The left-handed Dhawan put on 127 runs with opening partner Rohit Sharma as India reached 190 for one in 33 overs.

Dhawan was finally dismissed for 117 by Mitchell Starc in the 37th over. Dhawan and Sharma took the attack to the reigning champions’ bowlers after a cautious start against the Australia new-ball pair of Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc.

Eden Hazard explained his move to Real Madrid in an emotional open letter

Real Madrid have signed Eden Hazard on a five-year deal for a fee that would rise to €140m including add-ons.

The Eden Hazard transfer saga has finally ended with the winger putting pen to paper on a deal with Real Madrid. An initial €100m fee, plus €40m in add-ons, will make the Belgian the most expensive player in the club’s history.

Eden Hazard has been a long-term target for Real Madrid and hinted after last year’s World Cup that he planned to leave Chelsea. But the 28-year-old stayed at Stamford Bridge for another season, helping them to Europa League glory with a brace in the 4-1 final victory over Arsenal in Baku. After that game, he again suggested he had played his final game for Chelsea and that has proved to be correct. He has helped Chelsea win two Premier League and Europa League titles, as well as an EFL Cup and FA Cup during his seven years with the Blues.

Real Madrid C.F. 🇬🇧🇺🇸 on Twitter

👉 #WelcomeHazard https://t.co/ph6fXHpakp

Hazard wrote an emotional letter on Facebook: “To my Chelsea friends and family, you now know that I will be joining Real Madrid.
It’s no secret that it was my dream to play for them since I was a young boy just scoring my first goal. I have tried my very best not to distract myself or the team through this difficult period of speculation and media attention, especially the last six months.
Now the clubs have reached an agreement I hope you understand I had to pursue my next chapter, just as each and every one of you should when you have the chance to pursue your dreams. Leaving Chelsea is the biggest and toughest decision in my career to date.”

“Now it’s in the open I would like to put on record one thing was always clear to me, I have loved every moment at Chelsea and not once did I ever consider, nor would I have left for any other club. I was only 21 when I joined, so I have grown up as a man and a player with all of you, you have helped me become captain of the Belgium national team after all. There have of course been tough times, for the team as a whole and for me personally, this is professional football.
However, football to me is about having a ball at my feet, playing games and enjoying every moment, we are lucky to play the beautiful game and this is always my advice to those who ask for a coaching tip! Play football and have fun! Even when we were not playing well, I tried to do my best and this has been thanks to your amazing support. That fighting spirit, desire and the refusal to ever give up is part of the culture here at Chelsea and it comes directly from you.”

“When I think back over my special moments in a Chelsea shirt, there are so many, we are lucky to win many more games than we have lost. Those who know me understand it is not me to list what I have won, all I can say is each and every award both as a team and as an individual have been incredible. One day I will be able to sit down over a beer and talk about or laugh with pride about my missed penalty that set up my header to win the league against Palace, or those goals against Tottenham, Arsenal or Liverpool.
The memories are so vivid because of the atmosphere and occasion you create, I hope you always remember them with pride, as I do. Whether it’s on tour in the USA, or at Sunderland on a Tuesday night, in Russia on a Thursday, or of course EVERY game at The Bridge – you’ve always supported me and encouraged me to play football and be me – Like I have enjoyed myself I hope you have enjoyed yourselves, I am only sorry not leave with a defending award amongst my honours!”

“We have many great players and my proudest moments were always as part of the team. We’ve won the FA Cup, League Cups, Europa Leagues and Premier Leagues all as a family. Each one so special in its own way and of course the game in Baku a couple of weeks ago is the perfect way to sign off from a long tough season after the World Cup. Chelsea and especially Chelsea fans will always be special to me and next season I will look for your results first. I hope that we are drawn against each other in the Champions League next season and every season so we can meet again.
Before I go, one last thank you to everyone at the Club for their tremendous effort as we lived through every moment. To all of my ex-Colleagues, we will say our goodbyes at the right time but I must thank the owner Mr Abramovich and his board for helping me realise not one, but two dreams, my first in becoming a Chelsea player and today my second, becoming a player at Real Madrid.
I wish each and every one of you the very best my friends.
Eden”

Eden Hazard

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said on Eden Hazard’s transfer: “Although it is with sadness we say goodbye to Eden and we made it absolutely clear to him the club wished him to stay, we respect the decision he has made to take on a new challenge in a different country and follow his childhood dream of playing for Real Madrid. The memories he leaves us with will not fade. He provided all who watched Chelsea play with great entertainment and many match-winning contributions, and for that we thank Eden enormously.
He has been a model professional throughout his time at the club, a wonderful individual to have around and a joy to work with. We look forward to welcoming him back to Stamford Bridge in the future.”

