With Borussia Dortmund ready to offer Jadon Sancho a new contract, it is unlikely he will be joining Manchester United this summer. Although the 20-year old is the top target for United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, it looks like he will remain a Bundesliga player for at least one more year. According to The Mirror, Sancho will receive a pay rise and will stay with Dortmund until next summer.

With Sancho most likely out of the picture, let’s have a look at 4 other Man United transfer targets who might join the club during the summer transfer window of 2020.

The Olympique Lyon player is reportedly enjoying interest from both Man United and Arsenal. The striker has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several years. Last year, when Romelu Lukaku left for Inter Milan, the France international was one of the potential replacements but ultimately Ole Gunnar Solskjær chose to give Marcus Rashford a chance as his number 9. Because of the impressive form of Mason Greenwood, it is getting less likely Dembele will join United this summer, and once again the plans to sign Moussa Dembele seem to have been shelved for another year.

According to the latest transfer rumors, Man United will attempt to bring Porto defender Alex Telles to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window. The one-time Brazil international scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists in 49 appearances with Porto last season. If he joins United, the defender would serve as an alternative for the left-back position as Luke Shaw was out with an injury the first half of the season and Brandon Williams is still too young to carry the team the whole season.

According to insider reports, a couple of weeks ago, Manchester United have made an approach to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Though The Red Devils are not the only Premier League club interested in acquiring the former Genk player, also Chelsea is looking to make a bid for the Serbian international.

It’s not the first time that the 25-year has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, also former United manager Jose Mourinho showed interest in adding the player who was actually born in Spain. Rumors are that Ole Gunnar Solskjær sees the Lazio player as the ideal signing to complement Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes in his midfield.

Another former KRC Genk player could be moving to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window of 2020. According to The Telegraph, Napoli is willing to sell the central-defender for around £70million, as they need the money to pay for Lille striker Victor Osimhen. The Senegal international has been linked with a move to Man United and this summer it looks like the transfer will finally materialize.

The Red Devils need to strengthen their backline after it became clear record transfer Harry Maguire can’t be counted on and defensive reinforcements are needed at Old Trafford. Man City are also looking to add a central defender to their squad so we might see a bidding war between the two Manchester clubs this summer.

The Tokyo Olympics was supposed to be held in 2020. But the massive outbreak of COVID-19 has turned the world upside down. The whole world went into lockdown in March. Fortunately, things are looking bright as things are about to return somewhere back to normal.

All the major sporting activities have been postponed. Euro and Copa America have been postponed to 2021. The Tokyo Olympics has also been postponed by a year to 2021.

The new date for the Tokyo Olympics is 23rd July to 8th August 2021. Team India has been already started preparing for the mega event.

INOX Group will be the official sponsor of Team India at the Olympics. They will support the Indian team.

Indian Olympic Association (IOA) secretary general Rajeev Mehta and INOX Group director Siddharth Jain announced on Thursday about the agreement.

According to the PTI, INOX will support the Indian team’s promotions through its entertainment company – INOX Leisure Limited – which owns several cinema complexes in India. It will promote the spirit of “Ek India Team India” among all the Indians so that they will cheer the team at the Olympics.

INOX Group Director, Mr Siddharth Jain said: “INOX Group has always assigned priority to India’s all-round progress. We are honoured and privileged to be able to support India’s Olympic dream through this prestigious association with the Indian Olympic Association. We look forward to the Indian contingent scaling new heights in the next Olympics.”

IOA Secretary General Mr Rajeev Mehta said: “We are happy to announce this partnership with INOX Group which will be beneficial for all our athletes and the organisation. I would like to thank INOX Group and Mr Jain for showing their support for Team India, even under the current circumstances.”

India won one silver and one bronze medal at the Rio 2016 Olympics. The last gold medal for India was won by Abhinav Bindra in the men’s 10-metre air rifle at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Team India will hope to win gold medals at the next Olympics to make the entire nation proud.

