How Week Two Played Out?
After a strong opening week of Rs 49.75 crore, the film earned Rs 3.25 crore on its second Friday, Rs 2 crore on Saturday and Rs 3 crore on Sunday. Then came the Monday dip. Pinkvilla notes the collection fell about 75 per cent from the second Friday, bringing the total to Rs 58.80 crore nett.
Why the Slowdown?
The main culprit is the competition. Pinkvilla says the film took a major dent from the blockbuster run of Drishyam: The Conclusion. The report adds that with a clean second week, the film might have had a chance at “Clean HIT” status.
Where Will It End?
Current trends suggest the film is heading toward a final total of Rs 65 to 70 crore nett in India, which Pinkvilla calls a decent total. These are trade estimates, so final numbers may shift.
