A film can start like a clean hit and still end up as an average one. That is the story of The Vvaan so far. Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s mythological drama opened strongly with Rs 49.75 crore in week one, then ran straight into Drishyam: The Conclusion, and its second weekend took a hit. Detail	Figure
Week 1 nett	Rs 49.75 cr
2nd Friday	Rs 3.25 cr
2nd Saturday	Rs 2.00 cr
2nd Sunday	Rs 3.00 cr (est.)
2nd weekend total	Rs 8.25 cr
10-day India total	Rs 58.00 cr
Expected Week 2 close	Rs 13-15 cr

A Strong Start, a Tough Second Weekend

The Vvaan wrapped up its second weekend at Rs 8.25 crore nett, which pushed its running total to Rs 58 crore at the Indian box office. Those are decent numbers on paper, but the trend is the real worry. The film is expected to close its second week at around Rs 13 to 15 crore, a steep fall from the opening week. Facing a big new release in Ajay Devgn’s thriller, it needed a better hold this weekend, and it did not get one. Trade tracking says the film was poised to be a clean hit, but the second-weekend drop turned it into an average affair.

What Is The Vvaan About?

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, The Vvaan: Force of the Forest follows Rishi, an engineer who returns to his ancestral village in Bihar with his wife to settle a family property dispute. The visit takes an unexpected turn when a development project threatens a sacred forest, pulling Rishi into a centuries-old mystery. As myth and reality collide, he must embrace his destiny to protect his village and restore the balance between faith and nature. Alongside Sidharth Malhotra (you can read his background on Wikipedia) and Tamannaah Bhatia, the cast includes Anup Soni, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari and Maniesh Paul.

What Happens Next?

The coming week will decide how the film’s story ends. A steady weekday hold could help it climb toward a more comfortable total, but a further slide would leave it as just an average performer. The Sunday figure is an estimate, and all numbers are trade projections rather than certified accounts, so small revisions are possible. Want to see how the other releases are doing?
