Diogo Dalot to fly to Milan for completing a loan deal

After falling out of favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and almost being forgotten as a Manchester United player, Diogo Dalot is set to revive his career in Italy, which seems to be the hotspot for Manchester United players to have another crack at the top tier of European football. 

With the likes of Lukaku, Alexis Sanches, Mkhitaryan, Chris Smalling and Ashley Young already making the voyage to Serie A to gain minutes, Diogo Dalot looks set to join AC Milan on loan for the 20/21 season. 

Reports state that the full-back will be flying to Milan today or tomorrow at the latest to complete the move to the Rossoneri. 

According to an update by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, there has been no option to buy the player included in the loan deal. Manchester United have asked for €30 million as a fee. 

Fans have been left scratching their heads especially due to the urgency of Manchester United to sell before they spend. Donny Van de Beek has been the only major signing this summer and should talks with Alex Telles fail to go through, United could be in for a rough season unless their current squad makes a drastic improvement.

Roma were thought to be the frontrunners in trying to land Dalot, but they were pushing for a permanent transfer. AC Milan had no problem accepting a loan deal for the Portuguese player and the San Siro is where the player will attempt to gain minutes, donning red unlike former teammates Lukaku and Young.  

AC Milan have had a pretty successful summer transfer window. With the likes of Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali and Zlatan Ibrahimovic already at the club, the 20/21 season feels like a revival for the 7-time Champions League winners as they compete in the Europa League this season.

Champions League winners Bayern Munich are now pursuing a move for Chelsea winger Callum Hudson Odoi. According to the very efficient Fabrizio Romano, Bayern want the forward to join their club and provide competition to Sane, Coman and Gnabry.

Although the specifics of the arrangement are unclear as yet, it could potentially be a loan with an option or obligation to buy for a certain price in 2021. Hudson-Odoi though had remained calm amidst this news, not seeking to force a transfer away from the club that he loves. Manager Frank Lampard is synonymous with the sentiment and wants to keep him as he has proven to be quite a useful squad player.

Logically speaking, Bayern were always chasing a player for the forward positions this window. Last season, they had Ivan Perisic among the options and was their first choice for a move this season as well. But with Inter choosing to keep the player and involve him more in Antonio Conte’s plans, Bayern were forced to look elsewhere.

Having secured a move for Leroy Sane for a fee around £50 million pounds, the Germany winger though recently suffered an injury. It is possibly hence, one of the reasons why Bayern have accelerated efforts in signing Callum Hudson Odoi in the last few days before the transfer window slams shut for all clubs.

Hudson-Odoi came through the ranks of the famed Chelsea academy. Alongside the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount, he made his mark first in the 2018/19 Europa League season. It was a tournament that Chelsea would go on to win, and Hudson Odoi’s tally of 4 goals and 2 assists were crucial.

Last season he made 22 appearances, albeit most off the bench, scoring 1 goal and providing 5 assists. A winger with good pace and stamina, he is capable of playing on either flank well. Perhaps, that is why Bayern Munich want him after all.

POCO C3 will be priced under INR 10,000 in India

According to reports, Poco (sub-brand of Xiaomi) is going to launch its new Poco C3 on October 6 this year. It’s only 3 days prior to the launch, the rear camera setup of the Poco C3 has been detailed by the company itself through its twitter handle. There is already a ‘coming soon’ listing of this phone on Flipkart.

The company has accidentally revealed the pricing of the smartphone along with some other key specs and the design has also been revealed. According to the company, the phone will be priced under INR 10,000 in India with a powerful processor compatible with gaming as well.

According to the details revealed by Poco, the Poco C3 will sport a triple rear camera setup on the back housed inside a squircle-shaped module together with the LED flash. This rear camera module includes a 13MP primary sensor joined by a macro and a depth sensor. The triple camera setup has the Poco branding underneath.

As of now, Poco hasn’t revealed any other specifications of this phone. But it is said in the media that the upcoming Poco C3 will be the rebranded version of the Redmi 9C.

If we want to discuss this phone’s specs, then we can take the Redmi 9C, as the Poco C3 will be a rebranded version of it (probably). The Redmi 9C runs on the Android 10 OS and is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC paired with up to 4GB of RAM. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.53-inch HD+ display. This phone also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and support AI face unlock.

Apart from it, this phone has every other connectivity options, like a 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB port for charging.

Reports last week suggested that personal terms had been agreed between Atletico Madrid and Lucas Torreira over a move over to the Wanda Metropolitano. 

Longstanding rumours suggested that Thomas Partey was on the verge of leaving Atletico Madrid. Arsenal was the most heavily touted destination.

However, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has made it clear that Partey was never a makeweight for a deal involving the Uruguayan midfielder.

