Arsenal complete signing of Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille

Arsenal are building a team for a new era under Mikel Arteta, who is a former Arsenal player and knows the club inside out. In his first season, he has guided the team to a FA Cup victory.

Arteta is now planning to reduce the gap between them and the top 4 sides. Last season they finished on the eighth. So Arsenal has already started recruiting for the upcoming season. They signed former Chelsea player Willian on a free transfer.

One of the vulnerable areas of Arsenal was their defence so Arteta was keen to sign a new central defender. They were interested in signing Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.

According to reports, Arsenal has completed the signing of the Lille defender for €30m plus add ons. Manchester United was also interested but Arsenal has a good relationship with Lille. Last summer, they bought Nicolas Pepe for £72m from the Ligue 1 club.

Magalhaes will travel to London on Monday to sign a five-year contract. He will become Mikel Arteta’s most expensive signing since he took charge at the club.

The Brazilian will form a defensive pair with William Saliba, the French defender who was on loan at Saint-Etienne. Magalhaes was one of the best centre-backs in Ligue 1 last season. He was impressive throughout the campaign.

Upcoming budget smartphone from OnePlus to have Snapdragon 460 chipset

0

OnePlus might be working on a new budget smartphone and we are getting the leaks for a long time even before the launch of OnePlus Nord. The OnePlus Nord is the company’s first venture in the mid-range flagship segment and according to reports OnePlus is interested to go deeper in this segment and might also introduce more budget centric smartphones for the millennials like the Nord.

A leakster has shared some images, it looks like some kind of source code, and from those images we find the mention of SM4250 which is the model code of Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 and below that we can see the brand name of OnePlus. It is now getting clear that OnePlus is indeed working on a more budget centric smartphone.

All thanks to one of the most popular tipster Max J., for showing the look-alike design of the upcoming OnePlus mid-range phones that will be another addition to the OnePlus mid-range series after Nord. He emphasized the word “phones” in one of his old tweets, which clearly indicates that the tipster is absolutely sure about the launch of more than one smartphone.

The phones are codenamed Billie 1 & Billie 2 or commonly known as Aurora. Though we are pretty unsure what will be the exact name of these two devices.

The Billie smartphone has been spotted in several leaks claiming to be OnePlus’ most affordable smartphone till now. The above-leaked source codes do not mention much about the upcoming smartphone just the processor has been spotted and from this, it is anticipated that OnePlus might be working on a budget smartphone that can be than the OnePlus Nord.

AMD’s 2021-2022 Ryzen roadmap leaked: Warhol, Van Gogh & Cezanne are real

0

For last couple of weeks, we have been receiving a mixed amount of leaks regarding AMD’s upcoming CPUs and APUs that can get anyone confused. Obviously, we have got the leak of Cezanne APUs and yesterday, we got the leak of Van Gogh APUs as well, now that will surely make you confused about what AMD is up to, however, the leaked roadmap now makes some sense.

Next-gen Ryzen CPUs

As brought to our attention by Videocardz, the total CPU/APU roadmap for 2021-22 is revealed by their source @MebiuW. In fact, we see the mention of another CPU lineup that will be the successor to AMD’s upcoming Vermeer CPUs based on Zen 3 architecture. Warhol seems to be familiar to Videocardz who had spotted a leak about it even before this roadmap came into existence.

AMD's 2021-2022 Ryzen roadmap leaked: Warhol, Van Gogh & Cezanne are real
via Videocardz

AMD’s upcoming Warhol CPU lineup is supposed to be the Ryzen 5000 lineup based on the same Zen 3 architecture, maybe with some tweaks but will still be based on 7nm+. As per the roadmap, most probably, these CPUs will be launched in the middle of 2021 as a Vermeer refresh or as a new lineup with AM5 socket.

On the other hand, AMD Raphael (Ryzen 6000) will be succeeding Warhol and is currently associated with AMD Zen4 architecture but in the roadmap, it seems to have a mention Navi, which again raises the speculation whether these CPUs will come with built-in iGPU or there will some kind of interconnect between the Navi-based GPU and the Zen 4 based CPUs.

