HP’s new Spectre x360 14 convertibles with 11th Gen Tiger Lake CPUs launched

Hewlett-Packard (HP) has delivered many performance and productivity based laptops, especially the HP Spectre series, which is targeted towards everyday office users and graphics designers. HP has been striving to deliver uncompromised performance with its every model update to increase the productivity of day-to-day users.

The company launched its new HP Spectre x360 14, which satisfies the Intel’s Evo platform criteria, a major upgrade.

The HP’s new Spectre x360 14 is powered by the latest 11^th Gen Tiger Lake processor. Its anybody’s guess that the laptop sports the latest Thunderbolt 4 port. On top of all this, with Intel’s Xe integrated graphics onboard, users can play some high-end games with medium settings at a decent frame rate. This was, however, not an option previously available for the series.

The device has an aspect ratio of 3:2 for display. At the same time, sporting a 16 percent larger touchpad then its predecessor.

The new laptop is the first Spectre to include a 3:2 aspect ratio display with 20 percent more vertical real estate than the 16:9 screens.

HP calls its new laptop its “most intelligent PC ever”. The device uses Intel’s Dynamic Tuning to avoid battery draining or overheating.

Its AI Noise Removal reportedly eliminates background noise from communication apps like Microsoft Teams and Zoom. The device also has an Auto Color feature that can automatically switch the screen’s color space between DCI-P3, Adobe RGB, and sRGB.

Apple revealed various products this year and two of its most anticipated smartwatches: The Apple Watch Series 6 and the Apple Watch SE.

The Cupertino giant is known for its market-defining smartwatches. The smartwatches have a lot of competition in the market, but the two new Smart Watches stand out the most is their optimized optical heart sensor.

One might argue that the Apple Watch has always included an optical heart sensor designed to detect pulse irregularities. The sensor detects signals that indicate serious medical conditions the owners of the devices might not be aware of.

Apple took the health monitoring capabilities of its devices to a whole new level by adding ECG technology to them. It’s clear as day that the key selling point of Apple Smartwatches is their health tracking capabilities.

But this feature might just do more harm than good.

Sources claim that out of 264 patients who said their Apple Watches flags a concerning heart rhythm; only 30 patients got a cardiac diagnosis after their doctor visit. Most of the concerning heart monitor data were probably false positive alerts.

This might not be that harmful. I mean, it’s just a notification, right? A false-positive alert, no matter even though the patient is healthy, can still cause several problems.

Kirk Wyatt, an assistant professor of pediatrics at Mayo Clinic said, “It is hard for a user to ignore an alert that they could have a serious medical condition,”.

They can push patients to get unnecessary health care and cause stress and anxiety. Even though they don’t have any symptoms, they may still feel the need to talk to a doctor about an abnormal notification on their Apple device.

Smartwatches are a useful way for many to monitoring their own health at home. But they are not a complete health care solution.

Apple claims of doing extensive research in developing their heart monitoring system. Most people don’t know that the research is focused on how well the device can detect atrial fibrillation. It is no way an actual screening tool that can aid in the health care system.

Our verdict? A wearable device cannot fully understand the context and nuisances of an illness. At least not for now anyway.

IPL 2020 – DC vs KKR: Match preview, Fantasy XI team and Prediction

This exciting weekend will feature a super Saturday as we’ll get two thrilling matches on the same day! The second match of the day will feature the Delhi Capitals taking on Kolkata Knight Riders.

The Capitals are coming off their first loss of the season against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, are coming off a clinical win handing Rajasthan Royals their first loss of the season.

Delhi Capitals

The Capitals are having issues with their top-order. Youngster Prithvi Shaw will have to show consistency. The middle-order has been good, however, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, and Shimron Hetmyer will have to convert their starts into bigger scores.

Capitals’ bowling has been decent as well. Ashwin’s absence hasn’t been affecting the team. However, Ishant Sharma, who is known as a test specialist, will have to get adapted to the T20 circuit.

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR seems to have finally found its best combination after a dominant win over the undefeated Rajasthan Royals. Opener Shubhman Gill has been phenomenal throughout the IPL. Sunil Narine, on the other hand, has been struggling. However, at Sharjah under a small stadium, he can be even more effective. KKR’s middle-order can do better as well. Nitish Rana has been getting starts but has been unable to convert them. Skipper Dinesh Karthik and dangerous Andre Russell will have to step up their game.

Their bowling, on the other hand, has been phenomenal. They have access to six solid bowling options. Pat Cummins has regained his form. Both youngsters Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti have been great. Sunil Narine bowls in the powerplay overs. Kuldeep Yadav and Andre Russell chip in with a few overs as well.

Fantasy XI team

SHUBMAN GILL (9) (C) – Gill looked in great form in the second match as his fifty took KKR home. He scored another fifty against RR to take KKR towards a respectable total. He’ll be our captain.