 

Torreira was supposedly in talks to move the other way on a permanent deal, but only a loan deal has been struck between the two clubs. 

Despite targeting Houssem Aouar of Lyon to bolster their options in midfield, the Gunners have been unable to match the 50 million euros valuation of the midfielder. The departure of Torreira will leave Arsenal needing options for depth in the squad to compete in the Europa League once again.

With only 48 hours left for transfers to be completed, Arsenal must hurry should they want either one of Houssem Aouar or Thomas Partey to improve their squad for the 20/21 season.

We already know AMD is launching their new Ryzen 5000 series CPU next week based on their new Zen 3 architecture and we have already spotted their upcoming Ryzen 7 5800X and Ryzen 9 5900X CPUs. As per the newly leaked info coming from a few trusted sources via Videocardz, the availability of these CPUs have been a major concern.

AMD is already facing 7nm wafer shortage and its reflected with its Ryzen 4000 APU series, now, this issue concerns with AMD’s new Ryzen 5000 series as well. The creator of ClockTuner for Ryzen, Yuri Bubliy did suggest on Twitter that AMD would be launching its Ryzen 5000 series processors on October 20th.

There will actually be two new CPUs coming into the market 12 days after launch – the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800X and 12-core Ryzen 9 5900X. This seems true because only these two CPUs have been spotted on benchmarks till now without any signs of the other Ryzen 5000 series processors.

While the mid-range Ryzen 5 5600X and the flagship 16-core CPU Ryzen 9 5950X will be launching later, seemingly as late as December 2020. Also the German site ComputerBase has also predicted that the first wave of Ryzen 5000 CPUs should retail between October 20-27th.

Bubliy has also said in the tweet that the upcoming AMD Navi 2x GPUs, launching on October 28th, will be available by mid-November. The availability of these new Ryzen CPUs remains a major concern, but the performance improvements over last-gen are clearly reflected via early benchmarks, and AMD’s weak point i.e., single-core performance, is likely to improve drastically as well.

Romelu Lukaku was selected as the ‘UEFA Europa League Player of the Season’ for the 2019/20 season. He beat Bruno Fernandes and Ever Banega to top the list.

Romelu Lukaku joined Inter Milan from Manchester United. He was criticized for his poor performance in United jersey. In his 96 games for Manchester United in 2 seasons, he only scored 42 goals.

But he shuts his critics with his performance for his new club. He displayed an excellent last season for the Serie A side. He scored 34 goals in his 51 appearances last season.

Inter Milan started their Europa League journey from Round of 32 after coming 3rd in their group in the UEFA Champions League Group stage. He scored in his last two games of UCL last season as well. In UEL he scored 7 goals including 2 assists in his 6 appearances. He also made a record of scoring in 6 consecutive outings in European competition last season.

Now, Japanese telecommunication giant Rakuten has also joined the party with that launch of its Rakuten BIG smartphone, whose main highlights are the huge display and an under-display selfie camera. For its massive footprint, this phone is named as the Rakuten ‘BIG’. Let’s get into the specifications of this phone.

The Rakuten BIG smartphone runs on Android 10 OS and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm snapdragon 765G chipset. Regarding the display, this phone features a huge 6.9-inch Full HD+ OLED display with the support of an in-display fingerprint scanner. This phone is available in three different color variants: Black, White, and Crimson Red.

In a rather unexpected deal close to the end of the summer transfer window, Rhian Brewster has joined Sheffield United for a club-record fee of £23.5 million. 

Given the finances and performances of Sheffield United in the previous season, to break their transfer record for a 20-year-old only shows how highly they rate the forward. 

The details of the deal include a sell-on and buy-back clause for former club Liverpool. The buy-back clause is valid for three years. 

Sheffield United are believed to have fended off competition from Crystal Palace and Aston Villa to secure the signature of the starlet. 

While the details of the buy back clause have not been mentioned by the club, a fee of about £30 to £40 million can be expected by the Blades should Liverpool want their former player back. 

In addition, the Premier League Champions have a 15% sell-on clause in Brewster’s contract as well. That means that they will get 15% of any transfer fee that Sheffield United get should they sell Brewster elsewhere. 

The England native certainly has potential. He was the Golden Boot winner for the England U17 team as they won the U17 World Cup in 2017 held in India, with 8 goals to his name throughout the competition. 

The youngster never really found his feet at Anfield and spent the back half of last season on loan at Swansea City. With competition proving to be too stiff for the youngster to earn minutes, it is only fitting that he joins United in an attempt to gain some minutes under his belt. 

The stats speak for themself. Brewster scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for Swansea and has the potential to develop into one of the top centre-forwards of the upcoming generation under Chris Wilder.