Next-gen Ryzen APUs

Cezanne APUs (Ryzen 5000 APUs) will be succeeding Renoir on both laptops and desktops featuring Zen 3 CPU cores and Vega graphics, this is more natural, however, it would be great if it would feature RDNA 2 graphics. Worry not, the newly speculated, Van Gogh APUs seem to be powerful on the GPU front with RDNA 2 graphics, and with multiple leaks, Van Gogh is certainly real.

AMD's 2021-2022 Ryzen roadmap leaked: Warhol, Van Gogh & Cezanne are real

Van Gogh has been labeled with ‘CVML’ that probably means ‘Computer Vision and Machine Learning’, making it totally unique from AMD’s traditional CPUs and APUs. These Navi2-based APUs will feature Zen 2 CPU cores, however, it seems both Cezanne and Van Gogh APUs will be launched parallelly but meant for different purposes.

This is exciting because Van Gogh will be the first APU series featuring Navi graphics and as we see in the roadmap, the lineup will be continuing and will still have Navi GPUs. The naming scheme has also changed as AMD will now be borrowing architecture names from famous painters, Van Gogh’s successor too will have the name starting with D.

New Microsoft Surface 3 Laptops might feature AMD's Ryzen 5 3550U & Ryzen 7 3750U processors

To me, Van Gogh isn’t surprising because AMD is implementing the same combo of Zen 2 + Navi 2 APU on upcoming gaming consoles including both PS5 and Xbox. Obviously these console APUs too use Computer Vision and Machine Learning for the advanced gaming experience, now in 2021, we might see AMD bringing this tech commercially under Van Gogh lineup and even making it better over time as laptop gaming will never fade, but the demand will be increasing over time.

To all of these, my fingers remain crossed, because if my predictions go right, all of these Warhol, Van Gogh & Cezanne processors will rock the 2021 and among all of these, Van Gogh APU lineup is the most exciting one for gamers to keep an eye upon in the coming year. As for now, these are rumors but cannot be ruled out totally because they seem to make some sense.

LG launches new 32UN650-W 4K FreeSync monitor with 95% DCI-P3 color gamut

0

The South Korean giant has good news for all you 4K monitor lovers because they have launched 4K monitor with FreeSync support and is very color accurate as well. The LG 32UN650-W 4K monitor is the one targetted towards professionals and gamers who do professional work as well because not all 4K monitors are meant for gaming.

LG launches new 32UN650-W 4K FreeSync monitor with 95% DCI-P3 color gamut

This new 4K monitor supports HDR10 and features a 31.5-inch IPS display panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. This is one of the most color-accurate displays ever, covering 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and support 1.07 billion colors. Having AMD FreeSync support is great as you can game without tearing on a color-accurate monitor sacrificing the refresh rates.

The 32UN650-W features a response time of 5 ms (GTG), a peak brightness of 350 nits along with a 1000:1 static contrast ratio. For professionals, LG has also given blue light filters as well to protect your eyes from long working hours but delivering good 4K experience will require a good flagship GPU, not to worry, AMD and NVIDIA will launch next month a heck lot of GPUs.

Also, having HDR10 support on a 10-bit panel gives you the flexibility to use the monitor for media consumption and even to play 4K games at HDR. The monitor uses DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity that gives enough bandwidth to even try overclocking the display panel to get more out of it although you still get HDMI ports as well.

The 4K monitor also comes with a swivel stand and a C-shape base while the height of the stand seems extendable as well. LG hasn’t announced the pricing of the 32UN650-W monitor, however, its product page is out and most probably it will be priced more like any professional monitor out there with high color accuracy, and on top of that this is a 4K IPS panel as well. Although LG did hint that the monitor will go on sale in the last week of this month.

Want a 6GHz network? Google is planning to test it out

When the entire world has gone crazy to implement 5G, the SoC maker giant MediaTek and the Korean giant Samsung reported their work on 6G. At this moment, Google is planning to test a better new Wi-Fi technology with a 6Ghz network. Recent FCC filings are saying Google wants to go with this plan in multiple states across the US and the testing process will continue for 24 months long.

