As a result, Firework will be integrated into Xiaomi’s system app MI Video. That means all Xiaomi users can use Firework features from their MI Video app.
Indian MD of Firework, Mr Sunil Nair said, “We are providing a highly curated video feed customized for the countries when MI Video has released the Firework integration. All new features that are released across the Firework will be available to MI Video users.”

Philips has just expanded its gaming monitor portfolio and has introduced a new UltraWide gaming monitor with HDR support. The 345M1CR Momentum UltraWide gaming monitor, is being marketed to help you “take your console gaming experience to a new level.”
This suggests Philips is targeting the new Xbox Series X and Sony PlayStation5 users, which are supposed to be the ‘next-generation’ in the gaming console era, to pair these monitors for a better gaming experience.
Being a curved display, the Philips Momentum UltraWide monitor is 2.4x faster than a standard monitor due to its high 144 Hz refresh rate. The monitor packs a 34-inch ultra-wide screen has an anti-glare coating with 21:9 aspect ratio with a response time of just 4 ms.

Brazilian legend Ronaldinho was arrested in Paraguay citing a fake passport but he insists he was taken by surprise to know that the ID card was not legal.
Ronaldinho and his brother Roberto Assis arrived in Asuncion to promote a book and the launch of an online casino. Upon arrival, both of them were arrested on 6th March for fake ID cards.
He had to spend a month in jail and was then placed under house arrest on 8th April. He will have to stay under house arrest in Paraguay until a verdict is given. But Ronaldinho is still claiming that he didn’t know the ID was fake.
Ronaldinho told Paraguayan TV station ABC Color: “We were totally surprised to learn that the documents were not legal. Since then our intention has been to cooperate with justice to clarify the fact, as we did from the beginning. From that moment until today, we have explained everything and facilitated everything that justice asked of us.”
“It was a hard blow, I never imagined I would go through a situation like this. All my life I have sought to reach the highest professional level and bring joy to people with my football. We hope that they can use and confirm everything we provide as soon as our possible in the case and that we can leave this situation.”
“Everything we do is under contracts that are managed by my brother, who is my manager. In 2020, the smartphone market has seen a number of devices being launched and the Q1 of 2020 was not very much affected due to the lockdown until the last few days of March.
Various smartphone giants brought the budget to high-end flagships to the market this year. But according to Canalys, the overall market grew by a whopping 12% year-on-year for Q1 2020, with shipments hitting 33.5 million units.
Much expectedly, Xiaomi continued to rule the market to secure it’s no 1 spot, managing to increase its lead with a market share of 30.6 percent. The Chinese smartphone giant shipped 10.3 million smartphones in this quarter which market their annual growth as 8.4%.
The surprising part comes now as Vivo who was just behind Samsung both in terms of market share and number of units shipped has ultimately overtaken the South Korean giant by 1% margin.
Vivo has increased its shipments about a whopping 48.9%, to replace Samsung and becoming the second-largest smartphone vendor in the country. As per the report, Vivo has shipped 6.7 million units in India in Q1 2020, grabbing a market-share of just under 20%.
Samsung has shipped 6.3 million units, seeing a 13.7% year-on-year decline in units shipped. Still, Samsung holds 18.9% market share while Realme and Oppo made to the top-5 with 3.9 million and 3.5 million units, respectively.
Realme holds 11.7% market share while Oppo has 10.4% of it in Q1 2020. If compared with last year, Realme has seen a whopping 200% increase in smartphone sales while it’s parent company managed to increase by 22.4%.
Much expectedly, Canalys says that the Indian smartphone market will have a bad second quarter because of the pandemic, as the lockdown remains in force at least up to May 3rd which is likely to increase further.
In the meantime even if the lockdown gets over the economic crisis will not allow Indian people to afford smartphones at the rate they previously used to buy. Not to forget the fact the increased GST rates on smartphones will make things even worse.
Obviously, smartphone vendors will struggle with supply issues in the coming months. If the government relaxes the lockdown and allow e-commerce then still we could see sales of smartphone but not at the tremendous rate as it is in India.
According to Canalys analyst, Madhumita Chaudhary, the consumer demand will likely improve once the lockdown restrictions are lifted, but “worker availability, which depends heavily on opening state borders and allowing public transport, will be a key issue for vendors and ODMs”.
She also said the fact that the online channels will outperform offline channels significantly as the fear of the virus will prevent most of the people from going to retail stores or shopping malls.
While being interviewed for a magazine, Erin Hoffman-John, Stadia’s head of creative for R&D claimed that their Project Chimera, a Google machine learning solution, will help small independent teams to develop massive open-world titles without compromising on scope and detail.
Hoffman-John said this to MCVUK magazine: “What if a team of 14 people could make a game the scale of World of Warcraft?…they rely on a lot of heavy, repetitive content creation…like 70 percent content and 30 percent or less code.”
This Project Chimera is a GAN or Generative Adversarial Network, functionally similar to ESRGAN. It is a neural network modders used to upscale textures in older games.
Project Chimera’s machine learning trains itself on game rules, assets, and gameplay. Also developers will be able to use the GAN to generate world spaces, NPCs, and quests to make games using this project.
Hoffman-John also stated that Project Chimera can even be used for playtesting. This means it can potentially give small development teams valueable feedback on bugs and balancing issues as hundreds of human beta testers do.
Project Chimera and machine learning will play a much greater role in future videogame development and reduce the costs as well as manual labour. Obviously, this age of AI is driving very fast and even things are getting easier on the development side as well.
Prashanth Mani, country head of Motorola India, had shared a video teaser that explained the 108MP sensor of the Edge+ which is truly an extraordinary camera smartphone. The Motorola Edge+ launched a week ago globally and was available in few selected countries. There was no mention of its India launch at that time.

