OFFICIAL: Sandesh Jhingan signs for ATK Mohun Bagan

One of the most legendary clubs in India, Mohun Bagan FC has been rebranded as ATK Mohun Bagan in an attempt to feature them in the 20/21 season of the ISL. 

With the season scheduled to begin in November, the reigning champions have recruited Sandesh Jhingan to the club. That is according to Marcus Mergulhao, the Sports Editor of TOI Goa, Via Twitter. 

Sandesh Jhingan will be signing a five-year contract with the champions and will be a fine addition to their already recognised squad. He is set to be the most expensive footballer in the country when his signing becomes official. 

The Kolkata based club have already recruited Tiri from Jamshedpur FC and Subhasish Bose from Mumbai City FC. The addition of the country’s best defender will certainly make ATKMB strong favourites to retain their title this season. 

Despite the pandemic affecting finances harshly across world football, a deal worth Rs. 6 Crore is said to be on the table for the former Kerala Blasters star. 

Despite playing for the Blasters since the inception of the ISL in 2014, Jhingan terminated his contract in May of this year. The reason behind it being his ambition of playing in one of the European leagues. 

Should a club from the north come calling, Jhingan would want to leave immediately. That is the clause that the player wants in his contract, and ATK seem to have no trouble as long as they can have the best defender in the country watching over their backline.

Sandesh Jhingan has made 36 appearances for the Indian National team and has scored four goals across all competitions while keeping the backline in tact. 

He has made 76 appearances for Kerala Blasters across six seasons at the club, missing out on the 19/20 campaign due to a knee injury that he picked up in October of last year.

The South Korean Giant, Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy A72 soon. The most important and interesting feature of this upcoming phone is that it will be packed with a Penta-camera setup on the backside. Penta rear camera won’t be the first in the smartphones, the first phone with Penta rear camera is Nokia 9 PureView.

According to the source, this upcoming phone is not a flagship model, it will probably belong to the mid-range smartphone family of Samsung. However, there’s no clue about the launch of this handset, but it is expected that this phone will be surfaced in the middle of 2021.

The Samsung Galaxy A72 features a quintuple-camera setup on the backside. The camera module includes – 64 megapixels of the main sensor alongside 12 megapixels of Ultra-wide lens, 8 megapixels of a telephoto sensor with 3x zooming power, a 5 megapixels of Macro lens, and another 5 megapixels sensor dedicated solely to elevating the handset’s bokeh game.

The Galaxy A72 comes with an 8 megapixels Ultra-wide sensor with a 3x zoom lens, borrowed from the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The predecessor of the Galaxy A72 was the Galaxy A71 that featured a quad camera with an 8MP 3x zooming lens.

This upcoming Galaxy A72 is supposed to feature Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which is most useful with long focal length. This upcoming phone also has 32 megapixels of front camera for selfie and video call purposes.

The Galaxy A52 will also be added to Samsung’s ‘A’ series of smartphones. But the Galaxy A52 will be packed with a quad rear camera setup.

Regarding the other information about the Galaxy A72 is not reported yet. It is expected that this phone will arrive in mid-2021, so we have to wait for the launch. We are giving you the assurance that we will provide all the information on this upcoming phone soon.

Trump administration and the Chinese government has been going at each other’s neck since early 2020. With the current trade going between the US and China, tech companies such as TSMC are facing huge losses due to trade restrictions imposed by the US government.

The Trump administration has a limited supply of US tech to Chinese tech firms. The US government views them as a security threat. They are even encouraging U.S. factories in China to move back home.

Whereas, China is trying to nurture companies to take on American tech giants. The country is also working on being self-reliant from U.S. suppliers and be independent enough to not get affected by the United States.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, the world’s largest contract manufacturer of the fabrication process was forced to stop taking new orders from Huawei. This was because of the new sanctions imposed by the US government.

TSMC had stopped taking new orders of Huawei from May and has stopped shipping them from this month.

