I was in search of a portable Bluetooth speaker which is loud and has a good battery backup. My search ended when I found this Zebronics Zeb-Action portable Bluetooth speaker on Amazon. I ordered this Bluetooth speaker for Rs. 1100 last week and has been using it for last 2 days.
Though this speaker has been launched on 12th August 2019, this Amazon’s choice speaker is pretty good enough to be bought still now. I would like to share my experience of using this speaker with you.

Connectivity
The Bluetooth speaker comes with the latest Bluetooth version 5.0 which offers excellent connectivity. It’s very simple to pair with your device.
First, turn on the bluetooth on your device. Then press the ‘Power’ button on the speaker. It will turn on with a sound. You can find ‘ZEB-ACTION’ in the list of available devices. Select it and it’s connected. That’s how easy it is to pair the device.
From next time, it will automatically connect with the last connected device, if the device’s bluetooth is turned on.
Design and build quality
The speaker is a bit on the heavy side but that makes the speaker tough from the outside. Accidently it fell from my hand once, but thanks to its build quality, there’s no scratch or anything. It also has a hanging cord to help someone like me from not dropping it.
It has a barrel design, which is quite good. You can keep it both horizontally or vertically. But the only downside it that it doesn’t look or feel premium, but you can’t complain cause it provides a lot of feature in such a competitive price range of Rs 1100.
Sound quality
Honestly, I am pretty amazed by its sound quality. It was way above my expectations. I thought it would be a mediocre one but it turned out to be giant. The sound quality is unparalleled in this price range. It is very loud, I couldn’t put it on 100% volume for normal use in my room.
The bass is also good and the sound doesn’t crack if you put in on full volume. This is one of the main reasons why I would suggest you to buy this speaker.
Battery backup
Zebronics claims the Bluetooth speaker will last 12 hours at 50% volume. In this price range, it offers you the best backup. The other speakers offer around 7-8 hours. So it is a great boost.
I have used this at around 70-80% volume and it lasted for around 10 hours, which is pretty good. You shouldn’t have any complaint about its battery backup.
The only thing which caught my eye is that the portion where you need to connect the charger is covered by a rubber material. I felt with time the rubber cover would come off, which will then make it difficult to use it outdoor. They could have made the port area better.
Multiple features/connectivity options
You can get a stereo-like experience when the speaker is paired in a truly wireless function to another similar model. When both speakers are in Bluetooth Mode, press and hold the mode button on any one of the speakers to wirelessly interconnect both the speakers via TWS Function.
You can also just turn on the speaker and without connecting it to any Bluetooth device, just plug in an AUX cord or a USB or a micro-SD card and enjoy the music.
You can also answer calls while using the speaker’s microphone.
For increasing/decreasing the volume, long press the +/- button.
Or, you can also listen to the in-built FM Radio. Turn on the speaker and press the Mode button ‘M’, it will switch to FM Radio mode. You need to have the micro USB cable plugged in which will act as the antenna. Then long-press the ‘M’ button and it will auto search the radio channels. After the search is complete you can press the +/- button to change the radio stations.
But, here I would like to share my experience. I couldn’t turn the FM-Radio on at first. It’s very confusing to turn the radio on and then search for the channels. Even after I was able to turn on and search for the channels multiple times, I couldn’t listen to the FM radio as there was no channel. I don’t know the reason why it couldn’t search for the channels. I guess you shouldn’t even consider this feature. Even without the FM radio, this speaker is a value-for-money product.
Pros
Loud and clear sound quality
Audio quality is good including the bass
Easy connectivity
Long battery backup
Multiple connectivity options
Cons
FM radio doesn’t work properly
Doesn’t feel or look premium
‘M’ button is a bit confusing
The port area should have been made better
Verdict
Personally, I would suggest you to buy this product if you are looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker in this price range. Even if your range is under Rs 1000, you should spend another Rs 100-200 and go for this speaker.
The main criteria for me were to have a Bluetooth speaker which has great audio quality and lasts long enough. This speaker ticks all the right boxes. Most of the other speakers don’t even offer FM radio function, so you can omit that part.
Overall, this speaker is good for normal-everyday use.

