Realme Buds Q launching on June 25

Finally, Realme has revealed the launch date of the Realme Buds Q in India. The company has decided to launch the Buds Q on June 25, 12:30 PM onwards along with the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom. On the same day, Realme is launching two new smartphones of a series and a wearable sound device.

The Realme Buds Q was made official for the first time in China last month when the brand launched its first smart TV. A few days ago officials had also revealed that the Realme Buds Q will be available in India under Rs.2,000 price range. Realme is clearly trying to compete with the Redmi Earbud S.

We know pretty much everything about this device and the main feature of this device is that it comes with a 10mm driver said to be largest in an audio device at this price range. It is very much safe from the water and dust splashes because of the IPX4 rating. Also, it is a 119 milliseconds latency rate holder. Needless to say, it is connectable with your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0.

The company says this TWS earbud can provide 20 hours of continuous music playback time in one single charge. In the matter of the charge, the case has 30W fast charging support. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have any wireless charging facility, only the wired charging is available through the micro USB port.

For the ‘Quick Control’ ability, the user can manage to navigate the currently playing music. There are double, single, and dual touch controls available. That means, the user has a smooth touch control over the music play, pause, and skip. The most interesting fact is the buds are weighed 3.6 grams which makes it lighter than an A4 paper. Along with the case, its weight becomes 35.3 grams in total.

FIFA 21: EA Sports has confirmed the release date with Mbappe and Hazard likely on the cover photos

EA Sports, the developer of the famous game FIFA, has officially confirmed the release of the next instalment of this FIFA franchise, FIFA 21. They have given us a sneak peek of FIFA 21 in EA Play Live on 18th June.

FIFA 21 will officially release on 9th October, few days late from its normal release date of late September. This slight delay may be due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The game will be released on Xbox One, Play Station 4 and PC.

You can get early access to the game if you pre-order the Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition. You can get early access from 6th October.

Or, if you have subscribed to EA Access (PS4, Xbox One) and Origin Access (PC) then you can have the first taste of the game on 1st October.

Unfortunately, EA Sports has not yet revealed the details for Nintendo Switch or Stadia. Even it’s not clear when FIFA 21 will be available on the new Play Station 5 or Xbox Series X. So, EA Sports has announced Dual Entitlement – you can buy FIFA 21 on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One before FIFA 22 and upgrade your game for the equivalent next-generation console (PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X) for free. This feature is will do the gamers a lot of good.

Microsoft recently released the beta version of Microsoft Launcher, which it rebuild from the ground level. The reason to impose the features of Microsoft Launcher Preview which is another standalone product from Microsoft released last January.

In the beta version of Microsoft Launcher, though, some older features like background blur are still not there, but new features are added. The most attractive two of them are landscape home screen and dual-screen phone support. As per Dr Windows, a german tech blog site, the beta of Microsoft Launcher already comes at the level of the Preview app.

In Microsoft’s words, this is still in the alpha testing stage and some features or functionality may not be stable. That means, the new icons and overall look may be changed or maybe not. Hope for the positive one.

The catalog has a dark mode, landscape mode, low memory utilization, improved loading time, smoother animations, and better battery optimization. Some of the previous features like double-tap to lock, contact organizer, Continue on PC are still there with possible improvements.

Realme 3 Pro gets a new June 2020 update: brings new charging animation & more

Realme has a got good record of providing software updates to its users and especially its Realme 3 Pro users, as it was one of the highest-selling smartphones for the company. It was in fact, the first smartphone to receive the Realme UI based on Android 10 update, now Realme will be pushing a new June 2020 update.

Apart from bringing the Android June 2020 security patch update, Realme has added three applications in the including Realme PaySa, and Realme Link app. Also, there’s a new solar charging animation feature on the lock screen of the Realme 3 Pro.

Then there is the modification to the default state of power-saving mode auto-off switch and state of screen brightness reduction switch. Optimizations include optimized transparency of the slide back gesture style and optimized screen recording icon size.

Netflix crosses 2 million Subscriber milestone in India

Netflix is one of the costliest online video streaming platform, no doubt. But the contests are crunchier enough that Indians are agreed to spend a good amount happily. The stats, at least, are saying that. CompariTech published a chart based on the recently released official data by Netflix, where it is mentioned more than 2 million Indians are enjoying Netflix content. Netflix, earlier, already reported that it gained more than 15.8 million global subscribers during this pandemic situation.

For Netflix, the US, Brazil, and the UK still are the gold mines with more than 94 million subscribers in the Q1 of 2020. After that, in the top 10 list, comes Mexico, France, Canada, Germany, Australia, Argentina, and Spain. Our India comes in the 16th position following Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, New Zealand, and Sweden respectively.

Netflix jumped to around 183 million subscribers, in 2020 Q1, from 167 million subscribers. For this growth, the pandemic is also responsible, besides the content quality. The revenue grows far from $20.1 billion. 38% of the current revenue is coming only from the US and Canada. Europe, Middle East, and Afrika are contributing 32%, Latin America 19%, and the Asia Pacific is supplying 11% of the revenue.

The stats from Q2 is on its way. It is estimated the online video streaming giant will reach 200 million subs with 6 billion quarterly revenue. We need to wait till the end of this month to see the actual stat.

LaLiga has resumed from 11th June and what a title race it has been. Barcelona has a 2-point advantage over Real Madrid. They have won their first 2 matches. But, Real aren’t far behind either.

Real Madrid has successfully overcome one of its toughest matches among the remaining fixtures. They have won their first 2 fixtures to keep the pressure on Barcelona.

Marco Asensio returned to football after a long 11-month injury lay-off. He had an ACL injury in the pre-season last July. He came on as a substitute against Valencia and scored a goal with his first touch after making a comeback from injury.

