However, in a genre that has long been dominated by football franchises, such as FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer, the bat-and-ball game has yet to establish itself as a leading player within the sports-oriented gaming sector. Because of that, digital variants of the 16th-century game have thus far been unable to force their way into the thriving eSports industry. So, let’s consider whether India’s undeniable admiration for cricket could help the sport break into competitive gaming.  

India’s Recent Acceptance of Diverse Gaming Could Be an Indication

The next-gen 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 5800X spotted, beats Core i9-10900K in gaming benchmark?

Yes, Ryzen 5000 is true and its the upcoming Zen 3 based CPUs launching on October 8th. Finally, a CPU has been spotted on the Ashes of Singularity benchmark paired with an RTX 2080 and 32GB RAM, thanks to @TUM_APISAK.

The new Ryzen 7 5800X is an 8 core, 16 threaded CPU, much like its predecessor Ryzen 7 3800X, however, the clock speeds haven’t been disclosed till now.

What the benchmark shows is that the CPU paired with the NVIDIA GPU attains a healthy 60 fps at 4K, and thanks to @TUM_APISAK, who was kind enough to compare the same against the Intel’s best Core i9-10900K.

Ryzen 7 5800X VS Core i9-10900K: Ryzen wins?

As we compare, the 10-core Intel Core i9-10900K with the upcoming 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X, we see the scores are quite similar, even though we know the Ryzen 7 will cost much lower than the Intel one.

Here, the CPU framerate is what matters, and we see the Intel flagship features just 114.8 fps while the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X scoring 133.6 fps on average CPU benchmark at 4K highest settings.

The test bench is fair enough for both systems; only the AMD one has more RAM compared to Intel; however still, AMD wins by a comfortable margin although it’s at 4K, and we have already seen AMD edging Intel. So, the best comparison would be at 1080p; however, still, this benchmark gives some idea at least about AMD’s next-gen CPU’s gaming performance.

One thing is clear, that AMD’s Zen 3 will actually be game-changing because Intel had nothing but prioritizing gaming performance, but this time AMD will not be behind and can actually beat. Also, the naming scheme of these AMD CPUs gets confirmed as well, 8th October can really be a great one for most enthusiasts who have switched or are planning to switch to team Red.

ISL 2020: Young striker Ishan Pandita joins FC Goa

FC Goa have sealed a deal for 22-year-old Indian striker Ishan Pandita, according to latest media reports. The young forward has regularly featured in the lower tiers of Spanish football for nearly four seasons and has caught the eye of Goa’s scouting team. Having played for the youth sides of UD Almeria and Leganes, Pandita last accumulated experience with 4th division team Lorca FC.

Goa apparently made a few enquiries in Spain before deciding whether or not to sign the striker. Newly recruited head coach Juan Ferrando had also spoken to Pandita in a bid to convince him to join ‘The Gaurs’.

The deal is said to be an initial 1-year contract, with the club having an option to extend for another year based on Pandita’s performance. With interest from as many as three ISL clubs, the striker chose Goa owing to the Spanish influence in the club’s structure. From coaching staff to the manager and the fact that there are 5 Spanish players, including marquee forward Igor Angulo, he reportedly felt that Goa would be the better sporting project.

A source close to this development has been quoted as saying, “Having been in Spain for four years now, Ishan understands the Spanish philosophy and mindset. He knows the language and it will be much smoother for him to make the transition.”

Pandita will add some steel in Goa’s attacking force upfront. With Corominas no longer with the club, the onus will lie on the likes of Ortiz, Angulo and Pandita to shoulder the goal-scoring burden.

With the news that ISL 2020 will look to be held in stadiums across Goa, it surely comes as a boost to the club in their pursuit of the elusive title. The club came close to winning the trophy in 2018 final against Bengaluru FC but ultimately fell at the last stage to a Rahul Bheke header goal. The new season of the ISL is said to start somewhere in November 2020.

It’s been confirmed by Videocardz, and it’s sources that the RTX 3060 Ti will be launching soon after the RTX 3070. Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti will be the first budget entry from NVIDIA and will feature a new GA106 GPU.  The Ti variant of the card will come first, and the non-Ti version of the 3060 has yet not have been announced, according to WhyCry. It’s expected, that the card will feature more cores than RTX 2080 Ti.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti will have 4864 CUDA cores with 8GB GDDR6 memory. The memory clock speed of the card will be of 14 Gbps. It will have a bus width will of 256-bits for a total bandwidth of 448 GB/s of bandwidth. Due to the architecture of the board, it will require less power. So, the Total Power Board(TBP) of the card will be around 200W, and the relative design clocks in at around 180W.

Dell XPS 13 9310 2-in-1 has been dubbed as the best 13-inch laptop available in the market. The company just announced that the top dog is getting major power updates.

Reportedly the upgraded XPS 13 9310 will sport the 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake Processors. The Tiger Lake CPU will provide a significant boost to the device’s performance. Despite the processor being limited to only four cores, it is still far superior in performing tasks such as photo and video editing.

The display continues to be the same 13.4-inch InfinityEdge with a 16:10 touch display. The display variants still carry an FHD+ and UltraSharp 4K UHD+ resolutions.

Both display variants are Dolby Vision-certified and have a 0.65% anti-reflective coating and a wide viewing angle of 178-degree. The display is protected with an Edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

What’ new in the Upgrade?

Buyers will get to choose from the Intel Core i3-1115G4, Core i5-1135G7, and Core i7-1165G7 options. RAM upgrades are also available from 8 GB to 32 GB LPDDR4X-4267, with the only exception being for the Core i3 version.

The storage now comes with options of 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSDs.

East Bengal is going to start its ISL journey from this season. Since their joining in ISL, there are multiple rumours for their head coach, signings and all things.

But yesterday, according to some reports, all come down to a straightforward question. ‘Will East Bengal play as their name, or they need to add SC (Shree Cement) before their name?’ The final decision will be taken soon after the board meeting today.

East Bengal has tied up with ‘Shree Cement’ as their sponsor this season. Shree Cement has a 76% share of the club. East Bengal board will be of 10 members. Out of those, eight will be from Shree Cement, and the other two will be from East Bengal Club. After all these, they have submitted the bid papers and other documents to FSDL to play in ISL. Then it was also told that East Bengal would play only with their name.

But now some reports suggest some other things. Though the owner and managing director of Shree Cement, Hari Mohan Bangur, said, “East Bengal will play with their name only. We are not here for business. We are here to be part of the legacy. East Bengal has its legacy, and we respect that.”

Earlier, East Bengal’s arch rival Mohun Bagan has merged with three times ISL champions ATK and will play as ATK Mohun Bagan FC from this season. East Bengal fans also started to troll their rival fans for this reason. Now, the joy of the Red & Gold fans might be short-lived if East Bengal finally decides to play as ‘SC East Bengal.’
