Frenkie de Jong back to training may feature in next match against Valladolid

Barcelona’s young and promising Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong plays a very important part of the Barcelona midfield. The injury he faced in the first match after lockdown against RCD Mallorca sidelined him for a long time which was a major setback for the club who dropped points significantly after that.

De Jong joined in Tuesday’s training session and could return by the weekend in the match against Real Valladolid. He suffered an injury in the soleus of his right leg and was confirmed on June 21 but he already missed the match against and is all set to return against Valladolid. He was even angry with the Barcelona medical team about how they treated him.

Quique Setien spoke yesterday in a press conference when asked about the Dutchman:

“It would be the ideal situation [to play against Valladolid]. His feeling is he’s improving. He trained today even though it was with little intensity what we did today. He’s feeling better all the time and the feeling is that he comes back in and we look at his recovery to see if he’s OK to play at Valladolid.”

Hope we see the exciting Barca man back in action soon because he is one of the fittest football for the Catalans and we all enjoy his football.

Manchester City & Juventus chase to land Wolves’ winger Adama Traore

Adama Traoré Diarra is a Spanish winger or wing-back who plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers and is known for his outstanding pace. He has proven to be a key player for Nuno Espirito Santo’s team. But a new report from ESPN suggests that if the Wolves fail to qualify for the Champions League, he will be moving this summer.

Now, already the ex Barcelona’s B team player is pursuited by his former club but most likely, Manchester City & Juventus is leading the race to land the Spaniard. The 24-year old moved to Wolves from Middlesbrough in an £18 million deal in August 2018 and since then he has played wonderful football, and Wolves were one of the teams who defeated the champions Liverpool this season.

He has become one of the most improved players in the Premier League this season as he scored four goals and registered nine assists, second only to Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne. However, if Wolves somehow miss the qualification, Manchester City and Juventus are ready to pounce on the winger to get him this summer. Barcelona needs 12 months to sign the player as they want to focus on outgoings from Camp Nou at the end of this season.

On the other hand, Juventus also wants the 24-year old winger to make its attack stronger and younger. So, currently, these two teams look desperate to get Adama’s signature, while, Barcelona can only bring him to Camp Nou if Traore spends another year at Wolves.

EMUI 11 to release in Q3 2020 – Official report

As we all know, EMUI is the Android Skin made by the company itself for Huawei smartphones only. In certain devices, it is also known as Magic UI. The latest version EMUI 10.1 or Magic UI 3.1 is already in the market inside the P40 series smartphones and now, the release of EMUI 11 is announced by the Software Head of Huawei.

Huawei celebrated the 8th Anniversary of EMUI and Huawei Club on this 4th July. At that stage, the President of Huawei Consumer Business Software, Dr. Wang Chenglu disclosed the EMUI 11 launch that is in Q3 this year and also shared some of his opinions.

He talked about four major releases of EMUI version that starts with the launch of EMUI 5.0 in 2016, though EMUI first introduced in 2012. After that, the next major release is EMUI 8.0 that has the AI features as well as GPU Turbo Technology. The third one is EMUI 9.0 which brings to us the APK compiler, EROFS read-only file system, and Link Turbo.

As per Dr. Chenglu, the EMUI 11 is going to be the fourth one that will launch in this Q3 and the Android Skin will be applied to the upcoming Mate 40 series first.

The launch of the Mate 40 series was expected in October 2020, but this official speech confirms it is coming in or before September this year.

Google and Apple launches ‘COVID-19 exposure notifications’ on your phone

Apple and Google have collaborated together to build the ‘COVID-19 exposure notification’ feature in order to notify us whenever we come in contact with a COVID-19 positive person.

Do really Apple and Google have silently installed COVID-19 trackers on your phone?

The ‘COVID-19 exposure notifications’ has been rolled out in both iOS and Android devices. But, they haven’t installed any tracker on your phone. This feature requires a supporting health app to work which means that an app or service has not been installed silently on your device.

Unfortunately, the ‘COVID-19 tracker’ made by the tech-giants are disabled by default. This new feature remains disabled because it doesn’t have a supporting app in India. The Aarogya Setu app made by the Indian government has an in-built contact-tracing API already. One of the reasons why the government hasn’t shown interest to link with this new feature on your phones is likely that the Government doesn’t want to rely on these APIs because of their strict privacy protocols which may result in losing control.