Eden Hazard joins Real Madrid as a part of Zinedine Zidane’s squad overhaul that has already seen Rodrygo Goes, Eder Militao and Luka Jovic move to the Santiago Bernabeu. Hazard will double his wages to £400,000 in his five-year deal at Real Madrid.

Honor 20 Series : Everything you need to know about this Quad-camera smartphone.

Overview of Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite.

The Honor 20 series of smartphones has been launched globally, with the Huawei-owned subsidiary introducing the Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite into the fray. Honor 20 series is also coming soon in the Indian market. Flipkart is teasing the Honor 20 series for quite a long time, so the series is coming in India really soon.

HONOR 20 Series

A better smartphone awaits on June 11, 2019. Capture anytime, anywhere with the incredible camera of #HONOR20Series. #YouDeserveBetter

The lineup follows the trend of three-variant lineups, with the Pro variant presenting overkill specifications at a higher price, and the Lite variant presenting a slightly compromised experience but offering superior value for money. The highlight of the Honor 20 series is its quad-rear camera setup, spearheaded by the Sony IMX586 48-megapixel image sensor.

The new Honor 20 series fits into the premium segment of smartphones, sitting beneath the flagship ranges of the Huawei P and Mate lineups. Here’s looking at the three new smartphones in closer details, in terms of the specifications they offer.

Honor 20 Pro :

The Honor 20 Pro is the de facto highlight of the lineup and is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC, which is one of the four 7nm mobile SoCs in the market right now. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB native storage, along with a proprietary graphene sheet cooling technology to control the device from overheating during gaming sessions. On the front, it features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a claimed 91.7 percent screen to body ratio. The display gets dual-curved edges, which Honor refers to as 3D curved glass.

Instead of an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Honor 20 Pro has a side-mounted one. The highlight is the quad-camera setup at the rear, which is stacked vertically in two modules. The primary sensor is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 unit paired with f/1.4 aperture lens and four-axis optical image stabilisation. This is complemented by a 16-megapixel ultra wide angle camera with f/2.2 lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with f/2.4 lens and four-axis optical stabilisation, and a 2-megapixel sensor to add macro details to photos, paired with an f/2.4 lens. It also gets an individual laser autofocus unit, along with an LED flash. The telephoto setup is capable of producing 3x optical, 5x hybrid and 30x digital zoom. There is also a 32-megapixel in-display front camera onboard.

The Honor 20 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh battery pack, which is combined with a 22.5W charging adapter that Honor claims can juice up the smartphone by 50 percent from nil within 30 minutes. The Honor 20 Pro misses out on a 3.5mm audio port, and uses a USB-C port for charging and other purposes. The smartphone is based on Android 9.0 Pie, and is priced at €599 (~Rs 46,500). The smartphone can be purchased in Phantom Blue and Black colour variants.

Honor 20 :

The Honor 20 shares much of the bearings with the Pro variant. While it uses the same SoC, it gets lesser RAM with 6GB onboard, and only 128GB of native storage. While it does feature a quad-rear camera, the 8-megapixel telephoto unit has been swapped for a 2-megapixel depth assisting unit. It features the same display and front camera, but the battery capacity is slightly lesser, at 3,750mAh — albeit with the same charger. Instead of the Blue, the Honor 20 can be purchased in an ‘Icelandic White’ finish. The Honor 20 is priced at €499 (~Rs 39,000).

