Having launched a 360Hz refresh rate monitor earlier in CES, Asus is bringing another such monitor but with a 24.5-inch display. The Taiwan giant is again collaborating with NVIDIA to bring both G-Sync and 360Hz refresh rate to action.

Unlike, the ASUS ROG Swift 360 32-inch 4K model, this is an FHD monitor with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio and has 1 ms grey-to-grey response time. The PG259QN uses ASUS Fast IPS technology to achieve 1 ms response time (GTG) for sharp gaming visuals with high frame rates.

With 360 Hz refresh rate on a 24.5-inch display, Asus is targeting professional esports gamers who need extra frame rates although achieving such high numbers is hard in all titles, but only eSports games can still go up to 360fps.

The monitor also has a high 1,000:1 contrast ratio with about 400 cd/m² (nits) of peak brightness. On top of that, the PG259QN also gives HDR10 support to view HDR content or games.

Real Madrid are looking to sell these 8 players in 2020

Real Madrid are having a quiet transfer window until now. They are one of the richest clubs in European football. In the last decade, their club president Florentino Perez had put together a Galacticos plan in place where he used to buy one of the biggest football stars in each transfer window.

But in this summer transfer window of 2020, Real Madrid hasn’t signed any players yet. It’s quite a strange thing to hear. The reason behind it is that Zidane already has a big squad so he will have to sell some players first before signing anyone.

Zidane has steadied the ship after Ronaldo left for Juventus in 2018. Last season they won the LaLiga and would hope to continue their dominance. But in order to do so, they need to sign some new players to fill the gap.

For example, Benzema is in good form but there is no backup striker. After the season restarted in June due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Benzema played all of the 11 matches at a stretch. So you can clearly see that Madrid lacks a good backup striker.

ceballos reguilon Real Madrid are looking to sell these 8 players in 2020

So Real Madrid are willing to sell these 8 players in this 2020 transfer window in order to make new signings.

  • Gareth Bale
  • Dani Ceballos
  • James Rodriguez
  • Oscar Rodriguez
  • Brahim Diaz
  • Sergio Reguilon
  • Borja Mayoral
  • Mariano Diaz

Out of these 8 players, 5 of them are pretty close on leaving Madrid. James Rodriguez is in talks with Ancelotti’s Everton and it seems certain that he will move to the Premier League side. Oscar Rodriguez has also linked with Sevilla while Brahim Diaz is all set to join AC Milan. Benfica has shown interest in Mariano and Borja Mayoral has been linked with Valencia.

Sergio Reguilon and Dani Ceballos do not seem to be part of Zidane’s plans either for the upcoming season. The left-back has won the Europa League with Sevilla and they would be more than happy to keep him. He seems to has no shortage of suitor

Spanish midfielder Ceballos, who was on loan at Arsenal is tangled between his former club Real Betis and Arsenal. His goal is to have as many minutes as possible to be eligible to go to next year’s European Championship.

The only player on this list with almost no one interested is Gareth Bale. He is the highest-earning player in Real Madrid and they desperately want to sell him.

Real Madrid are looking to sell all these 8 players before the transfer deadline on 5th October.

Apple is preparing to launch its own search engine

0

It seems that Apple is working to form its own search engine, obviously for its own devices. An online report highlighted several moves of Apple that supports this assumption. Still, Google pays a very good amount to the Cupertino giant to remain it’s devices’ default search engine.

A report by Coywolf pointed out several indicators of Apple. Firstly, the tech giant spotter earlier opening job opportunities for search engines. That listing specifies the integration of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing in the service.

Apple is preparing to launch its own search engine__TechnoSports.co.in

Next, in the iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 Beta, the Spotlight Search bypasses Google Search to serve search results.

By analyzing these two, Coywolf is guessing that Apple’s new search engine could be a personalized data hub without ads and “completely private”. The system may also use AI and ML for generating search results. The results will vary based on users’ contacts, documents, email, events, files, messages, maps, music, notes, news, photos, reminders, TV shows, and movies.

We have to wait for now, as there are no official announcements. If the expectations come true, no doubt it will try to end the monopoly of Google Search.

Apple restricts Facebook update that called out Apple Store’s 30% cut

0

After the Fortnite issue, more people come to know about Apple and Google’s 30% cut policy. Any application listed on the Apple and Google app store has to release this percentage on any in-app purchase.

A recent Facebook update allows users to purchase tickets of online events directly from the organizer. Apple said all the payments should be done through the app store’s payment system, giving the platform a 30% cut. Facebook asked Apple not to take this fee so that the entire revenue could go to the event authority. Unfortunately, Apple denied doing so.

Though the feature on Facebook is available now on iOS, the line “Apple takes 30% of this purchase” is removed. For Android, it was expected to display “Facebook doesn’t take a fee from this purchase.” As per Reuters, this message is not visible either.

Facebook told to Reuters in a statement, “Now more than ever, we should have the option to help people understand where money they intend for small businesses actually goes,” It added, “Unfortunately Apple rejected our transparency notice around their 30-percent tax but we are still working to make that information available inside the app experience.”

It’s very much clear that Apple blocked the notice. It’s too strict to the apps mentioning about the App store policies. Netflix, Kindle, and Spotify are some of the examples that face this.

IPL 2020: Two CSK players Deepak Chahar and Ruturaj Gaekwad test positive for COVID-19

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, BCCI has moved the IPL outside India to the UAE. The 13th edition of IPL is scheduled to start from 19th September. All the 8 IPL teams have already arrived in UAE.

