Everything you need to know about Samsung’s new One UI 2.5

Maintaining the iteration the Korean electronics giant Samsung, this year, introduced its latest Android skin One UI 2.5 with the launch of Galaxy Note 20 lineup and Galaxy Tab S7. As the Note 20 lineup started coming out in the market, Samsung began releasing the One UI 2.5 update to other devices as well. Coming to the list, but before that have a look at what improvements users will get in this update.

One UI 2.5 is going to make pro photography easier than ever. The Pro Video mode is added so that you can record high-fidelity videos with just your Galaxy device. The 8K video recording facility at 24fps is enabled along with a 21:9 aspect ratio option to give your creativity a cinematic touch.

These is not all, the update will also allow you to control your phone’s mic direction to catch specific sound during a shoot. Sony’s ZV-1 vlogging camera provides a similar feature too.

Samsung Notes 📱

The new skin is making the Note series more powerful for you. Thanks to the Audio Bookmark option and others. From now, you can easily sync your notes with audio recordings of meetings or lectures. Later, you just have to scroll the audio to go through the notes you made.

Samsung DeX 📺

Samsung gave more attention to multitasking. As a bigger screen is better for it you can get it by simply tapping on the new Samsung DeX option. It will instantly connect your Galaxy device with your smart TV wirelessly. Then you can easily use the extra space either for work or play. Multi-finger gesture functionality is also available. For that, you can swipe up three fingers to see recent apps, down to come back home screen, and left/right to switch between apps.

Paris Saint-Germain had two superstars Neymar and Mbappe along with few other good players. On the other hand, Bayern had a full team of stars right from under the bars to their opponent’s penalty area with the only exception being the centre-back area as Boateng got injured but Sule did a great job.

In the finals, teams have to be clinical as chances don’t come often. Neymar forced Neuer to make two quick saves but Mbappe should have done better. He should have at least forced Neuer to produce a save instead of hitting the ball straight at him. Lewandowski’s deflected shot also hit the post but later Kimmich sent a beautiful deep cross into the far post for Coman to head home.

This was enough for Bayern to lift their 6th Champions League trophy. They now join Barcelona to have won two continental trebles.

HP War X with AMD Ryzen 4000 PRO APUs launched in China

HP has brought a new laptop in China with the name of HP War X and why such a name? It is because the laptop is inspired by Star Wars Animation and has a unique design to it and these laptops are powered by the latest Ryzen 4000 PRO processors.

The company is offering the laptop in three different screen sizes: 13-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch. HP first introduced the Wars edition back in 2015 to target a lot of Star Wars fans out there and it looks more like the HP Omen 15 but with some minor tweaks and a white paint job. On the other hand, the upper portion and the HP logo looks alike to that of the Spectre lineup.

The laptop comes with a metal unibody design and with the three sizes of display, you can configure up to a 400 nit brightness and 100% SRG color gamut panel. It is an ultra-thin laptop with just 1.26 mm thickness and weighs just 1.69 Kg.

One of the biggest highlights is that the new HP War X laptops are powered by AMD Ryzen 4000 PRO APUs and you get both 8-core Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U and 6-core Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U options. Let’s know more about there two APUs:

AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G is a Renoir desktop APU with 8 cores and 16 threads, features 4 MB of L2 and 8 MB of L3 cache for a total of 12 MB cache. The APU features a base clock speed of 3.60 GHz and a boost clock speed of 4.45 GHz. It operates with a 65W TDP and for integrated graphics, there’s the 7nm Vega GPU which comes with 8 CUs to form 512 cores and clocked at 2100 MHz.

The AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G features 6 cores and 12 threads and has clock speeds configured at 3.7 GHz base and 4.2 GHz boost. It also comes with 6 MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 65W. On the GPU front, it comes with Vega 7 integrated graphics that support 448 cores running at a clock speed of up to 1900 MHz.

So, you can expect a really good performance from these laptops, also comes paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. HP has priced the HP War X laptops quite cheap in China with a starting price of 4,999 yuan ($722 or ₹ 54,042) for the 13-inch variant, 5,099 yuan ($736 or ₹ 55,124) for the 14-inch variant, and 5,299 yuan ($765 or ₹ 57,286) for the 15.6-inch variant. All of these laptops are up for pre-orders on Jingdong and will formally go on sale from 31st August.

