The Indian men’s regu team lost to Thailand 0-2. But India picked up a bronze medal as both the losing semifinalists were also awarded a medal.
It was a ‘victory in defeat’ for the Indian men’s sepak takraw team. India settled for its maiden Asian Games bronze medal in this sport. They were beaten by a formidable Thailand in the semi-finals.
Sepak Takraw is one of the least heard sports in India. Still now more than half of the population doesn’t even know about this sport’s existence. So to win India’s first ever medal in this sport is a big achievement for this team. Sepak takraw, which directly translates to kick the ball, has been part of the Games program since 1990. India has participated in this sport since the 2006 edition. The sport has a huge following in the South East Asian countries and India is slowly catching with them. Thailand has won a whopping 22 gold medals at the Games and Myanmar is a distant second in the list with five gold.
The Indian team trained in Thailand for the past two months. This training made a huge difference, according to chief coach Hem Raj. Eight of the 12 members of the squad are from Manipur and the rest are from Delhi. The sport is quite popular in Manipur. It is primarily because of its proximity to Myanmar.
“Yes, that is how the sport became so popular in Manipur. It is close to Myanmar and it has always been easy to source equipment from there. Now we use synthetic balls but back in the day, we used to get balls made of bamboo. That was the traditional way of playing the sport,” said another team official Muhindro Singh Thokchom.
The men’s team is not done yet and promises another medal in regu. The women’s team failed to win a medal but they too are improving fast. “We should have a women’s medal in the next edition. As I said, we are only going to up from here,” summed chief coach Raj, who has already set his sights on a World Championship medal next month.

Finally, NVIDIA unveils the 20-series RTX graphics card with Ray tracing technology to make a huge leap in PC gaming
As speculated, NVIDIA had been working on the 20-series of their RTX graphics series. And finally, they have unveiled them yesterday that will bring an evolution in every sector.
The 20-series GPUs will have the very first GDDR6 graphics memory that will bring a huge leap in image processing. NVIDIA unveiled their 3 new top end graphics card: RTX 2070, 2080 & 2080Ti.
The company announced the RTX 20-series during a pre-Gamescom 2018 live stream from Cologne, Germany. These graphics cards are based on Nvidia’s new Turing architecture. Nvidia also revealed its first Turing-based products: three GPUs in the company’s Quadro line, which is geared toward professional applications.
The new 20-series cards will succeed Nvidia’s current top-of-the-line GPUs, the GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1080 and GTX 1080 Ti. The RTX graphics cards bring together real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading.
Features of the RTX 20-series graphics card:

4K
Step up to the ultimate 4K gaming experience with GeForce RTX and enjoy today’s biggest games in amazing detail.
Performance of the cards:
The RTX series graphics card will be 6 times faster than the GTX series graphics cards. Even RTX 2070 beats the fastest GTX 1080Ti by 6 times. The new cards also introduce a tensor core cluster which adds machine learning and AI capabilities to the overall image processing… They can intelligently predict decision making and steps to improve the image as it is processed in the internal pipeline.
The combination of these improvements, says NVIDIA, is so complex that a new metric had to be invented which they defined as RT operations…
The new graphics cards will use the higher speed GDDR6 memory for faster graphical works… Jen-Hsun, the CEO of NVIDIA told that the shaders in the raster engine were 1.5x more power efficient than the immediate predecessors in the 10 series.
We cannot expect a high change in the frame rates, but we can expect is some visual wonders while enjoying the game. You can expect scenes in the games sharper and more real just like Hollywood movies. Here’s the trailer of the Battlefield V that will support this card for gaming experiences:
Real-time ray tracing is coming to #BattlefieldV with GeForce RTX.
With Ray Tracing, scenes in games will be more sharp, accurate, vivid and more life-like. Ray tracing is the standard for applications such as visual effects in the film industry, but it is extremely computationally intensive.
Nvidia’s RTX platform incorporates two existing technologies, programmable shaders and artificial intelligence.
10 years of R&D has lead to the formation of these cards. The ray tracing will render objects, environments with physically accurate shadows, reflections, and global illumination in ways we’ve only previously seen in pre-recorded demos or even in Hollywood AAA titles.
NVIDIA has optimized its CUDA cores and using a hybrid approach to use both its cores and Ray Tracing technology to render scenes. The optimized raster engine works for hand in hand with the ray tracing engine to maximize visual quality.
To make this possible in the shortest time possible all these games will be utilizing the latest DirectX Raytracing (DXR) from Microsoft.