13 members of Chennai Super Kings have tested positive for COVID-19. Among the 13 people, 1 Indian fast bowler and 12 members from support staff and social media team were reported positive. InsideSport claims they tried reaching out to CSK CEO Vishwanathan but he was unavailable to answer.

A report has come out on InsideSport on Saturday, claiming that the 1 Indian fast bowler who tested positive is Deepak Chahar.

The CSK member who revealed the information exclusively to InsideSport has strictly requested to remain unnamed.

The unnamed CSK team member said: “We don’t have much knowledge on who exactly has tested positive. I am hearing 2-3 squad members, few support staff members and our CEO’s family member has tested positive.”

InsideSport again asked him, is Deepak Chahar one of the player? The CSK member confirmed: “I think Chahar is one of the players.”.

Along with Chahar, Ruturaj Gaekwad has become the second Chennai Super Kings player to test positive for Coronavirus.

Both the players can return to training only after a 14-day quarantine period, following which they will have to test negative twice, 24 hours apart, before being permitted to re-enter the bio-secure zone.

The CSK member said that they are in a ‘complete state of shock‘ with the development.

He said: “We are in a complete state of shock and very scared. We took every possible precaution and followed the BCCI guidelines to the hilt, still, the virus has stuck the team”.

InsideSport asked him, how many members of the squad have tested positive? He replied: “Honestly, we are not very clear about it. No one from the team management has officially informed us anything. But what we are hearing is 13-14 members of our entire squad have tested positive and some results are still awaited”.

CSK has faced a major setback in the very beiginning of IPL 2020. They have also confirmed on Saturday that their vice-captain Suresh Raina has returned to India citing personal reasons and he will miss the entire IPL 2020.

Suresh Raina to miss IPL 2020 after returning back to India

After around 13 members of the Chennai Super Kings team was found positive for COVID-19, there’s another bad news for the CSK fans.

Suresh Raina, who is referred to as the ‘Chinna Thala’ by the CSK fans has returned to India citing personal reasons. The CSK team arrived in Dubai, UAE on 21st August and have been in quarantine since then.

Surprisingly, CSK had earlier announced that they have extended their quarantine period till 1st September, though they have completed their six-day mandatory quarantine period.

The CSK squad was expected to start training at the ICC Academy but the sudden postponement of the quarantine period has raised doubts in the minds of all the people. Now, it has been reported that around 13 members of CSK have tested positive, so this is the probable reason for extending their quarantine period.

KS Viswanathan, CEO, Chennai Super Kings offered support to Suresh Raina and his family. He said: “Suresh Raina has returned to India for personal reasons and will be unavailable for the remainder of the IPL season. Chennai Super Kings offers complete support to Suresh and his family during this time.”

This is a major setback for CSK in IPL 2020. Suresh Raina has been one of their mainstays. ‘Chinna Thala’ will surely be missed by ‘Thala’ (MS Dhoni).

Qualcomm and Ericsson announce the world’s first 5G Carrier Aggregation

0

As the 5G era has already begun, from 2020 onwards it is getting more attention than ever. 5G is implemented in a few key countries across the globe, however, it’s still not as standardized as the 4G LTE and will take some years to grow the 5G spectrum totally.

The 5G carrier aggregation is a critical feature in 5G specifications to lift performance, capacity, and coverage in the rapidly expanding 5G networks. Although implementing mmwave 5G is easier and gives better speed, however, their range is very poor.

Mostly the sub-6GHz will be the standardized form of 5G in the coming days and implementing widely is still a challenge for many telecom giants. However, the 5G carrier aggregation allows operators to use multiple sub-6GHz spectrum channels simultaneously to transfer data between base stations and a 5G mobile device.

qualcomm 5g system 100832372 large 637177676459438571 Qualcomm and Ericsson announce the world's first 5G Carrier Aggregation

This ultimately helps to create a much more stable 5G network that can be much more accessible. This delivers improved 5G speeds and reliability in challenging wireless conditions.

A successful 5G carrier aggregation can lead to allow consumers to experience smoother video streaming and enjoy faster downloads. In their blog, Qualcomm has said that along with Ericsson, both have completed a 5G SA carrier aggregation test at Ericsson’s labs in Beijing, China.

Also, they cited the speed of the 5G connection to be 2.5 Gbps by aggregating 100 MHz + 60 MHz within the 2.5 GHz (n41) TDD band in a 70% downlink configuration and using 4×4 MIMO.

qcom 5g Qualcomm and Ericsson announce the world's first 5G Carrier Aggregation

They’ve also tested in Sweden, where the companies established a successful 5G SA carrier aggregation data call by combining 20 MHz in the 600 MHz (n71) FDD band with 100 MHz of spectrum in the 2.5 GHz (n41) TDD band.

As Qualcomm states, the tests were carried out using 5G infrastructure equipment from the Ericsson Radio System portfolio and a 5G smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G Modem-RF System

This 5G carrier aggregation milestone is important because this is the world’s first featuring both FDD/TDD and TDD/TDD aggregation. So, as Qualcomm states, “this technology significantly enhances the performance of 5G networks worldwide, unlocking even higher average speeds and better 5G coverage for consumers.”

If you wonder when this 5G Carrier Aggregation will be coming to market, worry not, as Ericsson will offer a commercial release of 5G NR carrier aggregation in Q4 this year. On the other hand, Qualcomm is already shipping samples of Snapdragon X60 modem, and we will see them in action with upcoming flagship smartphones using the new Modem-RF System in early 2021.