A person named Allen Pan invented a gun or a launcher that literally throws a mast to the targeted person’s face. He called it “Mask Gun”. He is an Electrical Engineer from the University of Southern California and a popular DIY artist on YouTube.

This “Mask Gun” is a perfect blend of Pan’s talent with some daily-use items. The things used in the gun are a break line, an 800 PSI CO2 canister, a solenoid valve, a paint pistol grip, some magnetic projectiles fitted in the surgical mask, and lastly a laser projector for aiming.

After the building work, Pan tested his invention on some mannequins and then on himself. Being successful in the first two rounds, he goes outside for further.

In my opinion, this gun is very useful, and also can be effective for those people with zero awareness. Hope you are not one of those. Wear masks in public places, maintain social distancing, wash hands timely, and stay safe.

Regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, every cricket fan in this country was living in uncertainty about this year’s IPL. After a lot of discussion about the Starting date, 19th September 2020 has been finalized by BCCI for IPL 2020.

While asking about this matter, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly told that if there is no IPL this year, then it will be a huge financial loss for the board which is almost 4,000 Crores INR. That is why, BCCI is trying its best to conduct 2020 IPL with every precaution for COVID-19, like empty stadiums, no hand-shakes between players, and so on.

As India is not in good condition right now to host such a huge T-20 league, after a lot of confusion and discussions between officials, now it is officially confirmed that this year’s IPL will be hosted by the UAE (United Arab Emirates). After confirming the date and venue, this was the time for a good sponsorship.

Regarding the border tensions between India and China, the Indian Government has already banned a huge number of Chinese apps and companies in India. So, BCCI wanted a new sponsor for this year’s IPL, as VIVO is a Chinese brand and it will not be a good thing if BCCI allows VIVO’s sponsorship in IPL.

“As of now, it will be very difficult for the BCCI to match the sponsorship amount at such short notice. Therefore both BCCI and the franchises should be prepared to lose out on some money — BCCI more but each franchise from Vivo’s exit will potentially lose 15 crores,” the official said.

“This year will be difficult for everyone but the show must go on,” the official said.

To get rid of this confusion, BCCI announced bidding and in that Dream11 picked the highest bid of 222 crores, became the official sponsor of IPL 2020. India’s leading fantasy sports platform will now sponsor this year IPL and it will be called Dream11 IPL 2020.

Not only 222 crores, but Dream11 also has some other investments in this league. As per sources, Dream11 will also invest in the on-air sponsorships of 2020 IPL.

Dream11 has already got a confirmation with the official broadcasters Star Sports. Other than this, Dream11 also have confirmed sponsorship deals with 6 IPL franchises of this season. This is not the end. This company will also invest in Digital Live Streaming of IPL 2020 with Disney+ Hotstar. If we put these investments altogether, Dream11’s advertising investments on IPL 2020 is all set to cross the astronomical figure of 500 crores.

Dream11 was started in 2008 by Harsh Jain and Bhavit Sheth. In just over 10 years, it has turned not only into one of the biggest mobile gaming platforms in the country, but it has also emerged as one of the biggest cricket advertisers in the world.

Motorola will launch Moto G9 on August 24 in India

Motorola is teasing the launch of a new smartphone in India via Flipkart but had not revealed the name of the smartphone officially. The company has only revealed some sneak peeks of the phone in its previous promo video and the launch date is set on August 24. The phone is a new one and the company is going tight on all the information leaks for this smartphone, so we are unable to get any updates on the phone so far. But recently a mere URL revealed the unknown name of the upcoming smartphone.

The teaser page also mentions that the phone will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor under the hood. The exact processor name has not been mentioned by the company but it is expected to be Snapdragon 720G.

Now coming to the design of the smartphone as we have no information about the specification of the smartphone. The in the video we can see a rear fingerprint scanner with the Motorola logo on it. The phone will have a Type-C charging port and speaker grills at the bottom. At the top, we can see a secondary microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The phone will come with a triple rear camera setup at the back. There will be a power button, volume rockers, and another button on the left side of the phone. It is still unknown what is the purpose of the third button. The phone will have a drop notch camera at the front.