Mark Liu, Chairman of TSMC, said that “in the future, the climate may change. The information flow may not be that free. Tariffs may be erected. So we have to prepare for that.”

Day 8 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will feature a clash of two heavyweights as Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Kolkata Knight Riders.

Both the teams are coming off of losses in their first match. They will like to get things back on track by putting a statement and getting their respective points table kicking.

Both the teams are equally balanced with star-power and youth. Hence, it will be an interesting match to go with your weekend!

SRH is coming off a disappointing loss against RCB in their first match. The match selection itself raised some eyebrows as newcomer Natarajan was selected over IPL tested performers like Siddharth Kaul, Basil Thampi, and Khaleel Ahmed. That move didn’t pay off as they couldn’t get early wickets.

KKR is coming off an embarrassing defeat against Mumbai Indians. Both bowling and batting didn’t seem to work for the Bengal Tigers. The pace bowling looked rusty, the only one to bowl tight was the young Shivam Mavi. Spinners did well, however, batsmen were able to play them off and attack the pace bowlers.

The batting had a similar fate. Sunil Narine opening the batting didn’t work. Many believe the KKR made a tactical error in having Andre Russell come to bat late. Dinesh Karthik looked really good at number 3. Pat Cummins launched some fireworks with the bat, however, they will be concerned about his bowling form.

ANDRE RUSSELL (10.5) – If promoted, he’ll be even more dangerous. Also, he’s a very handy bowler.

BHUVANESHWAR KUMAR (9) – Bhuvaneshwar Kumar can pick up wickets both in powerplay and death overs. He will lead the Sunrisers bowling lineup.

JASON HOLDER (8.5) – Holder might make it into the side after the injury of Mitchell Marsh.

ABHISHEK SHARMA (8.0) – Sharma bowled well in the first game and is a dynamic name in the U19 circuit. He hit some big shots in the last season as well.

PRIYAM GARG (8.0) – Another notable name from the U19 circuit. SRH management likes the idea of promoting him at no. 4.

PREDICTION

SRH have a stacked top order, however, their middle-order fails to put the innings together. KKR, on the other hand, have ample resources in every department, it’s just a matter of putting it together for them.

They will rectify the mistakes they did and will bounce back. KKR will, therefore, defeat SRH.

Manchester City is in a pole position to sign Benfica defender Ruben Dias for a fee of around €55 million and involving Nicolas Otamendi. The Portuguese defender is also in the priority list of Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester City has already signed Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake in the early days of the transfer market. After that, they were linked with Napoli defender Kouliabaly as well. But they failed to sign the Napoli defender. So, now they are monitoring Ruben Dias as his replacement.

Manchester City has faced some serious issues in their defensive area last season. Pep was forced to field his midfielder as a centre-back to maintain the damage. So, the club now wants to solve their defensive problem.

Ruben Dias started his career for the Benfica B team in 2015. Then he made his debut for Benfica in 2017. He has scored 8 goals for Benfica in 89 matches. Ruben Dias has also won Primeira Liga in the 2018-19 season with SL Benfica.

He made his national team debut for Portugal in 2018 and already made 19 appearances for his country. He has won UEFA Nations League in the 2018-19 season with the country.

Though Benfica has not accepted any bid yet and not interested to let their defender go. Benfica manager Jorge Jesus said, “If you ask me if I’d like (that Dias left), I wouldn’t like it. But if the financial factor is important for the club, we have to understand. Managers must be prepared for this.”

The final negotiation will take place very soon between two clubs.

A listing on UL (Demko) certification website was spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma which confirms the name of this cheaper Mi Watch and also reveals few key details about the upcoming smartwatch.

As the name suggests the Mi Watch Lite is going to be a toned-down variant of the original Mi Watch or it could simply be the Redmi Watch bearing model number REDMIWT0 which could be launched as Mi Watch Lite outside China.

