Intel Tiger Lake-H processor spotted on Userbenchmark

Intel has been demolished by the new Ryzen 4000H mobile gaming processors, and the only way to cope with this is its new upcoming Tiger Lake-H processors that will be launched in 2021. These CPUs will have TDP in the range of 35-45W and the max number of cores offered will be 8 cores.

These gaming processors will also be based on the 10nm process and use the SuperFin transistors for better performance and efficiency. Tiger Lake-H now offers a re-designed middle-level cache of 1.25 MB along with high clock speeds even at the lower thermal envelope.

So, you can indeed expect a good performance leap, thanks to the new architecture, and as we already saw, Tiger Lake-U has some amazing single-core performance. The upcoming Intel Tiger Lake-H processors’ gaming performance should be great, and the prolific tipster @TUM_APISAK has spotted the first leak.

The leak shows an Intel Tiger Lake-H engineering sample named intel 0000 U3E1 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads. The processor has a base clock speed of 3.1GHz; however, as this a Tiger Lake sample, the turbo clock speed of 2.75GHz.

It also features Intel UHD graphics, and the scores on userbenchmark don’t seem promising because this is a sample CPU. Nevertheless, one thing is evident that the upcoming Intel Tiger Lake-H processors will be coming soon to the market, and with more accurate leaks and benchmarks, we could predict its performance improvement,

Barcelona has been going through a tumultuous time. Josep Maria Bartomeu resigned as the club president after a vote of no-confidence was submitted against him.

Now, Carles Tusquets is the interim president of the Barcelona board. In their recent board meeting, they have finally decided the date for the Barcelona presidential elections.

There was a doubt regarding 17th or 24th January but at last the latter date has been officially finalized.

The Presidential election was supposed to be held during the Christmas holidays, though this gives more time for the candidates to prepare their campaign for the election. However, the candidate who will win the election will have a very short transfer window to make important signings to give the squad a much-needed boost.

The winter transfer window opens on 4th January and ends on 1st February, which means the incoming board will have just one week to act. The interim board can also make signings but it will be difficult for them to negotiate a deal and on top of that, the next president may not approve the negotiations later.

So basically, Barcelona will get just 1 week to reinforce Koeman’s squad. The other major task of the President will be to come to an agreement with club legend Lionel Messi and negotiate a deal as his current contract ends in the summer of 2021.

There are five names that have been come out as candidates for the Presidential elections. Jordi Farre, Toni Freixa, Lluis Fernandez will contest against the favourites Victor Font and Joan Laporta.

Joan Laporta had a very successful reign as the Barcelona president so he may just edge past Victor Font. Whoever wins the election will have a tough task on hand to help Barcelona regain their old status.

It’s been a few weeks since AMD announced its new revolutionary Radeon RX 6000 GPUs based on the new RDNA 2 architecture. Well, that kind of performance was never seen coming from AMD, and to boost that, the Red team used the Smart Access Memory Technology to help boost the performance of their GPUs.

AMD’s new high-end Ryzen 5000 series desktop processors and the new Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs can be combined to give the best performance. The company says in a conventional Windows 10 PC, processors can only access a fraction of graphics memory (VRAM) at once, limiting system performance.

Whereas, with AMD Smart Access Memory (Ryzen+Radeon combo), the data channel gets expanded to harness the full potential of GPU memory – removing the bottleneck to increasing performance. Obviously, in AMD optimized games, you’ll experience this feature to be best implemented, still a great bonus for gamers truly.

On the other hand, NVIDIA, in a short statement to GamersNexus, has confirmed the fact that it plans to develop a similar kind of technology as well. However, NVIDIA plans to use PCI Express specs to give a similar advantage independent of the CPU you opt to go for.

Obviously, this makes the feature even more complicated and as there’s no involvement of PCIe Gen4, NVIDIA maybe kind enough to allow this on those CPUs who lack the feature, i.e. current Intel CPUs.

As a GPU maker, AMD is expected to make such a marketing kind of software, which promises up to 11% extra gaming performance in select titles. So, NVIDIA could be neutral of its upcoming feature, and it will be interesting to see how the feature helps its new RTX 3000 GPUs.

November turns out to be the most surprising month honestly, AMD Ryzen 5000 series have launched, new Apple M1 chips are here, AMD’s RX 6000 series GPU are also coming. Well, if you are not over with this, then the good thing is Apple is going to use the new AMD Ryzen 9 5900X on an iMacPro?

Well, it’s not the first time this kind of incident happened, because the previously a Ryzen 9 5950X was spotted running on an iMac but was flagged to be inaccurate. So, you should take this benchmark with a pinch of salt as well.

However, the only major difference in this benchmark and the new one is that this time the processor here is not a engineering sample. Also the motherboard remains the same “Acidanthera Mac-7BA5B2D9E42DDD94 iMacPro1,1” using a 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900X.

Well, authenticating the result is not our job, however, the performance scores is absolutely mind-blowing as it posts the highest single-core score of 2181 points as well as a multi-core score of 19156 points.

