Vodafone Idea (Vi) has been losing customers steadily due to the absence of 5G connectivity and subpar 4G speeds in many areas. One perk for Vi customers used to be unlimited data during midnight hours. However, competitors like Reliance Jio and Bharati Airtel have also begun providing unlimited data to users with 5G smartphones and access to a 5G network.
Regrettably, the offer mentioned above will only be accessible to a limited number of individuals since 5G connectivity remains restricted in several regions of India. To address this concern, Vi has introduced two new programs that offer unlimited nighttime data usage. Furthermore, the company has launched a plan with a validity period of 250 days.
All About the Vi’s ₹17 and ₹57 plan-
Vi offers two prepaid plans, namely the ₹17 plan and the ₹57 plan. The ₹17 plan provides a validity period of 24 hours, with unlimited night data usage between 12 AM and 6 AM. However, this plan does not include outgoing SMS or service validity. In other words, if you want to make calls or send SMS messages, you will need to recharge with another plan.
On the other hand, the ₹57 plan offers more benefits and a longer validity period of seven days (168 hours). Like the ₹17 plan, it provides unlimited night data, but it also does not include service validity or outgoing SMS support.
Vi ₹1999 Prepaid Plan
Vi has recently launched a new prepaid plan priced at ₹1999, offering an impressive validity period of 250 days. This plan provides unlimited calling without any limitations on minutes and allows for up to 100 outgoing SMS per day. Users will also receive a daily data allowance of 1.5GB throughout the entire duration of the 250-day validity period. After surpassing the specified data limit, the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps. It’s worth noting that beyond the daily limit of 100 SMS, charges apply for additional outgoing SMS at ₹1 for local messages and ₹1.5 for STD messages.
The prepaid plan priced at ₹1999 is ideal for users seeking a hassle-free experience with unlimited calls and data. It offers an extended validity period, allowing uninterrupted services for an extended duration. However, it’s important to keep in mind that data speeds may be reduced, and charges may apply for outgoing SMS messages that exceed the specified limits.
