MediaTek is known for making great budget SoCs and its new Dimensity series mobile SoCs defines flagship performance for mid-range smartphones. Also, both the Dimensity 1000L and Dimensity 800 SoCs have 5G support, enabling 5G options on mid-range devices as well.
Already we know that the Dimensity 1000L SoC is more powerful than the recently launched Snapdragon 765G but a MediaTek Dimensity 800-powered smartphone is yet to get launched.
The MediaTek Dimensity 800 Series is a performance powerhouse that pairs four big Arm Cortex-A76 cores operating up to 2GHz, with four power-efficient Arm Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2GHz. It is also backed by the new quad-core Mali-G77 MP9 GPU.
Xiaomi will be unveiling its Note 9 series on March 12 and we expect it to go big and it might be possible for the company to use this SoC on their most successful Redmi Note series. According to a Weibo post, the brand may deliver a phone that supports display refresh rates of up to 90Hz.
Using this SoC in a budget smartphone range might bolster Xiaomi’s success in India, unlike its competitor Realme who are pricing devices less aggressively this time. The Dimensity 800 can supply many of the same AI camera enhancements as the Dimensity 1000 along with 5G support.
Xiaomi Mi 10 series will be launching on 27th March, the global launch will be focusing on the two smartphones of Mi 10 series i.e. Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The Mi 10 series will be having a 108MP quad-camera setup and a punch-hole camera at the front. The Mi 10 Pro now sits at the top of DxOMark’s camera ranking for smartphone photography.
The global launch event will be a live session and the launch will be live on the company’s official Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook accounts. This is the first time Xiaomi has gone all out with its camera hardware and the result is also fruitful with the highest DxOMark’s camera ranking for smartphone photography.

The official international pricing of the Mi 10 series is not known yet but we do know the pricing in China and from that, we can guess the international pricing as well. The Mi 10 price in China starts at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs.40,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, and goes up to CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs.47,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. As for the Mi 10 Pro, the base 8GB + 256GB configuration starts CNY 4,999 (roughly Rs.50,000), while the top-of-the–line 12GB + 512GB variant will set buyers back by CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs.60,000).

The Chinese tech site MyDrivers has published an article about the numerous rumours about the Xbox Series S console or Lockhart is expected to be revealed sooner than expected. The reported $300 price of this console suggests that it will be targeted at those who want to enjoy next-gen console technology under a more restrictive budget.
The Xbox Series S console will not have an optical drive – similar to the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition to save the bucks. Talking about the hardware, what we can expect is 16 GB of total RAM (12 GB for the GPU and 4 GB for the OS) along with a 4 GHz AMD Ryzen custom APU along with GPU compute performance of 4 TFLOPS.
Its might be surprising for you that the Xbox Series X will feature 12 TFLOPS of GPU horsepower but the Xbox Series S console will feature only 4 TFLOPS of graphical performance.
But MyDrivers has said that due to AMD’s advanced RDNA technology, the Lockhart console will actually produce a better gaming performance than its predecessor, based out of GCN 4 architecture.
So, the lower teraflop figure shouldn’t bother you that much if you tend to purchase the upcoming Xbox Series S, which Microsoft actually needs confirming its existence.
Real Madrid edged past their eternal rivals Barcelona in last weekend’s El Clasico. They went one point clear at the top of the table.
This weekend Barcelona won 1-0 against Real Sociedad and Real Madrid succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Real Betis. This loss has undone all the hard work Real Madrid had done last weekend and could also cost them the LaLiga title. Barcelona are on top of the table with a two points cushion.

Barcelona’s main centre back, Gerard Pique has backed his assistant coach after his controversial comments at the sidelines in the match against Real Madrid. Eder Sarabia is the man who instils energy behind Quique Setien’s smart tactics and he is known to be passionate about the game.
Gerard Pique has said that Barcelona’s players weren’t bothered by Eder Sarabia’s behaviour during El Clasico that actually made headlines all the week. The assistant coach made his frustration at his players clear on the touchline and there were speculations about the players not being happy with his antics.
The 61-year Manager Quique Setien has explained since then that apologies have been made, but Pique said the players were not that bothered about the whole incident.
“His behaviour is completely normal. The assistant coach is full of adrenaline, it’s all completely normal for us. The boss apologised and we told him that it wasn’t because of us; in any case, it was because of the image of the club.”
”We really don’t care; in fact, we like that there’s intensity in the dugout and they’re living [the game] too. We always have to go out to disprove it, then we go out and nothing else.”
Eder Sarabia has spoken about the events at the Santiago Bernabeu and he said his “essence won’t change” but did concede he needs to lead by example.

Samsung is going to launch another smartphone in the M series and it is said to be the Samsung Galaxy M21 on March 16. It is been notified by the industry to the IANS on Saturday.
The Samsung Galaxy M21 is likely to have a 48MP triple rear cameras, 20MP selfie camera and a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display in addition to a massive 6,000mAh battery, IANS reported citing industry sources. The device is tipped to be powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC and may come in two variants — 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM +128GB internal storage.

TCL has unveiled two new concepts foldable devices similar to the Samsung Fold. This device has three folds, unlike the Galaxy Fold which has only two folds. The devices are concepts proposed by the company and can be some changes in the final product.
One of the devices TCL has shown has two folds and that can be folded twice to use as a normal smartphone, but when unfolded the phone can be used as a tablet. Like the Samsung Galaxy Fold, this device will only feature one extra fold which will make the device even wider than the Samsung Galaxy Fold while unfolded.
Another concept device that was showcased has a slightly different idea than any other device in the market. This phone can be used as a normal-sized smartphone and also as a full-sized tablet also without a folding mechanism.
This device will have a flexible folding screen which will be rolled at a side of the phone inside it. While using normally the phone has a screen size like an ordinary smartphone, then there is a separate mechanism that will slide out a portion from the side of the device and the flexible screen will get rolled out making it a full-sized tablet with a perfect screen.
The rolling and sliding mechanism will be controlled from within the device as showcased by the brand. This is a very amazing idea of getting a bigger screen, now this will fix the complaint issues regarding the creases in the folding devices.

AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 5 4650U with 15W TDP has been leaked, and it seems to be giving an impressive performance at the Fire Strike recently and the tipster @_rogame spotted it for the upcoming Renoir chip.
The Ryzen 5 4650U scored 2600 points on the Fire Strike graphics test which is over 80% higher than the Intel’s Comet Lake Core i7-10710U, which scored just 1444 points. Although in the CPU based physics test Ryzen 5 4650U did score 23% lower than the Intel CPU.

The low boost clock speed of the Ryzen 5 4650U makes it a bit slower than the Core i7-10710U in multi-core CPU power. Even though the 15W Ice Lake U chips like the Core i7-1065G7 has better graphics performance than the Comet Lake U CPUs but their performance isn’t on par with the Renior chips, the 15W Core i7-1065G7 featuring Intel’s Iris Plus G7 iGPU trails behind the Ryzen 5 4650U by about 10%.
If this leak turns out to be true then the AMD Ryzen 4000 powered laptops will deliver immense performance both on the CPU as well as on the graphics front within the same 15W TDP for notebooks, ultrabooks and even on small form-factor PCs as well. Only time will tell how these APUs perform in real-world in the coming days.
