Server Slam: Your Last Chance Before Launch

The three-day Server Slam Open Test from October 17th-19th is described as “one final opportunity to get your hands on ARC Raiders before launch”. All platforms are supported, and participants will receive an exclusive backpack for use in the game.

Progress made during the playtest will not carry over to the final release, making this purely a testing and preview opportunity for potential players.

What Makes Arc Raiders Special?

Arc Raiders is a PvPvE extraction shooter that hopes to deliver a slightly more in-depth experience than typical games in the genre. The game combines player-versus-player combat with environmental threats and extraction mechanics.

After multiple tech tests throughout 2024 and 2025, Embark Studios announced the game is dropping its free-to-play model and will be available for purchase at $40 on release. This pricing shift reflects the studio’s commitment to delivering a premium, polished experience.

Launch Timeline & Availability

Arc Raiders is releasing on October 30, 2025 on Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The timing positions it perfectly for the competitive holiday gaming season.

The Server Slam represents the final public testing phase, allowing Embark Studios to stress-test servers and gather last-minute feedback before the official launch. With 169,000 players already awaiting the free test, anticipation is reaching fever pitch.

From The Finals creators, Arc Raiders brings their signature destructible environments and tactical gameplay to the extraction shooter genre. Pre-orders are available now across all major platforms.