SHREYAS IYER (9.5) (VC) – Iyer has been consistent. He can be even more destructive keeping in mind the shorter boundaries.

RISHABH PANT (9.5) – Pant has looked solid as well. It’s just a matter of fact he converts his thirties into fifties and beyond.

PRITHVI SHAW (8.5) – Shaw hasn’t been consistent, but again with the shorter boundaries, he’s well-equipped to score more.

EOIN MORGAN (9) – Morgan has shown great form. He took KKR home against their match against SRH. He also played an important contribution against RR to put up a respectable total.

NITISH RANA (9) – Rana has looked good. He will have to convert his starts into bigger scores though.

ANDRE RUSSELL (10.5) – Russell showed some form in their last match against RR. With shorter boundaries, his confidence will be through the roof as well.

SUNIL NARINE (9.5) – Narine hasn’t been in the best of the form. However, he can smash the ball keeping in mind the shorter boundaries. Also, his mystery deliveries will be useful as spinners struggle a lot in Sharjah.

KAGISO RABADA (9.0) – Rabada has been in great form. He has been leading the DC bowling line-up really well.

ANRICH NORTJE (8) – Nortje has impressed everybody with his pacy deliveries which even touch up to 150 kmph. He has been a great late replacement in place of Chris Woakes.

SHIVAM MAVI (8) – Mavi has proved himself in his all the three matches.

PREDICTION

The Sharjah stadium is a graveyard for bowlers, especially spinners. KKR have solid six bowling options. Therefore, even if one of the bowlers go excessively expensive, the sixth bowlers can chip in with an over or two.

DC have six bowlers as well, however, Ishant Sharma hasn’t played much in the T20 circuit and Amit Mishra has been a bot expensive as well.

The Kolkata Knight Riders will therefore defeat the Delhi Capitals.

IPL 2020 – RR vs RCB: Match preview, Fantasy XI team and Prediction

The battle of two ‘Royals’ is upon as Rajasthan Royals will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Royals are coming off of their first defeat of the season. Unfortunately, it was a big one and affected their net run rate as well. Therefore, they will like to get things back on track.

RCB, on the other hand, is coming off a close yet epic super over win over Mumbai Indians. They scored a massive score of 201 runs batting them. They were able to restrict MI at 78-4 in 11.2 overs. However, the defending champions still managed to get a draw. RCB then restricted MI to only 7 runs in the super over which were chased easily.

Rajasthan Royals

Royals, especially their top order, were phenomenal in their first two matches. Jos Buttler will have to perform to justify his place over David Miller. Their middle-order has been struggling. Robin Uthappa has failed to adapt to his new role. Tewatia will have to be consistent as well. They bat deep with Tom Curran scoring a fifty in their last match and Jofra Archer looking in great form as well.

Bowling has been an issue for the Royals. Except for Jofra Archer, almost all have been dicey. Tom Curran has been good but will have to show some consistency. Ankit Rajpoot and Jaydev Unadkat have been leaking runs. Leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal seems to have been struggling as well. Royals may consider replacing him with U-19 fame Kartik Tyagi or mystery spinner Mayank Markande. They may also consider replacing Rajpoot with Varun Aaron.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

The top order has failed. Except for youngster Devdatt Paddikal, there hasn’t been consistency. Aaron Finch hasn’t been able to convert starts into big ones. However, they’ll be concerned about the bad form of skipper Virat Kohli. The middle-order has shown consistency with Mr.360 finishing the innings. All-rounder Shivam Dubey has shown good form as well.

Despite making changes and bringing in Isuru Udana, the death bowling and pace bowling crisis have continued for RCB. Navdeep Saini does not get any assistance from another end.

Fantasy XI team

AB DE VILLIERS (10) (VC) – AB de Villiers has been super consistent this IPL. It’s hard to believe that he has been out of action before the IPL. He’ll be my vice-captain.

SANJU SAMSON (9.5) (C) – Samson has been in unreal form. He’ll therefore be our captain.

STEVE SMITH (10) – The RR skipper has been in phenomenal form.

JOS BUTTLER (10.5) – Buttler couldn’t do much in the first two matches. However, he as been in great form in the international circuit.

RAHUL TEWATIA (8.5) – Tewatia has looked great both with the bat and ball. He’ll have to add more consistency to his match-winning innings.

SHIVAM DUBEY (8.5) – Shivam Dubey has been giving wickets at regular intervals for RCB. He has also looked good with the bat.

DEVDATT PADIKKAL (8) – Youngster Padikkal has impressed everyone with his batting this year. After top order fails, he’s had 2 fifties in three matches in the IPL.

JOFRA ARCHER (9) – Archer bowled great as well and not to forget his innings where he hit Ngidi for four consecutive sixes!

YUZVENDRA CHAHAL (9) – Chahal has developed into a phenomenal and intelligent limited over spinner. He picked up three valuable wickets in their first match.