The Redmi Watch we are speaking about has been spotted by a Weibo user named Digital Chat Station with an identical model number “REDMIWT01” in a Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) listing but no other information was provided there so there are high chances of Mi Watch Lite being a rebranded Redmi Watch meant for the international market.

Apart from the model number we get the rating information which. tells that the watch will operate on the input of 5Vdc and 0.4A and the UL(Demko) certification listing doesn’t provide any more information regarding this new wearable.

These certifications do confirm that Mi Watch Lite or Redmi Watch is due to launch very soon and some reports suggest that it could launch as early as next month which is October.

Mi Watch which launched back in December last year sports a 1.78-inch AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The watch is backed up by a 570mAh battery and can last up to 36 hours on a single charge. It also has dual sim connectivity through eSIM support along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC.

Football Manager 2021: Release Date Confirmed, Xbox Return, New Features, and much more

The wait is finally over, Football Manager 2021 finally has a release date. The game is set to release on 24th November 2020. Moreover,  there is a twist, Football Manager 2021 will return to the Xbox for the first time in thirteen years. The game is also bringing a custom version based on Football Manager Touch to the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

The Football Manager Mobile will launch on iOS and Android, and the Football Manager touch will be launching on the Nintendo Switch. This comprehensive launch of the Football Manager 2021 suggests that it will be the extensive launch in the history of the Football Manager series.

Miles Jacobson, studio director of Sports Interactive stated that-“Football Manager 2021 is a historic release for us as a studio. We’re bringing FM to more platforms than ever before and giving more people the chance to manage their favorite club – whether that’s on their PC, from the comfort of their sofa or on their phone or tablet.”

The PC version of the Football Manager will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. While the Xbox Edition of the game will be obtainable on the Xbox Store as a Play Anywhere digital title. The Play Anywhere digital title means that the user who purchases the game in Xbox Store will be able to play on both the PC and Xbox consoles, and also it will allow using the exact save file across both the platforms.

The Touch version will also be accessible on the PC and will be available free for those who have bought the core game.

The iOS and the android versions of Football Manager Mobile didn’t get a launched date yet. The game will get a separate release date for Nintendo Switch and for all the other versions the game will release on the 24th of November. Oppo is mainly renowned for its smartphones around the globe though there are a lot of accessories as well. Whereas many smartphone companies have been expanding their products with Smart TVs recently. Now, surprisingly we have received news revealing OPPO is recently working on its Smart TV and it is expected that they are going to release their new product in the coming month.

Actually, it’s not for the first time, earlier in June Oppo released an image displaying all of its achievements in 5G technology, where a smart TV was also included.

In the 2020 OPPO Developer Conference, the company has announced officially that they are going to expand their accessories with a Smart TV. The General Manager of OPPO, Yi Wei did not reveal much more specifications about this upcoming TV but announced it is a key step to expanding the company’s IoT network of devices.

It looks like Activision will be bringing Zombie mode on Call of Duty: Warzone. Yesterday, some data-mined audio files got leaked, which gave us a hint about Zombie Mode in Warzone.

You will hear several voiceover lines that tell us about the Zombies mode in Warzone. Moreover, you will hear a lecturer detailing how Zombies don’t get affected by the gas on the Verdansk map.

Activision may launch the Zombie mode in Halloween, which is right next month. Halloween seems perfect timing to launch an update for the Call Of Duty Warzone. Just like Warzone other free to play battle royale video games like Apex Legends added a creepy mode around Halloween before, where infected players have killed all off the remaining characters before time expired.

Don’t assume that Call Of Duty Warzone to use the full Verdansk map, the Zombies mode could take place on a drastically downsized map.  The game was released on March 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. From its release, the game has attracted over 75 million players worldwide and the numbers are still going up.

By bringing Zombie Mode in the game Activision will attract more players toward their game. Hope we will able to see the Zombie mode soon enough.
