0

Realme has started rolling out its monthly update for both Realme 3 and Realme 3i smartphones. The update is 147mb in size and the build number is RMX1821EX_11.A.26.

The latest update for both the devices packs in the latest android security patch of March 2020 and also fixes some of the bugs in the devices. The update also adds a feature called the VoWifi over the Airtel and Jio networks all over India for the Indian customers.

Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi) is a term typically employed to describe the delivery of commercial telephony services using Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies from mobile devices connected across Wi-Fi.

LaLiga has suspended the 2019-20 season indefinitely due to Coronavirus pandemic

0

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused all the football matches to be suspended. The whole world is in lockdown to tackle the COVID-19 virus. There have been more than 33,000 cases and over 2,000 deaths in Spain so far.

LaLiga was previously postponed till April but the conditions haven’t got any better. So now LaLiga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have agreed to extend the suspension of the 2019-20 season indefinitely.

LaLiga was suspended on 12th March when the whole of Real Madrid squad was sent into quarantine after one of their basketball players tested positive.

With the Euro and Copa America moved to 2021, the European Leagues were supposed to be completed by 30th June. But now it seems to be difficult to complete the season by 30th June because of the current world situation.

laliga

The RFEF released an official statement, which read: “The RFEF and LaLiga agree the suspension of professional soccer competitions until the competent authorities of the government of Spain and the general state administration consider that they can be resumed and this does not pose any risk to health.”

“Both the RFEF and LaLiga want to show their greatest public gratitude to all those who are dedicating their best efforts to provide essential services to Spaniards, and we also wish to show our sincere remembrance for all the deceased and a warm embrace from the world of soccer for all families that are losing loved ones.”

The 2019-20 LaLiga season will be completed but the question is when? As it seems now, this season will go on for a long time.

Apple Mac mini only gets its storage doubled in 2020, starts at the same $799

0

The Cupertino giant has upgraded a lot of its products quietly like its new iPad Pro, MacBook Air while its popular Mac mini gets its storage doubled at no extra cost in 2020. In the midst of this, the Mac mini gets a lesser hype from the fans but is a really useful device among enthusiasts.

It’s very disappointing to see Apple has not changed the CPU and RAM configurations so still the Mac mini comes with 8th gen Intel CPUs but with double the SSD storage at no additional cost at least as per the US home market. So exceptionally, the Mac mini (2018) remains the same as the new Mac mini (2020).

Apple’s new Mac mini entry model starts from US$799 and features quad-core 8th gen Intel Core i3 clocked at 3.6 GHz without any Turbo Boost or multi-threading. Like the base model of MacBook Air (2020), the base SSD storage of 128GB has been doubled to 256GB while the RAM remains to be 8GB.

Apple Mac mini only gets its storage doubled in 2020, starts at the same $799

The next US$1,099 model is equipped with a 6-core 8th gen Intel Core i5 processor with a base clock of 3.0 GHz, offering Turbo Boost clock of up to 4.10 GHz along with 8GB of RAM. You can even configure your Mac mini with up to Intel Core i7 that offers both Turbo Boost clock of 4.6GHz and hyper-threading along with up to 64GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD.

The Mac mini still includes 4x Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, 2x USB 3.0 Type-A ports, 10/100/1000 Ethernet (configurable to 10Gb), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It also features 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 in terms of connectivity along with Apple’s T2 security chip.

The best configuration of the Mac mini with top-of-line specs will cost you around US$2,899 and its clear that in 2020 no upgrade on the CPU front can be expected as we see on the MacBook Air and due to the Coronavirus situation availability of the Apple products might be questionable for the fans as well. Quique Setien wants Carles Alena for Barca’s next season

0

Carles Alena is all known to be a very talented young Barca player who was not given proper chance in the first team under Valverde and was so loaned out to Real Betis in the January transfer window. Now, the situation has changed and the 61-year old Spaniard coach is heading the Blaugranas.

Setien wants Carles Alena for Barca's next season

When the season’s end is uncertain, Barca is already wasting no time to shape its future especially when ‘magical’ Messi is in the limelight of his career and this season we haven’t seen a positive Barcelona in the midfield, so naturally, Barca board will be tensed to strengthen its squad in the next season.

The Blaugranas already have some brilliant midfielders like De Jong, Arthur, Vidal, Rakitic, Busquets but it seems Arthur is not at his best and Rakitic along with Vidal will be shown the door next season so Barca’s asset Carles Alena who is currently at loan will be vital next season.