Industry’s leading processor manufacturer AMD, plans to deliver products that will be 25x more power efficient by 2020
AMD has always been driving innovation and encouraging the industry with its revolutionary products. They have shaken the tech giant Intel with its processors.
What AMD has been failed to achieve in years is their power efficiency. AMD’s old APUs have consumed more power and generated a lot of heat. This made users shift to Intel who always been power efficient and driving about every machinery on this earth.
With Ryzen, AMD has just taken a leap in performance. They have literally shaken Intel with their products. But has AMD become smarter in every aspect? Well no…
Why AMD needs to be more power efficient?
Though they have beaten Intel with respect to performance, on the other hand still people prefer Intel. It is because Intel delivers performance with lesser power consumption.
Though both the processors have the same TDP, AMD’s one accounts to consume a bit more power than the Intel. Especially for laptops, Intel processors are quite standardized because they deliver great performance with low power consumption.
Intel’s Hyperthreading makes its processors more efficient. On the other, the Precision Boost that has been implemented by AMD on Ryzen seems promising but not that great especially for laptops and for those things that require less power.
For desktop processors, AMD has delivered brilliant performance when compared to the price of their products. In a few aspects such as overclocking, security and bringing unique features like SesnseMi, StoreMi and others, AMD has excelled.
So, to become the most powerful yet the coolest, AMD needs to pull up its socks…
What is AMD aiming to achieve?
AMD has made a roadmap to achieve more efficiency through their processors. From their first Ryzen to 2020’s Ryzen, efficiency is planned to increased 25 times.
AMD has already planned to improve their architecture with years to come. By 2020 they aim the 10nm architecture that will drive ultimate performance with much more efficiency…
They have started to power offices, workstations, and other heavy workload fields. Now everyone wants more performance with less power consumption.
That’s AMD wants to achieve by 2020 to secure its users. Gone are the day’s people complaining AMD of the power consumption issues. The Zen architecture has been the key to AMD’s success, which they plan to improve with days to come.

“This is one of the best cameras to have with me. I’m still not facing any kind of issues with this device and mostly I like the camera very much, as I’m a bit lover of pictures so I was looking for a camera phone within my budget. The selfie camera is one of the best cameras in the market right now.
Many users all around the world have reviewed this device among which we chose one,
“The camera performance of this device is the best… in this price range I think Redmi Note 5 Pro is the perfect DSLR.” – Soumalya Laha
3. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1
This is one of the most powerful smartphones with an awesome camera. This is device is fully packed with amazing specs that will blow your mind.
Here is a sample picture clicked from its rear camera. From this picture, one can clearly tell that the picture depth isn’t much like the other two devices we mentioned. Still the performance of the camera is far better than many other devices under this price range.
The Aus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has a 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera which can capture stunning photographs in daylights and even in low light conditions. But this camera is not so much eye-catching as the previous two smartphones that we mentioned. But surely you can consider this device regarding its other specs which are truly amazing at this price range. Even the front camera
Realme the recently most popular smartphone brand for its first device Realme 1 has one of the best cameras regarding the price range. Maybe Realme 1 is the perfect smartphone with a perfect combination of performance and cameras.
Yes, the camera section is all that truly matters buyers right? So, Oppo, the global camera smartphone brand kept no disappointment for you in this section as well. Well, Real Me 1 packs the 13MP rear camera which is capable to take great pics truly just because of the AI on board. You may ask me that’s too low and there’s no secondary camera so, how this gonna take portrait shots? If you just know that 2 camera is ultimate for clicking good bokeh shots, then you are wrong. I am using Oppo A83 which packs the same camera, speaking honestly it takes portrait shots quite well in comparison with Redmi Note 5 Pro. Though it has the only 8MP for the front bearer. But speaking truly I use my 8MP shooter on Oppo A83 to take selfies which perform far better than Redmi Note 5 Pro’s 20MP camera. This just because of the AI onboard and intelligent software. You can’t challenge Real Me 1’s camera at all especially at such price offering.
Though Realme was a sub-brand of Oppo, a month ago Realme separated itself from its parent company and is now an individual smartphone brand. This brand has the same name Realme and is all set to launch their next smartphone with the name Realme 2, which is offering much more interesting features than the Realme 1.
So, these are some of the most popular smartphones present in the market with some of the best cameras within the Rs.15,000 ($215) price tag. There are many other smartphones at this price but we consider these four smartphones to have the best cameras among them. Do let us know what do you think about these smartphones and their camera performances. If you have any other opinion other than this do let us know in the comment section below.

Vinesh Phogat becomes the first Indian woman wrestler to win a gold medal at the Asian Games in the Women’s Freestyle 50 kg wrestling.
Vinesh was a medal-favourite in her category and brushed aside her rivals with remarkable ease in the 50 kg category. But she was likely to face stiff competition from Japan’s Yuki Irie whom she outplayed 6-2 in the final.
It is surely a ground-breaking achievement for the 23-year-old firebrand Haryana wrestler. She is connected to the Phogat family, whcih we saw in the much famed Dangal movie.
Vinesh Phogat put behind her heart-breaking loss at the Olympics two years ago. She began her victorious campaign with a revenge win against Chinese Yanan Sun. She suffered that terrible leg injury against Yanan Sun, which cut short her journey in Rio. But this time she beat her 8-2. In the next round she defeated Korea’s Hyungjoo Kim by technical superiority. She ended the bout with a four-point throw. Her semifinal lasted just 75 seconds as she moved into the final with a ‘fitley’. She was already 4-0 up. And then rolled over her opponent thrice with leg-lock.
Vinesh Phogat also becomes the only woman wrestler to win two medals in back-to-back Asian Games. She had earlier won a bronze medal in the 48kg category at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. She has also won back-to-back gold medals in Glasgow and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games this year.
