manager Valverde was not good at raising the youth frankly, that led Barca loaning Jean Clair Todibo, Moussa Wague, Carles Aleñá and Marc Cucurella. Under Setien things have changed, the manager is showing more faith in players like Riqui Puig, Álex Collado, Ronald Araújo and others.

Perez has made seven appearances for the Serie A side, scoring his first goal against Gent in the Europa League. He has lately been talking about his time at Barca:

Carles Perez says Barcelona ‘prefer to spend millions’ than trusting their youngsters

“I’m only thinking about succeeding at Roma,” he said.

”I have four more years on my contract and I’m focused on that.

”I didn’t understand my exit, but I respect the decision and thank the club for their treatment of me over the years.

“People talk about the academy, but sometimes they prefer to spend millions and don’t have patience with young players. That’s how it is. People have to forget my past there.”

Obviously, the departure of the youngster was a huge blow for Barca because during January injuries to Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele weakened the attacking options of the team which ultimately forced the board to sign Martin Braithwaite as an emergency transfer.

One of the characters in the series is Helsinki. The role is played by actor Darko Peric. He is a huge Barcelona fan.

Yesterday, Barcelona live-streamed a video in which Helsinki cast the Barcelona players in Money Heist.

Peric said: “If the Barça players were actors in La Casa De Papel, then Messi would be like The Professor. He’s also calm like him.”

“Denver could be Griezmann and Tokyo would be Suárez. Rakitić could be Berlin and Piqué would be like me, Helsinki.”

“I bet Vidal would work as an actor in La Casa De Papel because of his haircut and punky look.”

AMD Ryzen 9 4900U APU appears on UserBenchmark

0

The Red team’s product lineup doesn’t seem over yet, a couple of months ago the Ryzen 9 4900U was spotted in the datasheet for a Lenovo Yoga Slim notebook. Now, the Ryzen 9 4900U APU has appeared on theUserBenchmark as part of a system labelled “AMD Ted3-RN”.

After the launch of the impressive Ryzen 9 4900H and 4900HS we all anticipated for a Ryzen 9 4900U to be official, and now the leaks of it clearly indicate the fact AMD is waiting to reveal its new efficient as well as powerful 8 core APU to counter Intel’s latest offerings.

Again the tipster @TUM_APISAK has discovered the processor on UserBenchmark, quite surprisingly it’s actually is listed as “AMD Ryzen 9 4900U Graphics”. The APU features 8-core, 16-thread part (FP6 socket) with a base clock of 1.8 GHz and a boost of up to 2.35 GHz which is not true, the turbo boost clock could actually reach around 4.3 GHz.

Unsurprisingly, the operating TDP remains between the range of 10-25 W. The UserBenchmark results for this Ryzen 9 4900U APU in this AMD Ted3-RN system aren’t that much satisfying maybe because of the low boost clocks which speculates it to be an engineering sample.

Although the 1-core score of 136 points and a 2-core score of 198 points are quite promising. With more tweaks and tuning the Renoir APU might be more powerful and what it remains clear that we will get a powerful Ryzen 9 as well in the Ryzen 4000U lineup as well.

First photo Shot on Microsoft Surface Duo shared by Microsoft’s Executive

Microsoft announced the Surface Duo last year in the Microsoft Surface event. The Surface Duo is the miniature version of the Surface Neo which was also announced last year in the Surface event alongside Duo, and Duo is the smartphone version and Microsoft’s vision of how a dual-screen device should be.

Microsoft Surface Duo is dual screen smartphone with 5.6-inches display sizes. It has only one camera which is inside the device or can be called the selfie camera and there is no rear camera or on the outer side of the device. The device supports the Surface Pen and the company confirmed that Duo will run a Microsoft-skinned version of Android. This is all the specs we know so far for the dual screen device as Microsoft has not has not declared most of its specs yet.

Today, Panos Panay, Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer posted an image of him in his official Instagram handle showing his “Work From Home” routine and also said that it was shot by his son, Costas. Now coming to the main thing, we have seen in the promo video of Microsoft Surface Duo that the device has no external/rear camera so it is safe to guess that the image is shot from the internal/front camera.

The image quality of Duo is not at all bad, even though we know that Instagram has done manipulation with the original image, which is more likely to be some more detailed. The exposure of the image is very appreciable, even though it is shot indoor, it has decent colors and dynamic range. Till now we can’t decide exactly how good or bad it is, as Microsoft has already promised us to give a “world-class camera”.

Microsoft planned to launch the Surface duo on 2020, but few days back we got some news that the company will be launching the device ahead of pre-mentioned launch date and will pack in 2019 features. But we can see that that was a mere rumor, the company hase;nt launched the device yet and has not mentioned any official launch date amid COVID-19.

The Spanish clubs could lose €1 billion if LaLiga gets cancelled

0

The La Liga president Javier Tebas has openly admitted that the Spanish league teams could lose as much as €1 billion if the season is unable to restart. Spain is facing the worst time in the pandemic with over ten thousand deaths and over one hundred thousand affected.

It is very unlikely for the league to resume even if it is held in closed doors, the clubs are bound to loose a lot of money. Currently, La Liga as well as the lower tiered Spanish leagues are suspended until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The primary loss is in income due to the matchday revenue being lost, and also the loss of broadcasting and advertising deals. Tebas has ensured that they aren’t planning to cancel the season entirely.

“If we don’t resume, the economic impact on Spanish clubs, including money from European competitions, would be worth around €1bn.”

“That figure is not just based on league revenue, but also includes money teams won’t get from Champions League revenue.

“The losses will be €300 million if games are played behind closed doors and then €150m if we resume with fans because of the damage that has already been caused.”

Tebas | Source

Javier Tebas has also spoke about when the season can resume and clarified that they could restart on“May 28, June 6 or or even up until June 28” depending on the situation of this pandemic.