Honor 20 Lite :

The Honor 20 Lite is powered by the Kirin 710 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It features a marginally smaller display at 6.21 inches, but features the hole-in-display design and a 32-megapixel camera embedded in it. The rear imaging setup as a triple camera unit, featuring a 24-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth-assisting sensor. The Honor 20 Lite features a 3,400mAh battery, and it is not clear if it features the same fast charging standard as well. The Honor 20 Lite is available in Phantom Red and Blue colours, and is priced at €299 (~Rs 23,000).

While no word regarding its India launch was made today, the Honor 20 series is expected to come to India soon, and rival the recently launched OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro in the premium segment.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX Super GPU specs leaked

NVIDIA recently teased about their upcoming “Super” graphics cards and now we have some potential leaks about the upcoming GPUs. Basically, these GPUs will not be special ones with huge performance increase or architectural improvements.

According to leaks, these new Super RTX GPUs will get a bump in the core count and the RTX 2080 will too get faster 16GB/s GDDR6 memory.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super

The RTX 2060 Super will get a healthy boost in the number of cores, increasing to 2176 Cores from 1920 Cores originally. Also, the leaks suggest that this “Super” GPU will have 8GB of memory that means an upgraded 256-bit bus architecture.

This means that the new RTX 2060S might be up to 30% faster than its predecessor that was announced back at CES 2019.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super

The RTX 2070 Super might end up with the same 2560 shaders, but we expect this new GPU to come with higher clock speeds while the memory remains unchanged.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super

This beast GPU will get another upgrade as the so-called “Super” version might end up coming with 3072 Cores, enabling the entire TU104 die.

Also as already told, it will get faster 16GB/s GDDR6 memory. This as a whole will drastically increase GPU performance by 20-25%.

Well, the good news remains that these new GPUs will have the same pricing as their last gen models and the older ones may get a $50-100 price cut.

NVIDIA may launch these cards at E3 which is starting this June 11th and make them available in July to challenge AMD’s Navi GPUs.

LG W series : The mid-range series launching soon in India.

LG is preparing to launch a mid-range series in India.

LG’s mobile division has struggled lately and it appears to be trying a different approach. The company is planning to launch a new smartphone series called W, and its first market will be India. A landing page appeared on Amazon India, revealing some key specs of the phone, and later we received a tip in our inbox, shedding even more light on the upcoming devices. They will be with three cameras, a notch on the front and “Never before Prices”.

The new LG W phone will have a 12 nm process chipset with octa-core CPU, clocked at 2.0 GHz. These specs match the Helio P60, a midrange Mediatek chip already available on a long line of phones. Our source also suggests the Snapdragon 439 possibility too.

The phone is expected to come with a 4,000 mAh battery, Android Pie and an ultrawide angle camera. You can also customize your notch, but that is hardly a new feature since we’ve spotted it in the LG G7 ThinQ, released over a year ago.

Teasing/launching dates are still unknown, but you can sign up for a notification on the Amazon website. You can also follow us, once we have more info, we’ll let you know.

India head coach Igor Stimac plans to change India’s style of play

Igor Stimac is concerned about India’s style of play rather than the results.

India head coach Igor Stimac is banking on the optimism present in the squad to help the Blue Tigers put up an improved show against Thailand on Saturday in the third-place playoff of the King’s Cup in Thailand.

India were beaten 3-1 by Curacao in the King’s Cup opener. It was the Croatian’s first match in charge of the Indian team. Stimac said: “Our preparation was mostly on refreshing our players after a difficult match against Curacao. They were a team who had experienced players, players who play in European Leagues and therefore it was difficult to play against them. But we are only in our second week of being together.
But the positiveness which we are creating and the positive environment we are creating in this team gives us optimism.”

India, under Stephen Constantine had beaten Thailand 4-1 in the Asian Cup opener back in January. Stimac added: “We know the Thailand team. Although I was not the coach our players faced them in the AFC Asian Cup.”