NAVDEEP SAINI (8.5) – Saini has looked in great form especially in the death overs. He bowled a match-winning super over in their last match.

GURKEERAT MANN (8) – Mann being a capped Indian batsman, can certainly play a decent inning depending upon the situation.

PREDICTION

It has been difficult predicting matches in IPL 2020 due to the UAE pitches. Teams winning the toss elected to bowl keeping in mind the due later on, however, the teams batting first have won. Also, it has been noted that a team at least needs one strike fast bowler which RCB doesn’t have.

Also, RR batting looks more equipped to bat in any situation be it batting first or chasing. Therefore, the Rajasthan Royals will defeat the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

A recent filing reveals that a trust that holds the assets of Jio fiberoptic, is managed to raise 397.1 billion rupees, that’s $5.4 billion. The entire fund comes through borrowings, selling stakes, and investment firms.

To explain this in detail, the Digital Fiber Infrastructure Trust gains the 147.1 billion rupees fund by issuing units, and the rest of the 250 billion rupees comes through a loan from group companies. According to the filing to the Securities and Exchange Board of India, this loan will reduce the current debts, as well as boost the business expansion.

Realme is going to launch the Buds Air Pro on October 7 along with several other devices. The event will cover one neckband, a smartphone and this earbud. There might be several other devices listed for the launch but until now the above devices have been teased by the company.

Now coming to the Realme Buds Air Pro, it is the pro version of the Buds Air launched a few months back. The previous version of these earbuds was an all plastic design and was famous for its super-low latency and amazing sound quality. So, we need to look at how the pro version dominates the TWS market. The design and specs have been changed from the last time.

The Realme Air Buds Pro will be sold via Flipkart and realme.com. The Flipkart listing of the device has already been revealed. Let’s have a look in what we are getting on an upgraded version. The Realme Buds Air Pro is coming with a totally new design where it looks more like the Apple AirPods Pro which has rubber ear tips. These earbuds will also have a similar design to AirPods Pro.

The new stadium of the FUT 21 looks great when you customize it yourself, and playing on it feels much more detailed, and the crowd in the stadium also looks more natural. A lot of small changes and improvements in the total atmosphere can be noticed easily. Also, the transitions and performance while playing have been improved a lot.

Overall, the effort put on to make the game more lively is indeed noticeable, also the new 3D starting XI layout of your team before starting the game makes the gameplay even more interesting.

The player faces have improved as the face structures look more natural and the overall gameplay too is smooth and the first touches much more responsive. Also the new dribbling techniques happen quite naturally and is lot more easier to implement.

The defensive improvements have been noticed as well and the new “controlling tackling technology” help keep it more realistic. If you ask about passing then that has improved as well, throughs and long passes seem more accurate, now depends on players with whom you play.

Realme Q-series smartphone has been spotted on 3C database

According to some of the recent reports, Realme is all set to introduce a new member of its Q series family in China. This new member will be added to the Q series on October 13. As of now, we don’t know the retail name of this upcoming phone. A couple of days ago, we’ve spotted this model on the AnTuTu benchmark and now it was also spotted on China’s 3C regulatory body.

From those spots, the model number of that device has been disclosed which is RMX2117. For the same reason, we’ve come to know some of its confirmed specifications. But not all of them. The maximum of the specifications are just rumours right now.

The RMX2117 will run on the latest Realme UI 2.0 which is based on the Android 11 OS and it will be powered by a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor. The name of the chipset is still a mystery. The listing of that phone has also confirmed that this phone will be fueled by a decent 4,900mAH battery which is being supported by a 30W fast charging and 5G connectivity will be there too. This phone will be available in four different colour variants: silver, black, blue, and grey.

Coming to display, this phone is confirmed to have a 6.5-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This information has been official and the credit goes to a previous TENAA listing. Regarding the camera, this phone will sport a triple rear camera setup which includes a 48MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies, this phone will offer a 16MP selfie snapper at the front.

The octa-core CPU of this phone will be paired with 4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB/128GB storage options. Coming to the size, this phone will have a dimension of 162.2mm x 75.1mm x 9.1mm while the handset’s weight is 194 grams.

In a previous article, we claimed that Realme is planning to launch Realme 7i in India in the month of October, now unsurprisingly, we have got a news that Realme is hosting a couple of big events next week on 7th October. On that day Realme 7 series will be launched in Europe, alongside Realme 7i and some accessories like Buds Air Pro and Buds Wireless Pro earphones will also be launched in India.

Coming to the pricing and availability, the company has launched the Realme 7i in Indonesia for RP 3,099,00 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant but now Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth has tweeted that the Realme 7i will be launched in India on 7th October. There is no confirmation on the pricing of this phone, but we can expect that in India, this phone will carry a price tag of around INR 15,000.
