The transfer deadline is approaching and we have a few hours left, so naturally, this brings a lot of new updates in a few minutes or so. A new tweet Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Barcelona is desperate to sign the Dutch striker and for that, they are trying their best to offload players.
Barcelona are trying to sell Rafinha as they still want to complete Memphis Depay deal. Race against time again… Ousmane Démbélé not joining Manchester United, Barça always asked for a permanent deal. No loan. No agreement. 🔵🔴 #FCB#MUFC#DeadlineDay
Among the players who are not in part of Koeman’s plans include the Brazilian midfielder Rafinha, so the Blaugranas have already tried to push him to leave. However, there are not many clubs who want to sign him, it will be interesting to see if the club settles for lesser value in this crucial situation.
Ousmane Démbélé deal between Manchester United and Barcelona is now definitely OFF. 🔴 #MUFC#FCB#DeadlineDay
On the other hand, the Man U links to Démbélé were totally real and the United fans were quite excited about the French winger. However, Barcelona has cut the doors of his exit as Manchester United isn’t planning to buy him on a permanent basis.

If you are a Manchester United, then things are probably looking a little rosier in terms of the boosts the current squad is receiving.
Alex Telles has been confirmed as a new signing by the club on a four-year deal. The Reds will pay an all-inclusive fee of 17 million euros to Porto. Having been tracked for nearly some time now, the move made sense for all parties involved.
Telles got the big professional move he wanted, United reinforced their strength in the left-back position and Porto got a reasonable fee for a player that was due to be a free agent in summer 2021.
However, it might not be the end of the transfer window for United. Per the latest news from Fabrizio Romano, veteran striker Edinson Cavani is also expected to sign a two-year deal at the club. Signing as a free agent, the only investment United would have to make is in terms of the wages and bonuses part of the Uruguayan’s contract.
Furthermore, he will be expected to provide stiff competition to current centre-forward starter Anthony Martial. And if the opportunity and form tail off, he can even become the main No 9 for Manchester United. After all, he has done it many times with Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain. And this could be sort of a one last hurrah in the professional circuit for Cavani.
The club also confirmed the signings of Amad Traore and Facaundo Pellistri. While the former has been signed for an inclusive fee of 40 million euros from Atalanta, he will only arrive at United in 2021 owing to passport issues. The latter is a young striker who comes from Penarol, who are expected to receive 20% of any future sale of the player. Safe to say, these are both talents who are for the future than the present.
The last bit of business that Man United could have potentially done, was the signing of winger Ousmane Dembele from FC Barcelona. But this will now NOT be done, because of the difference in expectations from both clubs.
United wanted Dembele on a loan with possibly an option to buy. Barcelona on the other hand preferred selling the Frenchman on a much more permanent basis. It can be understood why the Catalan club wanted money upfront, having announced quite the enormous debt from past financial operations.
It is thus now looking like the end of the transfer window for United fans. And they will certainly feel happy at the closure mark, with significant deals tied up for some important players.
FC Barcelona is pushing hard in the last moment before the transfer window closes in a few hours from now on. The Blugaranas are racing to sell Jean-Clair Todibo as he is not in the part of Koeman’s plans, and they are also in pursuit of their ex-La Masia graduate Eric Garcia.
Although Todibo is a good center back but Barcelona prefers Ronald Araujo instead, which is strange though. But the thing is, Barcelona was looking for a deal for Todibo and we heard rumors surrounding Fulham, Borussia and now it seems as the time closes in, a new bidder is here.
Barcelona have accepted Benfica bid for Todibo. Now it’s just up to the player, personal terms expected to be agreed soon.
New Barça bid to Man City for Eric Garcia will be €17m [with add ons] to complete the agreement later. 🔵🔴
The Portuguese team Benfica is making a bid for Todibo, and the deal between both the clubs is over, only now it’s up to the Frenchman to accept the personal terms. The tweet from Fabrizio Romano confirms how the Catalans are short on time to complete the transfers.
The money generated from this deal will help Barcelona to ultimately go for their long-desired center back in the form of Eric Garcia. The Spaniard is determined to return to Barcelona and play for the Catalans, so he will not be renewing his contract with Man City and is just waiting to return.
On the other hand, the situation with Depay is a bit complex because Barcelona will have to sell Dembele to actually sign Depay. Koeman has no intention to play French winger in the first team but he genuinely wants the 26-year old striker. Already the Dutch striker has agreed on personal terms, he waits for the clubs to sort things out for his transfer.
Google last week announced its decision to move forward with enforcing its updated play store policies. The new policy update aims at enforcing the developers to use Google’s Play Store payment system to process in-app purchases. This will allow the android maker to cut 30% from every in-app purchase made by the users.
This new policy of the company is already in place for a long time. But was never enforced with strict regulations. However, now Google has decided to claim its 30% cut-off rights from app developers.
This created waves among the developer community and has seen strong resilience, especially from Indian start-ups.