This might be fancy enough but if someday Apple could use new AMD processors on their desktops then that would be great. However, as for now, this iMacPro or a Mac Pro benchmark seems unrealistic and vague.

Still, the RX 6000 GPUs based on the RDNA 2 architecture haven’t lost craze in the market, and AMD is willing to bring the RDNA 3 cards in late 2021. Attending an online interview, Rick Bergman, AMD’s Executive Vice President, said about the Zen 4 CPU and RDNA 3 GPU architecture. It is good to see that AMD is planning to bring some next-generation performance.

According to the report, Radeon RX 6000 GPUs based on RDNA 2 deliver a 50% performance per watt improvement over the RDNA 1 based GPUs. AMD has claimed that the same improvement will be seen with the RDNA 3 GPU architectures.

Bergman said in the interview, “Let’s step back and talk about the benefits of both. So why did we target, pretty aggressively, performance per watt [improvements for] our RDNA 2 [GPUs]? And then yes, we have the same commitment on RDNA 3.”

“It just matters so much in many ways, because if your power is too high — as we’ve seen from our competitors — suddenly our potential users have to buy bigger power supplies, very advanced cooling solutions. And in a lot of ways, very importantly, it actually drives the [bill of materials] of the board up substantially This is a desktop perspective. And invariably, that either means the retail price comes up, or your GPU cost has to come down.”

“So [there are] actually a lot of efficiencies…if you can improve your perf-per-watt substantially. On the notebook side, that’s of course even more obvious, because you’re in a very constrained space, you can just bring more performance to that platform again without some exotic cooling solutions…We focused on that on RDNA 2. It’s a big focus on RDNA 3 as well.”

About the RDNA 3, we can expect a 7nm EUV or 5nm node. If AMD gets the top spot against Intel on the desktop front and can get success, then NVIDIA will get some great competition in the future.

Finally, it is hinted that AMD is targeting 1440p as the standard resolution. The company hasn’t declared anything officially. At least we get an idea of where to keep the Radeon GPUs to land.

IPL 2021: BCCI to release tender post-Diwali week for 9th IPL franchise

IPL 2020 is a wrap as Mumbai Indians decimated Delhi Capitals by 5 wickets to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

However, not finding any cricket on their TV sets at 7:30 PM has been challenging to deal with. Therefore, as a coping up mechanism, the fans have already started talking about IPL 2021.

Grateful for them, the planning has already started for IPL 2021. The Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) will have to conduct the IPL 2021 roughly four months from now on. However, two major decisions are yet to be taken regarding the auction and interestingly an additional 9th IPL team!

Update regarding a potential 9th franchise

According to a report, it is yet to be decided whether tender for the new franchise will be limited to one team or more.

“The tender is most likely to come after Diwali, once a decision is taken in this regard. And regardless of whether it’s one franchise or two, if new teams come in then a mega auction cannot be avoided,” sources said.

The report further says that BCCI top office bearers and the league’s governing council will meet in the next 3 days and make a decision for the tender. Reportedly heavyweights like the Adani Group, the Tatas, the RPG-Sanjiv Goenka, Uday Kotak, and Ronnie Screwwala have shown interest in owning a franchise in IPL.

The first and really positive indication coming from the BCCI camp is that a full auction will be conducted for the IPL 2021. The auction will be conducted either at the end of December or the first week of January. Reportedly, the BCCI has informally discussed the matter with franchises as well. The final decision will be taken in the next 2-3 weeks according to a BCCI official.

It will be interesting to see a full auction as teams like Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, and Kings XI Punjab would look to build a new skeleton for their team. It will also be beneficial for talented Indian players who have been toiling in the domestic circuit or working under the watchful eye of Rahul Dravid.

Finally, Realme’s UK branch has announced in the Twitter account that the Realme 7 5G will be announced on November 19 at 10 AM GMT next Thursday and will be live-streamed on the company’s official Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts. Recently we have also seen that the phone has also visited the NBTC certification website. From the image shared by the official account of Realme UK, we can see that the phone will have a punch-hole display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Expected Specification of Realme 7 5G

Realme 7 5G might have a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate with a hole-punch design. It may pack an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. Realme 7 5G is also tipped to come with quad rear cameras that include a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, along with two other 2MP sensors.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav also mentioned that the Realme 7 5G would come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. Realme 7 5G is said to have a 5,000mAh battery that might support 30W fast charging. Other details follow as, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 9.1mm of thickness.

As revealed by Abhishek Yadav the Realme 7 5G may be priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 17,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while its 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version would carry a price tag of CNY 1,899 (approx. Rs. 21,400).

Former Liverpool Legend and England international Robbie Fowler has joined this season as the new head coach of SC East Bengal who is going to start their ISL journey. But a possibility arose for FC Goa to sign him in 2014 as a marquee player and manager. But ISL cleared him as a marquee player but not as a marquee manager.

Robbie Fowler has played 369 games for Liverpool. He has scored 183 career goals for the Merseyside club. Robbie Fowler had also played for Leeds United and Manchester City for a short period of time in England. He also represented his country 26 times and scored 7 goals for them. So, it was sure that he can be a perfect marquee player in 2014 for FC Goa.