Official: MS Dhoni announces his retirement from International cricket

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of India’s finest captains has announced his retirement from international cricket. He has posted on his Instagram account confirming his decision.

Dhoni had already retired from Test cricket back in 2014. But he continued to play in ODI and T20 matches. In 2017, he stepped down from the Captain of India and played under Virat Kohli’s leadership.

But on Saturday 7:29 pm IST, Dhoni declared that he has retired from International cricket, meaning he won’t play ODI and T20 matches again for India.

MS Dhoni wrote on Instagram: “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”

This a sad news for all the Indians as Dhoni has brought home numerous trophies. He has won the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup and the Champions Trophy in 2013. He also took India to the No 1 position in Test cricket.

This will be a huge loss not only for India but for the whole cricketing world.

Although, MS Dhoni will continue to play for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. The 13th edition of IPL is scheduled to take place in UAE from 19th September. BCCI has decided to take it outside of India due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Now, there are leaks saying this upcoming MateBook X 2020 will come with a pressure-sensitive trackpad. If so, it will be the first Windows laptop. This news is firstly revealed by a blogger called 看山的叔叔 on Weibo.

Earlier, only Apple MacBooks have this pressure-sensitive trackpad from 2015 and named “Force Touch”. Even the company implemented the same clicking experience in it by vibration motors. Not only in MackBook’s Force Touches, but Apple applies it to its iPhones’ home buttons also. You may notice it on iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, and SE 2020.

It’s not sure whether Huawei will include a linear motor or not, but may use Synaptics ZPad – displayed with haptic functionality at CES 2019.

The authenticity of this leak is yet to verify, for that we have to wait till 19th August.

The 2020-21 football season is fast approaching. All the football clubs have been busy planning for the next season. Almost all the clubs have released their football kits for the upcoming season.

Premier League club Manchester United has already released their 2020-21 home kit. They have kept their traditional red colour but have gone for a unique textured pattern print for the jersey.

Now, United have unveiled their new away kit for the 2019-20 season. They have gone for black and has kept the same unique texture like their home kit.

Manchester United’s kit manufacturer Adidas has done a good job this time by bringing some unique style.

Manchester United wore their new home kit for the first time on in their Europa League last-16 second-leg tie against LASK.

Now, United will wear this away kit in their Europa League semi-final match against Sevilla. United are expected to win the Europa League this season after finishing third in the Premier League.

Now, Premier League has officially announced that Jurgen Klopp is the Manager of the Season for 2019-20.

Liverpool has ended this season on 99 points, 18 ahead of second-placed, Manchester City.

They have scored 85 goals in their 38 league matches, while they finished the season with the best defensive record in the Premier League after conceding 33 goals.

Jurgen Klopp also became the 2nd fastest coach to reach the 100th Premier League wins milestone. He has done so in just 159 games. He has achieved this ahead of Premier League’s iconic managers, Alex Ferguson (162), Arsene Wenger (179) and Rafael Benitez (181). Only Jose Mourinho achieved this feat ahead of him in 142 matches.

Klopp has done an extraordinary job at Anfield and he deserves every bit of this award.

Indian variant of Redmi 9A cleared Wi-Fi Alliance certification with Android 10 & MIUI 12

The Redmi 9A has launched a month ago along with Redmi 9C and the phone was not briefed about the international launch. The phone has been spotted in the WI-Fi Alliance certification recently and is expected to be the Indian version. Redmi 9A is another addition to the Redmi 9 family and will be a toned-down version of the Redmi 9.

In the certification, spotted by Sudhanshu, the phone will come with MIUI 12 based on Android 10. The model number of the phone is M2006C3LI.

The phone will run on MediaTek Helio G25 chipset processor. This is a 12nm process technology, that is up to 2.0GHz. The phone will be available in 2GB LPDDR4X RAM along with 32GB storage. The phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery which can be charged by a 10W charger provided in the box. It will have a triple-card slot for two sim-cards and one memory card.