India is the world’s second-largest internet market, and its start-ups looking for an alternative to Google’s Play Store could create some serious market trouble for the android maker.
via Android Authority
These concerns have made google to postpone its new Billing Policy enforcement only in India to April 2022. It plans to listen to developers and is willing to engage in tackling their concerns.
Purnima Kochikar, Director of Business Development of Games & Applications at Google Play, said “We are setting up listening sessions with leading Indian start-ups to understand their concerns more deeply. We will be setting up Policy Workshops to help clear any additional questions about our Play Store policies. And we’re also extending the time for developers in India to integrate with the Play billing system, to ensure they have enough time to implement the UPI for the subscription payment option that will be made available on Google Play — for all apps that currently use an alternative payment system we set a timeline of 31st March 2022,”
She also added, “We have always said developers should have a choice in how they distribute their apps, and that stores should compete for consumers’ and developers’ business.”
After the announcement that Google is moving forward with its updated Billing Policy, the scrutiny it received in the Indian market is the loudest it has ever received in this decade.
Citing concerns of various developers, the Indian government even announced that it is open to launching its very own Atmanirbhar App Store.
This new app store will not charge users for any 30% cut-in for in-app purchases.
Google commands more than 90% of India’s smartphone market. If the Android maker loses its monopoly over India’s app ecosystem, it will bring huge losses.
One other note Paytm has started advertising its very own Paytm mini app store. Claiming that its mini-app store will encourage India’s young start-ups to build and innovate their applications without fearing their profits.
All this is still not enough to dethrone Play Store as the primary app store on android. However, Google has to proceed with extreme caution and make sure to make some compromises to safeguard its monopoly over India’s App eco-system.
Manchester United were criticized for their poor transfer window this season. But they have been one of the busiest clubs on transfer deadline day today.
Manchester United has already announced the addition of Alex Telles in their squad. They will also announce the signing of Edinson Cavani soon.
As per reports, 18-year-old Uruguayan winger Facundo Pellistri has already agreed to be a Manchester United player and now flying to Manchester to complete his deal.
Atalanta winger Amad Traoré is also a done deal for United this morning but he will complete his move in January because of passport problems.
But Manchester United don’t want to stop here today. They want French winger Ousmane Dembele in a one-year loan deal. Barcelona doesn’t want to let him go in a loan deal. They want a permanent deal for the winger. But Manchester United is not interested to sign the winger in a permanent deal now as their prime target is Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
Démbélé did not train with Barça today, as per @moillorens. He’s open to join Man Utd – talks on between #MUFC and Barça but still no agreement.
👀 Now Man Utd considering to pay loan fee + covering full salary. Barça want permanent deal.
As per some reports, Dembele didn’t train with the Barca squad today and left Barca camp as well. Reports say he left the camp to complete his move to Manchester.
FC Barcelona will also sign Memphis Depay if Dembele finally leaves the club. Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman wants the Dutch international in his squad this summer.
Koeman was asked about the Dembele move. He said, “What is certain in the world? I don’t know.”
“At the moment, he’s a Barcelona player. There’s still one day left for incomings and outgoings. We’ll see.”, he added.
As per some recent reports, the deal is complicated. Manchester United and Barcelona are considering a move without medicals. The final announcement will be made in the final hours of the deadline day.
Thomas Partey played a starring role in Diego Simeone’s team last season. He made 35 league appearances for Atletico Madrid as they finished third last season. He also scored three goals.
Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone rates Partey highly and was reluctant to let him leave for any cost this summer. The only way for Arsenal to sign Partey was to pay his €50m release clause.
Mikel Arteta is rebuilding his Arsenal team. He targeted Lyon’s Aouar and Atletico’s Partey. After the French midfielder publicly said he wants to stay at Lyon, Arteta has turned his full focus on the 27-year-old Ghana international.
Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, LaLiga has confirmed that Arsenal has triggered the release clause of Thomas Partey.
Thomas Partey is completing his medicals right now @ Arsenal training ground. Here we go confirmed, he’s joined #AFC on s permanent deal.
Atlético Madrid are planning to announce Lucas Torreira on loan as new signing after medicals completed days ago. 🚨⚪️🔴 #AFChttps://t.co/gUszuoxAqN
Arsenal will be paying €50m as Thomas Partey’s release clause. The 27-year-old midfielder will sign a five-year deal at the Emirates.
He has already flown to London for his medicals and to sign the contract which runs till 2025.
Arsenal has already loaned out Guendouzi to Hertha Berlin, to make room for a new midfielder. Lucas Torreira is also set to join Atletico Madrid on a loan deal as he is not in Arteta’s plans.
The signing of Thomas Partey would definitely add more solidity to the Arsenal midfield along with Ceballos and Xhaka. This would give more opportunity to Aubameyang, Lacazatte and Pepe to cause more trouble to the opposition.
Chelsea had been busy in this transfer market from the very start. They have signed seven players this summer which includes big names like Werner, Thiago Silva, Ziyech, Chilwell, Havertz and Mendy.