Asensio assisted another goal from which Benzema scored a stunner. What an effortless shot it was! If he can stay fit, with the form he seems to be in, Asensio will play a major role in Real Madrid’s bid for the LaLiga title.

Now coming to that Benzema stunner. Probably, it was the best goal of the season. It was a treat to the eyes. You can watch that goal running on a loop.

With 2 goals against Valencia, Benzema has now surpassed Ferenc Puskas as Real Madrid’s all-time fifth-highest goalscorer. He has now 243 goals to his name.

In 2009, a 21-year-old Karim Benzema joined Real Madrid from Olympique Lyonnais. 11 years later, he’s joint-fifth in the all-time top-scorers list for the most successful club in LaLiga and European Cup history. What a journey it has been for the Frenchman!

Real Madrid has now again closed the gap to 2-points. They still have tough fixtures against Real Sociedad and Athletic Club to overcome but it’s Quique Setien’s side with the tougher run-in on paper. Barcelona still has to face Atletico Madrid and Sevilla in the remaining nine games.

It looks like we’ve got an exciting title race on our hands to close the season.

Official: Timo Werner signs for Chelsea

RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has been within the top strikers in the world for quite some time now. He has scored 32 goals and registered 13 assists in 43 appearances in all competitions. Many big European clubs wanted his signature. For many days it was rumoured that Werner will ply his trade in the Premier League.

The rumour has now become true, with the only exception is that Werner was linked with Liverpool in the majority of the rumours but now it is Chelsea who has won the race for his signature.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea has signed the 24-year-old striker for £47.5 million and offered Werner a 5-year-deal worth £170,000-a-week.

Chelsea was hit with a transfer ban so Lampard used that time wisely to promote the youths of the clubs like Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi among others. But experience is also a vital cog in building a successful squad.

Chelsea signed Pulisic before the transfer ban but he hasn’t found his foot yet at Stamford bridge. But once he adapts he will be a live wire in the field. They have also signed Ajax’s attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech who will join them at the end of this season. Ziyech is a great addition to the squad. And now they have managed to bring Werner to the club. This new-look Chelsea attack will give serious headaches to the other Premier League clubs.

Werner said after signing for Chelsea: “I am delighted to be signing for Chelsea, it is a very proud moment for me to be joining this great club. I, of course, want to thank RB Leipzig, the club and the fans, for four fantastic years. You will forever be in my heart. I look forward to next season with my new team-mates, my new manager and of course the Chelsea fans. Together we have a very successful future ahead of us.’

Timo Werner’s addition is a huge boost to the Chelsea frontline. Earlier Tammy Abraham used to play as the striker but his inexperience sometimes came in between Chelsea’s win and loss. Giroud has also signed a new contract so he would play second fiddle to Werner and would provide great depth to the Chelsea squad.

Marina Granovskaia, Director of Chelsea added: “We are very excited that Timo Werner has chosen to join Chelsea. He is a player who was coveted all over Europe and it is no surprise, he has that rare mix of being young and exciting and yet established and proven. We can’t wait to have Timo on board, but until then we wish him and RB Leipzig all the best for the rest of this season.”

Werner also posted a lovely goodbye message to his current team, RB Leipzig and their fans, thanking them for their support and love over the past four years.

Official: UEFA Champions League final to be played on 23rd August

I had written in my previous article that UEFA is planning for a “Final Eight” tournament in Lisbon, Portugal. It has now been officially declared by UEFA that the Champions League last 16 second-leg will resume on 7th August with the final being held on 23rd August.

Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta, Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig have already qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals. The remaining four quarter-finalists will be decided after the last 16 second-leg fixtures have been played on 7th and 8th August.

Manchester City’s home leg against Real Madrid, Chelsea’s trip to Bayern Munich, Juventus’s home game against Olympique Lyonnais and Napoli’s visit to Barcelona. These four last 16 second-leg matches are still remaining to be played. After that, all the eight quarter-finalists will travel to Lisbon for the ‘Final Eight’ tournament which will be held across 11 days.

The four single-legged quarter-finals are scheduled from 12-15th August. The semi-finals will also be a single-leg affair and will be held on 18-19th August followed by the final on 23rd August.

All the matches will be played in Lisbon’s two major stadiums – Benfica’s Estadio da Luz and Sporting Lisbon’s Jose Alvalade stadium. The final will be held at Estadio da Luz.

Istanbul which was due to host the UEFA Champions League 2020 final, will now be the host for the 2021 Champions League final.

Real Madrid is the most successful club in Champions League history. They have won 13 titles so far, with 4 of those coming in the last 6 seasons.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane commented on this new Champions League format. He told: “We are living a special moment and everything will be special. We know the format, how it will be, but we still do not know where we will play the return leg against City. We will adapt. If it has to be in Lisbon or Manchester, we will play. First, we are going to try to progress against City.”

“The important thing is to play again and we are happy, but this formula for the Champions does not seem bad to me. I like it. It’s okay to decide everything in the same place.”

Already we know how powerful a Snapdragon 865 chip can be and the upcoming Snapdragon 865 Plus chip shows how it can outperform any competition. This is an upcoming flagship processor to be used by most brands in the latter half of 2020.

In the Geekbench result, we see the chipset inside an ASUS phone benchmarked with the name of “asus ZF”. We see the SoC in the Asus smartphone scoring 973 points in the single-core test while a whopping 3346 points in the multi-core test.

New rumours have come up that this could be the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 3 and it might be the first Snapdragon 865 Plus phone to hit the market. The phone has already received EEC certification and has been spotted bearing triple rear camera setup.

The upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus will have a clock speed of 3.1GHz for its prime core while the other CPU cores have the same clock speed as those of the Snapdragon 865 which means it is nothing but a higher clocked SD 865.