Setien wants Carles Alena for Barca's next season

Sport has reported that Quique Setien wants the midfielder at the club next season and he does think Alena is a useful resource to be played between the lines. Barcelona has already told Alena that they need him in the squad for the 2020-21 season.

Also, there are reports which also says he does have other offers from big clubs as well. The 22-year old was frustrated due to his lack of game time under Valverde and we saw him activate a clause in his contract and to go out on loan in January.

Setien wants Carles Alena for Barca's next season

Alena has made 10 appearances for Real Betis in all competitions since the two months of his stay at the club among which his game against Barcelona was phenomenal and his passes were great. It will be interesting how he plays under Setien in the upcoming season and help his squad in the midfield.

Griezmann up for sale, Barcelona target City’s Aymeric Laporte

0

The World-Cup winner Antoine Griemann has been speculated to be used as a bait by the club to get new summer signings to strengthen the squad which seems unfair given only a season to prove his huge transfer of €120 million.

Sport claims that Barcelona has already put Antoine Griezmann up for sale and would be willing to sell the French striker for €100 million. This case is identical to Coutinho’s wherein the club actually had no solid plans of his placement in the squad which ultimately made him a ‘burden’ at the club and Griezmann was brought this season to bolster their attack.

Griemann up for sale, Barcelona target City's Aymeric Laporte

The Blaugranas are keen to improve the squad for the next season but aren’t willing to spending too much, which suggests selling Griezmann for a big sum that would allow them to reinvest on speculated targets like Lautaro Martinez, Neymar Jr.

Even though the fact remains that he has scored 14 goals this season, in difficult situations, he’s still not considered to be essential or a decisive player like Luis Saurez. Big clubs like Manchester United, PSG, Chelsea and Arsenal are being mentioned but it’s not sure whether any of them are seriously interested or not.

On the other hand, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona to bring in Aymeric Laporte from Manchester City to strengthen their defence for the next season and a replacement for ageing Pique.

Griemann up for sale, Barcelona target City's Aymeric Laporte

Manchester City, as for now, remains banned from the Champions League action for the next two seasons, giving hopes to Barca to tempt the centre-back away from the Etihad stadium.

Laporte has been a crucial member to City since his signing from Athletic back in January 2018 and his contract runs until 2025 after extension. The Blaugranas has been keen on Laporte before but now it seems they could reignite their interest as he is looked upon a key player to fits into Quique Setien’s style of football.

Already we’ve strong links of highly-priced players like Martinez, Neymar, David Alaba, Pau Torres so it’s very likely that many Barca players will be shown the doors to gather funds to bring new players to strengthen the club.

Kirin 820 SoC powered Honor 30S on par with the Snapdragon 855

Huawei did not make any major announcement of its smartphones amid the Coronavirus situation. But soon it seems they will virtually be launching a lot of stuff soon.

The alleged Huawei P40 series will be making its debut soon and in the mid of this it’s another brand Honor will be launching a smartphone on March 30th. Honor is set to launch the Honor 30S which will be the successor to the 20S featuring the new Kirin 820 SoC.

This new device should be 5G ready and so should be it’s SoC, so being a mid-range chip, the Kirin 820 SoC will be the only one to come integrated with 5G.

Kirin 820 SoC powered Honor 30S on par with the Snapdragon 855

According to ITHome, a Weibo tech blogger has got hold of this new chipset’s Geekbench 4 benchmarks. The user has even drawn up a graph comparing it against the 2 much better-known chipsets: the Kirin 980 and Snapdragon 855.

The graph shows the Kirin 820 capable of beating the 2-year-old flagship chipset from its own maker while giving a comparable performance to last year’s flagship Snapdragon 855 which seems promising from a mid-range SoC.

Getting such a powerful SoC on a mid-range device which is even 5G ready, it makes things great for users who both need performance and 5G at a significantly lower price point. It is rumoured that the Kirin 820 SoC consists of 8 ARM Cortex-A76 cores and an improved Mali-G67 GPU with 10 cores.

It seems the Kirin 820 will be the direct competitor to the Snapdragon 765 series which are also feature 5G connectivity. However, if leaks are true this Huawei’s chip would even more powerful than Snapdragon chips only the launch Honor 30S can actually depict the power of this SoC.