Motorola Edge+ 5G comes with a curved 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED waterfall-display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a 108MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and it is capable of recording 6K videos at 30fps. It is assisted by a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree field of view. There is also an 8MP telephoto camera that comes with OIS support and provides a 3x optical zoom output. Motorola has also provided a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. There is a 25MP camera on the front with an f/2.0 aperture.
Motorola Edge+ is powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 SoC packing alongside 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. There is 256GB of non-expandable UFS 3.0 storage on the phone. The phone is powered with a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging.
The Motorola Edge+ has the 3.5mm headphone jack, an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication, and is available in Smoky Sangria and Thunder Grey color options.

The price of Motorola Edge has not been revealed yet. The Motorola Edge+ price has been set at $999 (roughly Rs. 76,400).
Honor X10 is also surfacing recently as Zhao Ming’s Speech at Global Mobile Internet Conference confirmed the Honor X10 series. It is the successor of the Honor 9X. The name is a bit different and the company named it X10 instead of 10X to remove the confusion between Xiaomi’s recent and upcoming Redmi 10X.

Coming to the specifications we get – 6.63-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ (2400x1080px) resolution, Kirin 820 5G processor with 5G connectivity. The camera (front and rear) details have not been revealed yet. The phone will be powered by a 4,200mAh battery with a maximum of 22.5W wired charging. The dimensions of the phone are 163.7×76.5×8.8mm.
The price of the device should be the same price as Honor 9X which is around CNY 1000 or approximately €130 / Rs.10,700. The exact release time is still not mentioned by the company, so we guess there is some time before the official launch.
Each and everyday Meizu is posting a new poster revealing some new features of Meizu 17. Last two days the company has revealed that the smartphones will come with a 90Hz display and the main shooter among the quad-camera setup will be 64MP resolution with the IMX686 sensor which is provided by Sony.

Another interesting thing is revealed that the Pro version of the series will support wireless charging – Super Wireless mCharge. According to our previous reports, the phones will normally charge at 30W in a wired condition known as Super mCharger.
Previously the company has shared a few posters revealing the design of the device, the Snapdragon 865 processor, UFS 3.1 flash storage, 4500mAh battery, 30W wired charging, and 5G connectivity.
Meizu 17 will have rounded corners and will come with a punch-hole camera cut on the display. The phone will have a horizontally aligned quad-camera setup. The company also shared its partnership with PANDAER for designer back cover for the devices.