Manchester United have officially confirmed the names of the academy players who will be released when their contract expires on 30th June.
All the out-going players have been given support packages and invited back to the club’s Carrington training base for pre-season training to maintain their fitness. Meanwhile United is also helping them to find new clubs.
The nine academy players who won’t be offered new deals are:
Demetri Mitchell
Cameron Borthwick-Jackson
Ethan Hamilton
Dion McGhee
Largie Ramazani *
George Tanner
Aidan Barlow
Kieran O’Hara
Alex Fojticek
*Ramazani, who made his senior debut against Astana in the Europa League this season, was offered a new deal but he turned it down.
United have not released any under-18 player during this COVID-19 crisis. They will make those decisions later when the situation is right.
Other than this nine academy graduates, the only first-team player whose contract ends this month is Angel Gomes. He has been offered a new deal but the teenager is yet to agree on the deal.
Manchester United Head of the academy, Nick Cox said: “With some of the younger pros that are ending their contracts, we are putting packages in place so that when the season resumes they will come back for a few months with some financial support and a training programme to help them with the next stage of their career.”
“This club is a family and looks after its family members. The last thing we wanted to do during this situation was to deliver bad news and release boys into the unknown.”
“We made the decision not to release any of the boys [under-9s to under-18s]. The number one priority was getting them back with smiles on their faces, and we will deal with those decisions at another time. We have a duty to help them through this difficult time.”

In 2019, AMD pulled the total desktop CPU market to itself with the Ryzen 3000 CPUs and in 2020, the Renoir APUs for mobile have totally changed the game. The new AMD Ryzen 4000H gaming processors are totally destroying Intel flagships at lower prices and that’s why Intel seems to be slashing its Comet Lake-H CPU prices to remain in the competition.
via ITHome
According to ITHome, a third-party marketer associated with Lenovo did actually claim that Intel “cannot keep up in the short term” with AMD. As the Ryzen 7 4800H is widely available across laptops with a price range of around $1000, Intel is having a hard time to catch up with the 8 core APU.
Intel’s 6-core Core i7-10750H cannot even match the 4800H and so the competition is against the 8-core Core i7-10875H, so Lenovo slashed the prices of Y7000P with Comet Lake Core i7-10875H from 8799 Yuan to just 8299 Yuan. Lenovo even went on to say that the 8-core Core i7-10875H will be available on a wider range of Lenovo laptops and also their pricing will be reduced.
via ITHome
So, at around $1,172.65, the laptop is still decent as it features 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD along with RTX 2060 and a 144Hz display. However, ITHome also points out that when originally the laptop was launched in May with Core i7-10750H and 1TB SSD, it was priced at 8699 Yuan and now you get 8-core option even at a lower price, this shows how Intel is worried of AMD this time.

It is also great to see the Lenovo officials pointing out the reason for the price slash and actually explaining Intel’s take on AMD currently.
Last time we saw @jon_prosser disclosing the price along with different variants of iPhone 12, where he claimed that the 5G base version will start from $649 and will roll up to $1,099. But he didn’t mention the pricing of the 4G versions. Previous rumors claim that there will be both 4G and 5G versions of the iPhone 12 series. Surely there will be some difference between these two versions as 4G smartphone nowadays will definitely be cheaper than the 5G models.
Been seeing some reports speculating on iPhone 12 prices, so I asked my sources 👇
Recently @omegaleaks came up with similar pricing of the iPhone 12 series along with its 4G version as well. This tipster claims that the 4G versions of the iPhone 12 will price at $549 and the iPhone 12 Max will be available at $649. He also adds that the 5G pricing of the series will be similar to @jon_prosser.
my first iphone rumor is the 4g version of the 12 and 12 max iphone 12(4g) if it happens will be 549$ 4g 12 max will be 649$ and there 5g prices are 649 and 749 just like jon prosser said.

The iPhone 12 series will have four variants and will feature 5G connectivity on all the devices. As the production is delayed the previous launch date was once changed according to a report and was being delayed for a month, but now another report from Cowen investment bank claims that the series will unveil in November if everything goes correctly from now on.
A new report also predicts a combined 35 million unit production output in Q2 2020 which would be 13% lower than the same period last year. Apple also faced a downfall in their smartphone market in Q2 due to this ongoing pandemic. The biggest market of Apple is China and the sales have also gone down in the last few months.
Rumored Specification
About a month ago, few details about the upcoming iPhone 12 series had surfaced which showed us the schematic design of the vanilla iPhone 12 and as well as the Pro version of the series. The design revealed the most important thing that the upcoming series will feature a smaller notch giving more screen-to-body ratio. Other reports claim that the smartphones will have OLED panels and screen diagonals ranging between 5.4 and 6.7-inches with two 6.1-inch models in the middle.
Reports claim that internally the iPhone 12 series will debut with A14 Bionic chipset, which will be more efficient than the previous generation chipset.
Previously it was said that the Google Pixel 4A will launch in May, but it got delayed to June, then July due to some internal reasons. Though there is no official word from the company we can not be sure of the launch date, but a recent report also claims that the Pixel 4A has received USA’s FCC certification and may launch before October. We have encountered this situations before that while a phone receives the FCC certification, the launch turns out to be more close than every.
The FCC certification accounts a new Google smartphone with three variants and its model numbers – G025N, G025M, and G025J – with the last one likely being the US model. Moreover, the certification also discloses the lists of bands that the smartphones will support.
