Jio, a prominent telecommunications operator in India, has introduced the “Happy New Year Offer 2024,” specifically targeting its prepaid user base. The focal point of this offer involves a modification to one of their longstanding annual prepaid plans. Specifically, the ₹2,999 plan has undergone an extension of 24 days, augmenting its usual 365-day validity to a total of 389 days under this special offer.

All About the Jio Happy New Year Offer:

This extension is exclusive to the ₹2,999 plan and does not alter the existing benefits associated with the plan. Instead, it provides users with an elongated duration at a reduced per-day cost, presenting a more economical solution.

On its Terms and Conditions page on the official website, Jio has included a thorough explanation of the terms and conditions of this agreement to help with clarity. Customers who choose the ₹2,999 long-term prepaid recharge plan will be given a coupon with a 24-hour validity. With the use of this voucher, the plan’s lifetime is extended beyond the standard 365-day validity term by an additional 24 days, for a total of 389 days of continuous service. This plan may be bought via the Jio prepaid plan page on their website or the MyJio apps.

Throughout this extended period, customers will retain the same benefits available during the regular validity period. However, the daily cost for users effectively decreases from ₹8.21 per day to ₹7.70 per day. Within this prolonged period, users can continue to enjoy 2.5GB of 4G data per day.

The prepaid plan encompasses unlimited voice calls and 100 free SMS per day. Additionally, it offers access to unlimited 5G data, with availability contingent on regional 5G network coverage. Subscribers to this plan can also utilise JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud services.

Notably, the JioCinema subscription included in this package is the standard version, and users interested in the premium JioCinema subscription can acquire it separately for ₹1,499 via the JioCinema portal. Conversely, the JioTV Premium subscription provides access to up to 14 different OTT apps as part of a single plan.