The test set up of the 6Ghz network is going to implement in various states of the US including Colorado, Florida, Arizona, New York, Illinois, Kansas, and California.

Want a 6GHz network - Google is planning to test it out__TechnoSports.co.in.co.in

The first move is to “conduct radio experiments in and near the 6GHz bands (5650 MHz – 7125 MHz)” installed in some limited cities. Google is thinking to test this network in two or three cities of the states, though around seven cities are included of its own state California.

Google wrote – “Google proposes to conduct experimental propagation testing in the 6GHz band to produce technical information relevant to the utility of these frequencies for providing reliable broadband connections,”

From the trust on Google, we can expect a positive outcome after 24 months of testing. No doubt, the Wi-Fi speed of 6Ghz band will double the speed as well as make connections more reliable.

ZTE Axon 20 5G to have Four different colour options

0

ZTE Axon 20 5G has already been teased by the company and the launch date is fixed on September 1. The most interesting part of this phone is that it will come with an under-display camera. In our previous article, we have discussed the working technology of such an under-display camera. The company is also teasing more in some short promotional videos time to time.

This time the company has revealed three new colour variants of the phone way ahead of the launch. The phone will come with a 6.92-inch OLED full-screen (2460×1080) and an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHzSnapdragon 765G chipset that supports 5G connectivity.

EgCT R1U4AAphYM ZTE Axon 20 5G to have Four different colour options

Axon 20 5G will have a 32MP under-display camera at the front. At the back we will see a 64MP primary sensor, paired with one 8MP and two 2MP units. The phone will have upto 12GB RAM and upto 256GB storage. It will run on Android 10.

Axon 20 5G will be powered by a 4,120 mAh battery with fast charging support. The AXON A20 5G has four color options – black, purple, gold, and blue.

The main hurdle in such an under-display camera smartphone is the poor light transmittance through a screen. But it seems that ZTE has managed to circumvent this hurdle by using a panel developed by Visionox, one of the biggest OLED manufacturers in China. As per the intel of GSMArena, the company has already completed the R&D of the UD camera and the company says it works by optimizing the pixel arrangement around the camera’s lens.

ZTE is not the first company to produce the under-display camera smartphone but this technology we have already seen a year ago from Oppo, but ZTE will be the first smartphone brand that will mass produce an under-display camera smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G’s cases leaked on Samsung Bulgaria website

After the UNPACKED event of Galaxy Note 20 series on August 5, Samsung also teased recently Galaxy Z Fold2 5G on that day and mentioned its availability in September. Though there is no strict official information about the release date and specifications of this phone. A few promo videos, a couple of hands-on clip attracted the viewers.

f1 1 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G's cases leaked on Samsung Bulgaria website

After Samsung’s first folding phone which was Samsung Z Flip, it is expected to have some more improvised features in this new one. As it is a flip phone, one can use it as a normal smartphone or a tablet. Samsung will give you the guarantee of the durability of that particular device.

There is no official information about its other specs, but we can expect the 7.59-inch Ultra-Thin Glass display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This can also feature Adaptive Flex mode for hands-free photo and video capture and is a boon for multitasking. There is no confirmation of the price by Samsung. According to reports, you can pre-order this device from September 1 and we can expect that Samsung will surely confirm some detailed specs about this new smart-phone.

fc1 Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G's cases leaked on Samsung Bulgaria website

Other than this, Fold2 official case images have been leaked on Samsung Bulgaria. The lining of the case is made from a soft micro-fiber texture and it will come in three different color variants: black, brown (Mystic Bronze color), and green. But unfortunately, quality is not that up to the mark if we compare this with the phone. It is a normal leather cover which only offers protection to the backside of the phone. But, there is no protection for the front side of the phone. It is unacceptable from Samsung that after making the front screen with so much delicacy spending a huge amount of time and money there will be no good protection for that screen.

There is another type of case Samsung has made which is called the Aramid Standing Cover, and it has an integrated kickstand for watching content on the front display. But, there are no color variants for this type of covers. It will be only available in black.

Samsung is making two-piece official cases for Galaxy Fold and Z flip. So, we can assume that this time Samsung will come with a better front and rear protection case. But, there is no official information about it till now.
