Gautam Gambhir may have been retired, however, you cannot keep him out of the game. Gambhir is the third most successful IPL captain of all time behind MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma. He led the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to two titles in 2012 and 2014.
Gambhir recently in an interview, named a valuable asset who can make the IPL a difficult place for batsmen. He truly believes the T20 specialist, Sunil Narine will be the game changer for KKR.
The former KKR captain believes Narine will be even more dangerous with a slightly tweaked action. The fact that the West Indian has started hiding the ball before it’s release, will make it very difficult for the batsmen to read.
Gambhir on Narine!
“For me, the most important thing is that when Sunil Narine is hiding the ball during his run-up, it will increase the difficulties for the batsmen. It will be difficult to find which ball will go away and which ball will come in. Because the later you see the ball in the hand, the more difficult it is for the batsmen”, he said on the Cricket Connected Show on Star Sports.
Narine’s new action has already shown results in the recent Caribbean Premier League. He picked up five wickets in the four matches he played for Trinbago Knight Riders at an economy of a mere 4.87. Gambhir stressed on the fact that Narine has also started varying his pace. He, therefore, believes Narine will prevail especially on UAE pitches where there is some assistance for spin.
“If Sunil Narine gets a little grip from the UAE wickets, he will be very effective,” the former KKR captain said. “The pace at which Sunil Narine is bowling, Rashid Khan is so successful because of his pace and Sunil Narine has been successful when he has bowled quicker, it is a new thing we have seen and this might make him very successful in the IPL.”
Narine has established himself as a modern-day IPL and T20 legend. He has picked up 122 wickets in the 110 IPL matches, making him eighth in the list of highest wicket-takers in the IPL.
The 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to start from 19th September in UAE. BCCI decided to host this year’s IPL outside of India due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
All the IPL teams reached UAE last month and has been conducting training sessions. The final will be held on 10th November.
BCCI has now released the official schedule of Dream 11 IPL 2020. The tournament will begin with a blockbuster clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings on Saturday, 19th September in Abu Dhabi.
After that, Dubai will host its first game on Sunday when Delhi Capitals will take on Kings XI Punjab. It will be followed by the third match on Monday between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
After Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the IPL action will shift to Sharjah on Tuesday, 22nd September when Rajasthan Royals will host Chennai Super Kings.
Kolkata Knight Riders will be the last team to kickstart their IPL 2020 campaign. KKR will host Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi on 23rd September.
According to the official statement by Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary of BCCI: “There will be 10 doubleheaders with the first match starting at 3:30 PM IST and 2:00 PM UAE time. Here are all the latest developments in the Barcelona rebuild under Ronald Koeman:
Barcelona is reportedly looking to offload a decent part of their squad this season in an attempt to rebuild their team.
First to get the axe seems to be midfielder Arturo Vidal, who is heavily linked with joining Inter Milan and striker Luiz Suarez, repeatedly associated with joining Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus.
Barca are willing to sign Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum. Although no official bid has been launched as of yet, the Barca board does expect to land the Dutch Midfielder to link up with Koeman.
Keeping with the Dutch theme at Catalonia, Barca are also keen on landing Lyon striker Memphis who has managed to revive his career after struggling to make an impact at a big team, in his case, Manchester United.
Barca expect to get both deals done for about €50-55 million tops. They have been keeping in contact with both of their agents, and an official bid will be submitted in the next few days.
Should Gini Wijnaldum make the move to Spain, Liverpool will go for Thiago. They are still in contact with his agent and are expected to shell out €30 million for the Spaniard.
Although it is not certain that Liverpool will sell Wijnaldum, they haven’t yet received an official bid. Things will become a lot clearer in the days to come.
Manchester United also had a talk with Thiago’s agent but have not contacted Bayern as of yet.
According to a recent report by Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barca could pull off a complete u-turn and go for their former player, Thiago. However, it would be ignorant to rule out a move for Wijnaldum to Barca either.
A move for Thiago looks certain. The only variable is where the move will take him. In the case of Liverpool, they want to make some money from the sale of Wijnaldum before investing in Thiago
These days laptops have become more important than ever and are in demand among which the Ryzen 4000U powered laptops are the most trending because of its incredible value – both from the performance & efficiency point-of-view. That’s why AMD is facing unprecedented sales that have exceeded beyond their expectations and AMD is trying to cope up with the deficit soon.
However, this opportunity has been grabbed by a lot of sellers online who have increased the prices and people who are stuck at homes are feeling safer to order online. This has made even Amazon’s trusted seller Appario Business to increase prices a lot while there are less price hike reports on Flipkart’s point of view.
So, I have been reported by Twitter user @Thisisnarendran that offline prices of laptops like the ASUS VivoBook S14 are a lot less than online, the Ryzen 5 4500U variant of the laptop’s MSRP should be Rs. 60k and online its available for Rs. 65k on Amazon while offline it can be purchased at Rs. 61k.
However, Flipkart is selling at the right price of ₹59,990, but not all pin codes are available for delivery, which is another headache for many. So, if you ever try to buy one for yourself, which I am sure you will because of the need, better check prices before getting one for yourself as Ryzen 4000U powered ones are the best in the market currently.