How can you access the feature on your phone?

If you’re an Android user: Go to Settings > Click on Google > The first option shows ‘Covid-19 Exposure Notifications’.

If you’re an iPhone user: Go to Settings > Privacy > Health > The first feature on top shows ‘Covid-19 Exposure Logging’.

How does this contact-tracing feature work?

Your phone and the phones around you will work in the background to exchange these privacy-preserving random IDs via Bluetooth. You do not need to have the app open for this process to take place. Your phone periodically checks all the random IDs associated with positive COVID-19 cases against its own list.

If there’s a match, the app will notify you with further instructions from your public health authority on how to keep you and the people around you safe.

Are your privacy secured, if you use this contact-tracing feature?

The ‘COVID-19 exposure notification’ feature is very much secure and it doesn’t trace you or your location. To help ensure these random IDs can’t be used to identify you or your location, they change every 10-20 minutes.

  • You can control whether you want to receive COVID-19 Exposure Notifications or not.
  • The Exposure Notifications System doesn’t track your location. It uses Bluetooth, which can be used to detect if two devices are near each other — without revealing where the devices are.
  • Neither Google, Apple, nor other users can see your identity. Only, Public health authorities may ask you for additional information, such as a phone number, to contact you with additional guidance.
  • Only public health authorities can get access to this technology, only if their apps meet specific criteria around privacy, security, and data use.

There has been a widespread rumour spread through social media, mainly WhatsApp and Facebook, that your privacy is not secured as Apple and Google have inserted sensor or tracker on your phone. This is not true. The contact-tracing feature only works if you have a supporting app from the public health authorities. Along with this, it uses random IDs so that you or your location can’t be identified.

MediaTek Dimensity chips have totally changed the game in the mid-range smartphone market, which is growing more these days. Also, 5G getting standardized more these days, there new mid-range devices with MediaTek Dimensity chips obviously have their own advantages as well, first of all they have 5G and has amazing performance.

All flagships come with Snapdragon 865 chipset and it’s the minor tweaks like storage, RAM, OS, cooling, etc, actually make the subtle difference to make huge scores in benchmarks like AnTuTu. The top 10 most powerful Android smartphone list for June 2020 is based on the statistics collected in China, so it does not concern the international market.

We have 3 smartphones from Oppo in the Top 5, Vivo’s iQOO also find a place in the list and also there’s the Redmi K30 Pro, Realme X50 Pro. Surprisingly, OnePlus 8 Pro with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage found the last place in the list with just 584,596 points overtaken by Meizu 17 Pro with 587,527 points.

Surprisingly most of the smartphones have 12GB RAM, however, 3 smartphones come with 8GB RAM only and beats a lot of 12GB RAM options as well. Oppo Find X2, iQOO Neo 3 and Redmi K30 Pro are the smartphones which really show their power, entering the top 10 list even with 8GB RAM, which is increasing these days.

BSNL’s ₹599 Work from Home Prepaid Plan to provide 5GB/day for 90 days

BSNL launched its new prepaid tariff voucher plan for the wireless consumers keeping in mind the Work from Home scenario during this pandemic. The plan is called Combo599 that costs ₹599 and valid for 90 days.

The consumers of this plan will get 5GB of high-speed data per day for the next 90 days. After completion of the 5GB high-speed data in a day, the speed will be reduced to 80kbps. Along with the internet facility, on each day you will get 250 minutes free call duration to any network all over India and 100 SMSes. If you exceed the 250 minutes limit, the company will charge as per your base plan.

To avail this new plan, you need to send an SMS ‘STV COMBO599’ to 123. The COMBO599 plan is firstly revealed by the BSNL Chennai on their official Twitter page. Then confirmed the availability, to NDTV, in allover India. Though, there are only two exceptions i.e. J&K and Nicobar Islands.

Before the launch of this plan, BSNL previously already made available the Work@Home plan for its landline customers, under that one can get 5 GB daily data at 10 Mbps speed. Post completion, the speed will reduce to 1 Mbps. A long term plan also comes to the market with daily 250 minutes of call and 100 SMSes for 600 days at ₹2399.