So it is now time for some players to be loaned out or sold. Chelsea had already loaned out Ross Barkley to Aston Villa, who played a starring role as Villa humiliated Premier League champions, Liverpool, by a 7-2 scoreline. Then it was time for Bakayoko to be sent on loan to Napoli.
Now, on the transfer deadline day, Chelsea has sent another midfielder on loan, this time Ruben Loftus Cheek to Fulham.
The 24-year-old English midfielder wanted to move out in search of regular game time. After the big-money signings this summer, Ruben felt below the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard agreed to send him out on loan but the clubs weren’t willing to pay the larger portion of his £150,000-a-week salary.
Now on the transfer deadline day, Fulham made a last minute move for the England international and has accepted Chelsea’s salary divison. Ruben will definitely add a lot of quality to the Fulham midfield and would help the club in their fight to stay in the Premier League.
Facebook-owned WhatsApp is used by over billions of users across the globe. Most of its customers are on android platforms, and it offers various privacy and chats features to attract more customers to its global platform.
Its messages are end-to-end encrypted to ensure that no one except the parties in the conversation can read the data shared while chatting.
Though its privacy has been compromised time and again, with recent being the leaked chats of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput (may he rest in peace).
But let’s not talk about WhatsApp’s privacy here. We are discussing a new feature in which the chat app is testing on its beta version.
Ever had an annoying pest troubling you on WhatsApp whose number you will occasionally need but don’t want to receive their text on WhatsApp. Ever wondered how to lifetime shut the annoying good morning and goodnight messages in your family groups which no one cares about. And most importantly are you irritated by the annoying forwards that come your way by the graduates of WhatsApp university?
Well my friend you are not alone.
WhatsApp has finally heard our prayers and has started testing its Mute Forever feature in WhatsApp beta.
Initially, we could mute someone or a group for 8 hours, one day or one year at max, which is not enough to stop so many pests online. But now WhatsApp users can finally mute groups or personal chats forever! That’s right. Forward messages from WhatsApp uncles be mute forever.
The feature is being tested and is currently available for beta testers only. But we expect the feature to roll out for everyone in the coming weeks and with bug fixes and improvements, of course.
The feature will be available through the same settings.
To enable this option, head over to any chat or any group. Click on the three dots at the top right and open the ‘Mute Notifications’ option. There, you will be asked the duration of the mute to be enabled. Set it to always and voila.
This feature will be useful for many who are a part of various groups and don’t want to be bothered by notifications from them—especially notifications of the WhatsApp university syllabus.
Tiger lake-based laptops have started hitting the stores and are a must for anybody looking to upgrade from an older generation notebook. Intel has moved to its 10nm chip process with its Tiger Lake, meaning more performance is delivered with a small size. The new processor also sports the latest Iris Xe iGPU by Intel, which delivers decent graphics processing than its predecessors.
Intel revealed its Alder Lake, a high performing hybrid architecture but did not reveal much of the details. But we have got our hands on exclusive information regarding several Tiger Lake-H, Alder Lake-P, and Alder Lake-S specifications from OEM, courtesy of Notebookcheck.
The actual information might still differ once the final specs are revealed by the Semiconductor giant, but this information is still like a pearl found in the deep ocean. NBC states that the actual clock speeds of and TDPs are still elusive.
The report claims that the TGL-H is likely to arrive in 35 W and 45 W variants with 35 W topping out four cores and 45 W up to eight cores but will come with 32 execution units (EUs) Xe GPU. NBC also reports that the new Tiger Lake – H will be based on the 10nm Willow Cove core with up to 8C/16T configuration.
The Tiger Lake – H will support DDR4-3200 RAM up to 128 GB. The CPU has 20 PCIe Gen 4 lanes and 24 Gen 3 lanes from the PCH. The Xe LP iGPU will feature up to 32 EUs and can output up to 8K 60 HDR videos.
Alder Lake – P and Alder Lake -S
Alder Lake will be a hybrid CPU architecture, as confirmed by Intel itself. A hybrid architecture is pretty economical in power consumption but is not highly rated enough to deliver expected boost clocks. Alder Lake sports the smaller Gracemont (GRT) cores and the big cores of Golden Cove (GLC). The smaller cores are the successor of Tremont, while the bigger ones are successors of Willow Coves.
Sources claim of Alder Lake -P of having 6 GLC and 8 GRT cores while the Alder Lake -S will have up to 8 GLC and 8 GRT cores. But hyperthreading will be offered only in GLC cores for both P and S Alder Lake variants.
Alder Lake – P will reportedly offer 96 – EU Xe LP iGPU, while Alder Lake – S will come with 32 EUs. The iGPU in both Alder Lake variants will support Intel’s Gaussian and Neural Accelerator 3.0 (GNA 3.0) edge AI processing. Both the variants will support up to 64 GB (ADL-P) and 128 GB (ADL-S) of DDR5-4400 RAM.
A detailed table of all the Tiger Lake features is given below (courtesy: Notebookcheck):