A new Bloomberg report is saying that the SoftBank Group is in talks with Reliance Jio Infocomm and Airtel to bid for TikTok’s Indian arm. In earlier months it was come to know that the Reliance Industries was interested to invest in TikTok India.
To let you know that SoftBank has stakes in ByteDance, which is the parent company of TikTok. As per the report, SoftBank has taken the initiative to assemble a group of bidders to acquire TikTok India and resume the operation in the country.
The report also says that the Japanese multinational company brought Walmart in the group of investors where Alphabet was also one of the members. But this effort didn’t work as the US government wanted a US-based company to lead the process. Later, Google also came out showing no internet in the deal, and Walmart joined Microsoft to bid.
We will have to see what SoftBank ultimately do to resume the TikTok India operation here. After the TikTok ban in India, along with other 58 applications, several similar applications come to the market to fill the gap. Among them, Instagram’s Reels is one.
I already mention about a report came earlier mentioning Reliance’s interest for TikTok India. But there’s less chance for that as Jio’s music streaming platform JioSaavan already partnered with Triller, another short video making platform based in the US.

Huawei earlier announced that its latest entry, Mate 40s, will have its latest next-generation Kirin chipsets, termed as Kirin 1000 series. The next-gen processor will be based on the revolutionary 5nm architecture that will feature ARM Cortex-A77 cores.
But to the dismay of Huawei, the US Commerce Department has increased its restrictions on the Chinese tech giant. It has ordered the global chipmakers that used US technology had to obtain a license from the US government to work on designs for Huawei.
Even if the chipmakers want to sell a general-purpose design model to Huawei, they would still require the permission of the US government. Thus, Huawei has now allegedly booked TSMC’s 5nm production line to the greatest extent possible, as the window of its business with the supplier is being narrowed out.
But the ability of TSMC to deliver on this contract will determine the fate of the upcoming Mate 40 Series. As TSMC has less than 10 days, it’s still working non-stop to complete their contract. But, TSMC won’t be able to deliver the products on time, this will further delay the release of Mate 40s and its successors.
How the delay has affected Huawei
For many years Huawei has been a prominent player at the IFA Tech Expo in Berlin. But Honor and Huawei, has only introduced the products such as wearables and notebooks at this year’s Tech Expo, which is a major drop in its performance compared with previous years.
The 5nm Kirin SoC’s has not yet been unveiled as it was planned. Thus, it creates doubt about the future of Huawei’s mobile tech. Huawei has been a major player in the mobile industry for many years. However, with the current restrictions on the company by the US Government, the future of its mobile development looks bleak.
With the production of the 5nm chipset, Huawei was expected to release its Mate 40s series sooner, but since TSMC won’t be able to hold good on their end, it will cause a huge delay in the release of Mate 40s and its successors.
Since the release of Mate 40s has not been officially confirmed the future of Huawei’s mobile tech rests completely in the production and delivery of 5nm chipsets.
Former Manchester United players Edwin van der Sar, now CEO at Ajax, and Daley Blind also encouraged Van de Beek to move to Old Trafford. Former Arsenal star Dennis Bergkamp also advised him to choose the Premier League.
But ultimately, it was United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was the key to this transfer deal as “Every coach can say they want you, but it takes a very special coach to explain exactly why they want you. Ole convinced Donny entirely.”
Now, when Netherlands international Donny Van De Veek will make his United debut he will create a record at Old Trafford. He will become the 13th Netherlands international to don the red jersey. The Netherlands will move one clear of France in the all-time rankings of countries to which the United players belong.
Arnold Muhren became the first man from the Netherlands to don the famous red shirt after moving from Ipswich Town in 1982.
The 13 Netherlands players who played for Manchester United are:
Arnold Muhren
Jordi Cruyff
Raimond van der Gouw
Jaap Stam
Ruud van Nistelrooy
Edwin van der Sar
Robin van Persie
Alexander Buttner
Daley Blind
Memphis Depay
Tim Fosu-Mensah
Tahith Chong
Donny Van De Beek

POCO is going to launch its new POCO M2 on the coming September 8 at noon. There are a lot of specifications of this phone that has now been confirmed. Let’s check out what are those.
The POCO M2 will have a Full HD+ screen resolution and 6GB of RAM. The company itself confirmed it. According to POCO, this phone will be the “most affordable 6GB RAM phone” and we all know that POCO M2 will be a toned version of its predecessor POCO M2 Pro, that released in India back in July.
Regarding the other specifications about the display, nothing has been confirmed yet by the company. But if we compare it to the POCO M2 Pro, then we can expect a similar screen resolution for the POCO M2, which is a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display.
The POCO M2 is confirmed to have a teardrop notch type display and a long-lasting decent battery of 5,000mAH. Besides this, the phone will be featuring a quad rear camera setup. But the exact specifications of those sensors are still under the wraps. But we can assume that apart from the primary sensor, this camera module will have an ultrawide angle sensor, a macro lens, and a depth sensor for good bokeh effects.
These are some specifications that have been confirmed about the POCO M2. We are looking forward to its launch on September 8 to get a clear vision of this phone. Moreover, both Poco and Flipkart have been teasing certain details about the upcoming smartphone in the days leading up to the phone’s announcement.