India

Igor Stimac’s impact on India’s style of play was visible in the second half against Curacao. India were the better side in the second half arguably. His immediate aim is to avoid injuries ahead of the upcoming Intercontinental Cup in India while allowing his players to adjust to his style of play. He said: “We are in a position now where we are trying to change our style of play. It is very difficult. It is a completely different structure and approach. They are not used to that. I was very glad to see that our supporters in India liked the fact that our team was trying to play with lots of passing and dominating a team like Curacao who are 20 places ahead of us in FIFA ranking. That is our intention. I insist on such a style.
We have to keep ourselves free of injuries so that we can prepare well for the Intercontinental Cup in India. The World Cup qualifiers are also important. I see many coaches are already thinking about. Everybody wants to win.”

Stimac is not concerned about the results now as he looks to change India’s style of play. He said: “My role as head coach is to awaken the thoughts of Indian people about football and we can do that only if we play nice football and win their hearts. We know that some results will suffer in the beginning but the positiveness that we are creating around this team is giving us a lot of optimism and especially the young players are giving us another optimism for the better future of Indian football.”

Five Indian players were handed debut by Stimac in the match against Curacao. Igor Stimac is banking on the young talents of the country to take them forward. He added: “We are going to build on these youngsters along with the experience of players like Sunil, Sandesh, Pronay, and others. Our real strength is young players. In the game against Curacao, I must remind you that five players had their debut. We are going to work with confidence, discipline and not put down our heads after a few defeats.”

Igor Stimac

Stimac will also rotate the team against Thailand so as to ensure everyone in the squad gets an opportunity to show his talent. He said: “All my players have been working very hard for the past 12 days or more. And I want to see every one of them on the pitch so that they can prove themselves. So all the players who didn’t get their chance in the previous match will get to play tomorrow. I will give them the chance to prove that they have more quality than the ones who played in the first match and make my decisions more difficult in the future.”

India should give Igor Stimac ample amount of time to get the players ready in his style of play. It’s not easy to get such a high profile head coach when your FIFA ranking is around 100. So this is India’s best chance to take maximum advantage of the coach’s vast experience and move a few steps forward towards becoming a major footballing nation.

Real Madrid have agreed to pay around €140m for Eden Hazard

Real Madrid and Chelsea have finally agreed on Eden Hazard’s initial transfer fee of €100m, though the total fee would rise to around €140m with add-ons.

The two clubs, Real Madrid and Chelsea have now finally agreed on Hazard’s price following face-to-face talks between Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and Real Madrid CEO Jose Angel Sanchez in London.

Hazard will finally get the opportunity to play under manager Zinedine Zidane, whom he idolised as a player growing up. Zinedine Zidane has also long been an admirer of Hazard, and the Frenchman’s presence in the dugout further fuelled his eagerness to move. Hazard now joins fellow summer signings Luka Jovic and Eder Militao to move to Los Blancos following their underwhelming 2018-19 campaign.

Hazard and Zidane

Hazard is set for a significant pay-rise upon joining Real Madrid after turning down multiple contract extension offers from Chelsea. He has been clear for a number of years now about his desire to move to the Spanish capital, and while it was also true that he enjoyed playing at Chelsea, he will fulfil a lifelong dream by lining up in the white colours. Throughout the 2018/19 season, as it became increasingly clear that the end for him in London was near, he remained determined to focus on the job at hand of returning Chelsea to the Champions League with a top-four finish and lifting silverware, Europa League before leaving Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard

Chelsea rejected Madrid’s opening offer for the player in April, but have finally come to an agreement, with Hazard set to reunite with international team-mate Thibaut Courtois, who made the same move last summer. Courtois will likely be forced to act as a translator for his compatriot, who will enter a dressing room where few players speak either English or French.

The Blues have already signed Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in a bid to replace Hazard while fellow winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to bring an end to the debate regarding his future by signing a five-year deal with his boyhood club. An appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) could also see the ban delayed or even overturned, but for now, there will be no new faces coming through the door to Chelsea.

Eden Hazard

At 28 now, Hazard’s dream will become reality and he’ll be hoping to give some of his best years to Los Blancos. Hazard seems destined to be the leader of Real Madrid’s attack next season. Zidane wants to build his new team around the Belgian attacker. So this is arguably the most important move the club will make this summer.

Although, Hazard won’t be presented at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu until after Belgium’s European Championship qualification matches, with Belgium to take on Kazakhstan on Saturday and Scotland on Tuesday.
