Diablo IV's Season 4 Unveils: Loot Reborn - A Game-Changing Update

Unprecedented Itemization and Customization:

Itemization Overhaul: The way players interact with items is undergoing a significant transformation. Base affixes will see a simplification, making it easier for players to evaluate items at a glance. These items can then be enhanced and tailored to fit specific builds, streamlining the customization process.
Introducing Tempering: Gear customization reaches new heights with the Tempering system. By visiting a blacksmith, players can choose a recipe for Tempering, attaching a random affix from the selected recipe to their gear. Recipes can be found across nearly all content in Sanctuary, opening doors to endless customization possibilities.
Codex of Power Updates: Responding to player feedback, the Codex of Power has been expanded to include every legendary item, enabling players to imprint the optimal version of any legendary onto their gear without the clutter of aspect crystals.
Greater Affixes: Discover the power of Greater Affixes, a rare and valuable type of affix that offers higher-than-usual values. These can be found on Ancestral drops in World Tier 4, offering players the chance to further refine their builds.
Masterworking and The Pit: For those ready to push their builds to the limits, Masterworking allows upgrading of affixes to supreme values. Successfully honed builds can then be tested in The Pit, a challenging endgame system that rewards victorious players with rare crafting materials for further enhancements.

Immersive Endgame Experiences:

Revamped Helltides: Diablo IV Season 4 brings an updated and more intense Helltide experience, where players will encounter a slew of new activities, including battles against cultists, demons, doomsayers, and the formidable Hellborn.
Accursed Rituals and the Blood Maiden: Engage in Accursed Rituals, botched ceremonies that lure demons for epic confrontations, culminating in a showdown with the Blood Maiden, a new Helltide mini-boss and the season’s ultimate challenge.
Team Up with the Iron Wolves: Join forces with the Iron Wolves in their noble fight against Hell. Progress through the Call of the Wolves Seasonal activities to earn honor and unlock valuable rewards to bolster your Seasonal Journey.
